****This home is Historic, over 120 years old. the original wood floors still exist, so expect that the floors will creak and squeak and at times it will smell like a museum. some interpret that as a musty smell. it's not bad for most but expect that you are staying in an historic home. it's not that strong, but we like to put it out there to set expectations. and rmemeber the floors squeak!

Description:

This home includes a spacious open main floor concept featuring a formal dining space for meal gatherings, a beautifully remodeled kitchen, family room, and a spacious front porch for relaxation. All perfect touches for maximizing your entertainment space! This space includes three bedrooms (Two of the three bedrooms are twice as big with two queen beds each) and two full bathrooms, sleeping ten people comfortably. Thoughtful touches of detail from exposed brick, beautiful wood work, and tile back splashes showcase the unique quality offered by this wonderful property.

LAYOUT:
Upstairs: Two bedrooms (one with one queen size bed, the other with two queen sized beds) and one full bathroom with shower. Main floor: Living room, dining room, kitchen, front and back porch. Lower Level: One large bedroom with two queen size beds as well as bathroom and Laundry room with full sized washer and dryer.

Included: fully stocked kitchen with all the necessities. Bathrooms include all essential toiletries. All linens, towels, and pillows will be provided with a stress free relaxing stay.

This property is nestled in the heart of Midtown Omaha, which makes its location second to none. Walking distance to Midtown Crossing and Blackstone shops, bars, restaurants. Have a day free? Enjoy taking in the Historic Old Market, or visit our world famous Henry Doorly Zoo. Feeling a bit of luck on your side? A wide variety of casinos are just over the bridge, making the adventure just a short 10 minutes drive .

Fantastic stay! Had everything we needed and the location is amazing near Blackstone and midtown (bars, restaurants, entertainment, etc). Would recommend! The owners were great and very flexible (bag drops and we left something at checkout).

Cozy and Convenient

We really enjoyed our stay! The house had a lot of character and was well-maintained for its age. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect—close to everything but still quiet and relaxing. Would definitely stay here again!

The inside of be property was cute and clean. We were not able to park in the front so we parked in the back. The stairs were horrible. Didn't seem safe and nails and tin sticking up. The neighbor seemed a little rough. The bed room with the 1 beds in it smelled like smoke from neighbors smoking and outside and Ac sucking in that air.

Very nice place

After a long 5 hour drive it was easy to find and check in. Very nice comfortable place for our family to relax. My only suggestion would maybe be a couple chairs in the front porch and back deck area

Close to everything!

My classmates and I stayed here for 12 days and the location was perfect! We were 5 minutes from Creighton and about 10 minutes to The Old Market and the zoo. It was clean and Candace was very accommodating with the minor issues we had when we first got there! We would definitely stay again!

Worked for us!

We were in town for a wedding. This location made it very convenient to the wedding venue. It was clean and comfortable. This property suited our needs and I loved that we only had to take care of ourselves upon departure. So many places have a long list of items to be done before you leave. All we had to do was lock the doors.

Overall it was good. A little outdated. Not super clean. The one side of the rental had a big party the one night til like 4 a.m. and walls are super thin. But overall for a short stay(3 nights) was good.

We stayed here with family for a quick trip to the Omaha Zoo. This property was a quick drive to the zoo - less than 10 mins. The property has been updated and each room has fans or an in-window AC unit. The property is an older house so if you need more outlets, be sure to bring a power strip. Also, be aware the stairs to the bedroom downstairs are very shallow and steep - there is a warning on the door. It would be nice if there were chairs on the front and back patio. Overall it was a great stay for a 2 day trip.

not great, but adequate. has anyone checked under the beds in forever.?? Absolutely filthy. Not very well stocked. No mixer, no blender, pretty much no anything. We had to go out and purchase these items for ourselves. I fully expected them to be there. This was our first rental with VRBO, and I am leaning to not using them again. You may call me if you wish to discuss further. At least the air conditioning worked. Not even a spatula.

Property on the rise

This is in a historical midtown Omaha neighborhood that appears to be in the middle of a revival period. Many houses in the neighborhood appear to be newly re-landscaped and/or restored , while other may still be waiting for the necessary TLC to match their neighbors. We stayed in the middle unit of this triplex, which was an older building, but the interior had been updated with more modern features. Although pleasant temperatures, the days we stayed, were very windy causing a lot of neighborhood trash to blow around and a mystery metal banging from our house's roof. Location exceeded expectation. Just 5 min walk from house was Farnam St with excellent eating/drinking options. We did not have time to try all options during our 3 days but did try and would recommend The Switch(especially El Arepon), LeadBelly, Farnam House Brewing and Beertopia. Several more looked interesting but ran out of time. Dewey Park(small but nice) was also a 5 minutes walk, where we could picnic, let our dogs run in the dog park or play tennis, pickleball or horseshoes.

Omaha 3-story apartment

Comfortable home with plenty of room. Well-stocked kitchen. Needs a little more light on upper stairway. Nice location for dining, shopping and going to the zoo.

Love this property

This venue is spacious and comfortable. We love that dogs are welcome, as we have stayed here while attending AKC scent work trials. Our dogs are at the height of their sport and well behaved, so we love the trust that the hosts give us.

Great location and host

This property is in such an interesting area, a mix of neighborhood blocks with lots of people out walking. There are also larger facilities, such as hospital, that give the area bustle. Parks, coffee shops, eateries in walking distance. Short drive to a grocery stores. The place is so spacious and was quiet while we were there. I reported some missing safety devices and they were installed when we got home that afternoon!

Within walking distance is Turner Park at Midtown crossing which hosts live music events, flea markets and more throughout the summer. There are also myriad restaurants, a scotch bar, a movie theatre, Coldstone creamery and a local grocery store to name a few.
Blackstone is just a couple blocks to the west of Midtown crossing and features local restaurants, several of which have received national attention in publications such as Food & Wine, Diners Drive Ins and Dives, and more. Blackstone also has many bars, including a wine bar (Corkscrew) and a speakeasy (Osteria Segretto - if you can find it!).
