Cloud Cottage on Elk!

I'm a true local, having grown up in Crested Butte, moved away after high school, and have finally back after 21 years! I've lived all over the US, as well as overseas, but in 2016 I moved back from LA where I was working as an accountant for TV and film. Now I run my new company, Jamie's Jerky, with my father, bringing the world the best Grass Fed Beef Jerky and Turkey Jerky. LA was my home for 7.5 years(never thought I'd say that) and I lived in a great house where I started my first Vacation rental...I am really sad to have left that house, but it was time to move on. The last two years I hosted out of places I was renting, however, in 2018 I am finally a home owner in CB and can create a home I truly care about! I'm super chill and can't wait to share my new home in my old hometown with new people and new faces. Opening my house to new and returning guests brings a smile to my face... hoping you all can feel at home while on your vacation :)

Why this property??? Well, because it's in a great location and owned by a local! :) We are the Wildflower capital of Colorado... Join us for the wildflower festival every year mid-July. We also have the best skiing around. Mountain biking started here in Crested Butte and now we have an extensive network of single track trails and an app to track your routes. Plenty of camping and hiking and jeeping and relaxing and running and events and friendly faces!

This property is centrally located, being only 1.5 blocks from the bus to take you up to the slopes. And being on the main drag, you only have to walk west to hit all the shops and restaurants in downtown CB. It's 1/4 block to the town park for picnics, jungle gym, and soccer games. Very quiet neighborhood with local families as neighbors.
