Just one of the wonderful experiences you came to Hawaii for.... an outstanding oceanfront condo to make your stay complete.
Our fresh one bedroom unit is on the second floor of the D building of the wonderful Kona Reef Resort, really only six steps up! (Unit D14), From the time you D-14 you will be drawn to the ocean view in front of you. Fully appointed and air conditioned to ensure your stay is completely comfortable, from the swivel chairs on the lanai for watching the turtles or surfers play, to the extra comfortable pillow top king size bed.
D-14 at the Reef offers the best in relaxation of the resort complex. You have the best view from your own private lanai of the ocean and shoreline, where you are not too high to not enjoy the action of the waves crashing on the rocks, but high enough to have your own privacy. Once you open the sliding glass doors to the ocean, you may never close them again until you leave, as the sound of the ocean is so wonderful and is so peaceful, it will lull to sleep every night.
In the condo you will find all the needed items for a full relaxing stay. There is a comfortable full cushioned sofa that folds out to a queen size bed, a wonderful club chair for watching the view or reading. In July 2013 we added granite counters and a new stove in the kitchen, plantation shutters in the bedroom, and new drapes in the living room!
There is air conditioning in the condo for those rare extra hot days along with ceiling fans to keep the air moving, if the ocean breeze is not enough. There is one ceiling fan in the living room, one in the bedroom and one more on the lanai. The condo has free password protected wireless internet access in the unit for web surfing, checking your email if you wish, or working if you have to (call the condo the āfar west coast officeā). For those that can pull their eyes from the ocean there is a new 40ā LCD TV in the living room with cable access and a VCR/DVD player attached and in the bedroom there is another new 27ā LED flat screen with cable access.
The Kona Reef Resort is an outstanding resort property with a great location, from the incredible oceanfront location to the sand beach next door, Honl Beach. The resort has a wonderful pool and a large whirlpool spa. The pool area also has tables with chairs and chase lounges for sunbathing and a cabana party area with 4 large stainless steel gas BBQ's for the guests to use. The BBQ area is a great place to meet other guests and share about the great experiences of each other's adventures of the day. Parking is free and you can use the underground garage to keep your car cooler.
Kona Reef is within 1/4 mile of town and offers one- or two-bedroom condominiums.
The complex offers 4 gas grills, covered outdoor eating area, saltwater pool and hot tub. Next door is a white sand beach.
There is an elevator, but stairs are required for access to all units.

What you see in the pictures on-line is exactly how the condo looks. The view from the balcony is why I chose this condo. It is absolutely breathtaking. There is free parking at the condo which is helpful and the shopping center and restaurants are a short walk from the condo. I highly recommend this condo to friends and family. Iād definitely stay here again if we visit the Big Island next time.

Lovely condo with all that you need for your stay in Kona! We were able to watch sunsets from our balcony and walk to town (parking is terrible), added surprises on top of a condo that has it all. Fully stocked kitchen, clean AND comfy bed. Just book this place !

Great place to stay with parking. Easy walk to shopping and restaurants. Location was great for driving to sites in any direction. Kitchen had plenty of dishes and cookware for you to enjoy your stay. Pool area was neat and clean with plenty of loungers. If there is any criticism it would be in the near future to invest in a new mattress.

Only a few feet from the ocean! Room shiney clean. Snorkel gear, sand chairs, water boards provided. Loved the coffee beans provided. Parking aplenty in garages. Pool area and hot tub extremely clean.Kitchen had tons of dishes, pots and pans. Two of the burners on the 4 burner stove didn't work.

Condo was clean, it shows it age a little bit, especially in the bathroom, but the view is incredible. Parking was OK. Thereās a lot of construction going on in the building so most of the outside parking had construction material and so forth I would definitely rent this unit again, the ease of renting is great and the view canāt be

The property was great about over communicating and responding quickly. The condo was clean and had extra amenities that made it feel more welcoming like beach chairs, snorkel gear, some cooking seasonings, coffee, ice cube trays, small lunch cooler, etc. The view was amazing!

Communication was great start to finish. Unit well provisioned. Second TV a plus. Highlite was surfers all day and crashing surf. Free parking was easy. Highly recommend this location and unit.

The beach front condo we stayed in was wonderful. The location was perfect and the beach view was amazing to be able to view sunrise & sunsets from. The furniture & bed were comfortable, place was very clean and was overall a great stay! We said we will actually be staying in the same place again when we return to Kona!

Had a fantastic stay at Kona Reef. This condo was very clean, well stocked, and really had everything we needed. The location was perfect, and we especially loved sitting on the lanai and looking out at the ocean and listening to the waves. From the moment we booked it to the moment we checked out, communication from the rental agency was excellent. Thank you for the great stay! Will definitely be back next trip to the Big Island!

Great place to stay in Kona!
This was a fantastic property to stay at for our trip to Kona! The view and location facing the ocean made for beautiful mornings with a cup of coffee and gorgeous sunsets with a glass of wine! The condo was clean and had everything we could need for our week stay. We will definitely book here again when we come back to visit!
