This relaxing recently updated 2BR/1BA cottage is steps away from every shop, restaurant, playground, and bar in The Village. Leave your keys in the car for the weekend and walk everywhere. From Music on the Lawn (which you can hear from the spacious new front porch) to the lovely wine shop downtown, ice cream at the famous Kilwinā€™s to dinner at award-winning restaurants ā€“ this stylish cottage is the perfect getaway for a family, friends, or a couple wanting to step away from it all.

Living Areas
This delightful cottage boasts charming details and original hardwood flooring. An open dining room and living room are perfect for sharing a meal or playing a board game. A spacious kitchen is stocked with all the essentials for cooking a delicious breakfast before heading out for shopping downtown, a hike at Bass Lake or a ride on Tweetsie the train.

Bedrooms & Bath
Step into a restful retreat in the large master bedroom. Designed with relaxation in mind, cozy up under a blanket in the reading nook or take an afternoon nap in the plush king-size bed with a luxurious memory-foam mattress. With its large size, easily fit a crib (thereā€™s one onsite) or air mattress right in the room. Our queen bedroom is not only stylish but comfortable. The nearby guest bath features custom wall art with a double vanity, bathtub and shower.

Outdoor Spaces
The newly renovated front porch of this house is made for fun and relaxation! In the afternoon, take the kids across the street to the incredible Blowing Rock Elementary playground. In the evenings, retreat to the front porch to reflect on your day in the comfortable outdoor furniture and enjoy a beer while listening to music on the lawn (from May to October). A small but inviting front yard is surrounded by a hedge for privacy. Sit under the apple tree in a double Adirondack lounger to maximize your time away or fire up the on-site propane grill for a cookout.

Guest amenities include a washer/dryer, crib and high chair, parking for one car at the main house with access to more parking by request. Enjoy a ping-pong tournament or shuffleboard game in the garage game room.

Great location, right off of Main Street. Not too close to main street for the noise. The garage ping-pong and shuffleboard was fantastic for us grown-ups and a nine-year-old. The property was well stocked with necessities. Bedding was super comfortable. Highly recommend, and certainly would stay there again.

Another Fantastic Stay!

We have stayed at this property multiple times and we just love it. It's close to everything in town where you don't have to get in your car again if you don't want to, but also just far enough off Main street where you feel a good sense of privacy. Highly recommend!

The location was a block from Main Street so easy to walk to wonderful restaurants for breakfast or dinner, but it was far enough from Main Street to be quiet. This home was so comfortable, and the owner thought of everything. Find Bass Lake about 5 minutes away for a truly magical walk around the lake -about a mile. What a jewel of a place. We loved using this as our daily place to explore other towns but return to comfort each night. Highly Recommend. 11 out of 10 rating

Another great stay!

Perfect mountain trip

Wonderful location

This was my first visit to Blowing Rock. My sister and I stayed at the cottage and loved it. The location is perfect and you can walk everywhere in town. We had a blast in the evenings playing ping pong. Such a great overall experience.
