Surrounded by the Land of Waterfalls, and located between the Pisgah National Forest to the west and DuPont State Forest to the east, this updated 'Acorn Deck' style home offers truly majestic and sweeping views of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Find Looking Glass Rock. At night, under a spectacular starlit sky, see the lonely lights glowing out of the wilderness at the Pisgah Inn. Sit back in the therapeutic hot tub and take in the quiet solitude of our 2.8 acre mountain retreat . Enjoy the sound of our landscaped babbling creek. Step back in time in Brevard’s beautiful and historic downtown located just minutes from this mountain getaway. Staying with us awhile longer? Visit Asheville, Hendersonville, Greenville, or Waynesville, all less than an hour’s drive away. Hike, bike, swim, kayak or just relax. This home offers all the creature comforts you expect and access to more activities than you’ll have time for. You’ll just have to come back next year! Most dogs are welcome. Please Note: $100 PET FEE. 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms.

We’re repeat guests at this property and would not want to stay anywhere else now that we’ve found this place! It is so clean and the amenities are perfect. It’s very easy to feel at home here so you can just relax and enjoy the outdoors. We love the peace and privacy of this property while still being close to town/entertainment, breweries, grocery stores, bike trails, etc.

We had a fantastic, peaceful stay at Acorn's Retreat. The home is beautifully designed and maintained and the views are amazing. The kitchen is gorgeous and well-outfitted for all types of cooking. We loved all the art, and the beds are pretty and comfortable. The primary shower is luxurious and spacious! After long hikes each day, we rested our muscles in the pristine hot tub - just perfect. Juan and Carmen were responsive, kind and flexible. We hope to come back again!

Great stay

This house is beautiful and an easy drive to get to. Especially at the height of the location. We even got lucky and on our last day the mountains decided to show themselves from the house. The kitchen is amazing and so are the deer :-)

Family Getaway

This is our 2nd visit to Acorn’s Retreat and it was awesome! The views are gorgeous. The kitchen is wonderful for family dinners. There is so much to do at this beautiful property and around the area. We can’t wait to book again!

Exceptional Property & Hosts

We were so pleased with our stay at Acorn's Retreat. The property is beautiful; the furnishings are fashionable, comfortable, and clean; and the kitchen is stocked with all the equipment needed to cook and to entertain. A new feature that may not yet be listed on the profile is a fire pit area outfitted with paver steps and platform and racks of cut wood. In every detail of the property, it is quite clear that the hosts have considered and attended to the comfort, enjoyment, and possible needs of their guests. Our only regret was that we could not stay longer on this trip. We will definitely return to Acorn's Retreat when we travel to the Brevard area again.

Appealing Acorn Retreat

Beautiful, cozy welcoming home filled with every amenity you could want or need in a mountain home. Great location. We had a wonderful visit to Brevard. Great hikes, breweries and food!

Such a wonderful retreat

We have stayed here for many years and the home is always, consistently a beautiful place to relax and unplug. There’s a great kitchen, a hot tub, a wood burning fireplace, and that spectacular view of the mountains. We always feel at home here.

A wonderful stay after The Bard in Western North Carolina had experienced a horrible time

Had a great stay at a great location just outside of Brevard North Carolina with wonderful Mountain views. Host worked with us after Hurricane Helene caused problems in Western North Carolina to make our stay great. Brevard had just opened up and we had a great time in the city.

Beautiful mountain vistas

Beautiful mountain vistas through a bank of windows were your reward for making the long, steep, winding drive from the road through the neighborhood. The house is well kept, spacious and peaceful. The kitchen is well equipped. The wildlife was entertaining, and the flowing artificial creek was charming. Plenty of towels, movies and puzzles provided.

Perfect mountain getaway for our family!

Juan and Carmen’s home was beautiful, comfortable and so welcoming. From the well equipped and spacious kitchen to the magnificent views looking out from large glass windows along one side of the house, everything was perfect! Clean, Convenient, and Cozy!

We had an incredible week staying at Acorn's Retreat. The house is in a fantastic location, making it easy to explore the area. Great home to relax after a long day of local hiking. It's well-stocked, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our family made so many wonderful memories here, and we hope to return in the future!

Perfect mountain home

Acorn’s Retreat is a beautifully appointed, comfortable, spacious mountain home. The views are beautiful from the back deck, with glorious sunsets. The kitchen has everything you could possibly want - the bedrooms are comfortable with lovely linens - and the hosts were wonderfully communicative. Highly recommend! Ten out of ten!
