The Snowcrest complex offers unparalleled views where it sits just atop a hillside across from the Resort base area. Just a short walk across the footbridge will give you access to the main transit center and the base shops, restaurants, and lifts. Relax after your adventures in the communal hot tub and grilling area with direct views of Crested Butte Mountain. 1 vehicle is permitted for outdoor parking. Outdoor parking is first-come, first-serve.

This 2-bedroom, 2 full bath condominium offers a unique and cozy floor plan. As you enter the condo, you're welcomed by a cozy living room with plenty of seating and unparalleled views of Crested Butte Mountain. Step down to the dining area seating for 6 next to the fully equipped kitchen. Bar seating for 3. There is an updated full bathroom off of the kitchen and dining area, as well as balcony access. The bedrooms are located on the second floor of this condo. There is a queen in the primary with vaulted ceilings, and a queen in the guest bedroom. Another full bathroom is located on the second floor as well. 1 vehicle is permitted for outdoor parking. Outdoor parking is first-come, first-serve.

The FREE Mountain Express Shuttle runs year-round for transportation to and from the Town of Crested Butte and surrounding areas. The Wood Creek Lodge is located on the summer town route schedule which is every 20 minutes; shoulder seasons every 40 minutes. In the winter, Wood Creek Lodge is on a special condo loop shuttle that picks up every 30 minutes and brings you to the base area. The shuttle is not needed for ski access when the West Wall lift is in operation.

Crested Butte Lodging & Property Management provides the basic comforts of home. Upon your arrival, you’ll find that we supply all linens, towels, and paper goods. This includes paper towels, toilet paper, starter shower kits, coffee packets with powder creamer and sugar, kitchen towels, dish sponges, dish soap, and dish detergent. If you would like to arrange housekeeping services during your stay, please contact our office to schedule for a modest fee.

The microwave was not functioning but the property manager delivered a separate microwave for us to use within an hour of being notified. The condo and management were very accommodating.

The highlight of this place is location, location, location! Nothing can beat the view from the property — absolutely magical. You could spend hours just gazing at the breathtaking Mt. Crested Butte without needing to go anywhere else. The condo itself was clean and well-equipped for a weekend stay. It’s a bit dated, but it has everything you need. My only small gripe was the spring mattresses, but that’s minor compared to the overall experience. Beautiful location and responsive hosts — would definitely recommend!

The stairs up to the condo are very narrow and it's a little cumbersome to climb up them with a bunch of stuff. Beds could use updating. Otherwise, it was comfortable and the view is great.

Comfy unit in awesome location

Very clean and comfortable unit with everything you need. Responsive and friendly management- but we only needed them to get Wi-Fi going on the first day b/c everything perfect. Super easy check-in and checkout. For the price, you really cannot beat this location. The walk to the base is no further than the walk from the Vail parking lot to the gondola. The view of Mount Crested Butte from your living room and front balcony can’t be beat.

Everything was just wonderful. Very easy access to the ski resort very walkable. Pro tip use the storage lockers at the base for your boots and you will appreciate not having to walk up the stairs.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo is located 5 minute walk from the lifts and bus stop. Although the unit is older, it’s very clean and comfortable. We had a few minor issues but the management was very helpful to resolve them. An area that could easily be improved is having basic kitchen condiments (salt, pepper, olive oil, fireplace starter, etc). We highly recommend staying here.

Great place!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The location is fantastic- just a 5 minute walk across the bridge to the base area for skiing. The condo itself is spacious and had everything we needed. Yes, it’s a bit dated, but we found it delightfully quirky. The hot tub is at the end of the outdoor hallway from the condo and was perfect after a long day of skiing. I slept in the bed facing the front of the condo, and the bed was pleasantly firm. My children slept in the other bed, so I can’t speak to its comfort.The only thing I would note is that the directions given by the rental company to get from the parking lot to the condo were confusing. I would recommend taking the stairs at the south end of the complex, turn left, then the stairs up to the condo will be on your left.

Nice kitchen set-up with all the kitchenware and utensils you need to make dinner. Easy access to free shuttle bus to go downtown. Nice fireplace with wood provided for use.The Internet was not working while we were there and CB doesn’t have the best cell service, but management said they’d look into it at checkout so hopeful it is fixed for the next guest.

Long ski weekend

I thought that the place was very clean. It was a great location to the base. we were very close to the bridge to get to the base. The hot tub was clean. There were often many people using it. The wood burning stove was out of order which was a bummer. The coffee maker did not turn on. I did not call management about it. There were a lot of steps so this place is not accessible for people in wheelchairs or who have trouble walking or steps. Overall it was a comfortable place. The views were fantastic.

I could walk to the restaurants there which was very convenient. The condo is an older one, and I had a few issues when I first arrived, but the management company was very responsive and fixed everything but the TV (issue was not their fault), which was was not resolved during my four days there. But I didn't mind, as the internet worked and I had my computer! All in all, a nice few days on the mountain.

Narrow steps lead to the front door but the steps leading to the bridge to the base village are less daunting than we at first thought. Nice to not have to rely on a bus. Heated floors were a treat once we figured out (sort of) how they worked. Received response from rental agency to a problem. Quiet location. Disappointed that the wifi had no password and was open to all.

Ok, but needs a renovation

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The kitchen is user friendly. The master bedroom has a window which helps keep that bedroom cooler but the spare bedroom has no window/ventilation. Thankfully, there is a fan in the unit as well as a ceiling fan. The mattresses in both bedrooms sag so we didn’t get a good nights sleep. The downstairs shower needs a shower curtain that isn’t too long as water leaks out of the shower onto the floor. The location is A+.
