TAKE A BREAK...Watch the change of seasons from our Log Cabin in gorgeous Woodland Valley. Step onto a huge wrap porch and deck that you may enjoy the cool breeze, take in nature and the beautiful mountain views.

Cabin is filled with charm throughout. High vaulted ceilings in living room with 2 skylights. Open kitchen and living area so makes it fun to gather and make a great meal, play games or just 'chill'. 2 spacious bedrooms, each with 2 windows to feel the breezes blow. The wood burning fireplace completes this 'a little slice of heaven'. Drop off your skis, hiking boots, or mountain bike...just kick back and relax.

Fabulous Catskill Mountain location, minutes from the town of Phoenicia, Woodstock, Hunter Mountain and Belleyre ski resorts. Just one mile from the village of Phoenicia where you can obtain a fishing license, have pancakes at the now famous Phoenicia Diner, or enjoy sitting with Davy Crockett at Brios while you are enjoying the best brick oven pizza around.

This house in Woodland Valley in the Catskills is delightful. There is thoughtfulness and warmth in every room. Whatever you might need- they have provided it. The hosts were responsive and helpful.

We were never able to get through to the cabin as there was an accident and only 2 actual roads in, Both closed for 8 hours. We contact the host who were in the same position trying to get to another residence nearby, they were well aware of the impossible situation. I felt the listing should've have been more open about it's incredibly limited location, and the host only offered one day, (cleaning and damage deposit obviously since we never arrived). I asked for 2 day refund out of 3, they refused. This cabin is literally in the middle of nowhere, I would HIGHLY recommend researching this area before renting. We have a cabin in the mountains of Tennessee, remote but accessible. Nothing like this nightmare. We lost 2 days work,4 days (850) car rental and drove 8 hrs total for nothing but stress,and still only received 1 night refund. Horrible experience

Holiday Weekend Getaway

The property is centrally located to just about everything you could want. It is a comfortable cozy cabin in the woods. Great for rest and relaxation. Unfortunately it rained most of the weekend so we did not get to enjoy the outside porch/deck areas. The only negative we had was that it appeared the property either had not been rented in a while or the cleaning crew did not do a good job as there were cobwebs everywhere, the towels in the bathroom were dirty and filled with pet hair and the fan in the main room was so dusty we didn't want to put it on. If the insides were better cleaned, we would go back.

Well equipped Catskills cabin

Nice 4 day stay. The cabin is centrally located in the Catskills which made travels easier. The cabin has everything you might need, including a nice woodstove.

beautiful sweet cabin

we had such a lovely long fall weekend at this beautiful sweet cabin. we were extremely happy with the cleanliness and the comfort of the bed. the kitchen had everything we needed to make cozy breakfasts and dinners. coffee on the front porch in the morning was lovely. the wood burning stove was also a huge highlight and heated the cabin amazingly. right after we left we starting talking about how we would love to come back in the winter. jackie was lovely and very efficient and quick in her communication. definitely would recommend to anyone :)

Dogs had a blast

From the pictures on line we knew ahead of time to pack our baby gates so that our dogs could enjoy the huge wrap around porch. We had a hard time getting them to come back inside, they were having such a great time. Cabin is a nice size for 2 people and extremely quiet. Husband got to work on his chess game while I enjoyed the outdoors with our 3 dachshunds and working on the book I'm writing.

Wonderful, Quiet Cabin

We thoroughly enjoyed this little house. Nice yard for the dog to run around in and a quick drive to town and the local state park and river. Would definitely go back again!

Very peaceful

We enjoyed a very peaceful weekend. The property is exactly as described and had a nice outdoor area that was perfect for the dogs. We would definitely rent again!

Memorial Day weekend retreat

Cabin was cozy and in a great location. It was equipped with everything we needed. We had a great time including our dogs. We loved exploring the grounds, the woods, and the town of Phoenicia. We will definitely consider renting from Jackie and Paul again.

Perfect! Covered porch, pingpong, and pool (billiards)!

We love being close to great hiking, great food, yet a cabin in the woods, where we hear birds all day and frogs all evening. Clean, beautiful, well-appointed cabin with owners who were always helpful.

Pleasant and clean property in great location!

We had a great stay at Jackie and Paul’s cabin! The cabin was clean and had all the amenities we needed. We loved the basement with a ping pong table and darts! Jackie was kind, responsive and helpful in my communication with her. The location is quiet and in a great spot near hiking trails. Thanks Jackie and Paul!

Peaceful Perfection

This was our second time and we loved it all over again. A cozy, comfortable, nicely decorated cabin with all the amenities. A beautiful and peaceful setting in the woods but convenient to restaurants and shops. Lots of hiking trails nearby. Huge wraparound porch to sit and stargaze from at night. A much enjoyed bonus— a pool table and a ping pong table in the basement.

Cozy comfortable cabin, great location

We had a great time at the cabin, which is well-maintained, clean and in a great quiet location. Loved the hiking nearby and the proximity to Phoenicia. The kitchen and home overall is well-stocked with everything we needed, and wood stove was great and kept us warm in the evenings. It was too cold the enjoy the deck much but I hope to return again in warmer weather to do that too!

Nice stay in the Catskills

Nice cozy cabin with an expansive deck served as an excellent extended weekend retreat. Kitchen is very well stocked. Pretty setting and fun game room down in the basement. Good location close to Phoenicia and Kingston but a bit off the highway to enjoy quiet surroundings. We enjoyed it very much.

Fantastic Upstate Getaway

The cabin is absolutely perfect. Immaculately clean and in a lovely, quiet area. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway in nature, this is the perfect spot. Great communication and recommendation from the host as well.

What a Gem!

A cozy cabin in a beautiful and peaceful setting. The eat in kitchen was well stocked with supplies and the bedrooms were comfortable. We loved the huge deck the most, and spent hours there with morning coffee, happy hour drinks in the afternoon, watching the sun set in the evening. Lots of interesting hiking and exploring for our dog, who was quite interested in the rabbits he saw. Another much enjoyed bonus---the pool table in the basement. Jackie provided detailed information and clear instructions, and was easy to communicate with, making our stay a perfect one.

Everything you need and get away

The property is enchanting, with access to dining and essentials minutes away by vehicle. The cabin is cozy and warm with secure and quality windows throughout, easy to use and perfect for letting just the right amount of breeze through. The kitchen and dining area are thoughtfully stocked with dishes and cookware, the bedding cozy and snug. All in all this cabin will likely become a tradition for my son and I. A great place to make memories.
