Summary:
Beach Villas at Ko Olina is about a couple miles stretch of coastline in this resort area. Four lagoon beaches that is shared with Disney Aulani, Four Seasons and the Marriott Vacation Club. But, the Beach Villas sits on "Honu" Lagoon which is basically exclusive. So, not so busy in comparison to the other lagoons.

Wonderful condo in great location

The property was great with 2 pools and a lagoon. We were near the quiet pool so very little noise. The lagoon was also great for our kiddos with easy swimming. The condo was beautiful and had almost all we needed. Pots, pans, and some cooking utensils could be updated and the dishwasher didn't do the best job every time. Overall, would highly recommend!

Overall, the property and location was great. Some of the front counter staff could improve their customer service skills and the parking garage was difficult to use. Just about every spot was for compact cars, but most of us were driving SUVs or vans.

Wonderful vacation property

We recently got back from a great vacation at Ko Olina. The property manager was responsive. We loved the unit, which was clean and had everything we needed. The views from the lanai were great, and the extra beach toys in the closet kept our kids happy and busy. Appreciate the hospitality of the hosts and would recommend the place to anyone.

Great condo situated between Disney & Marriott Vacation Club. No on-site restaurants but close to other hotel restaurants and a high-end strip mall with restaurants. Beautiful sunsets on this side of Oahu! Do give yourself extra time to deal with Honolulu traffic!

Peaceful reprieve with comforts and convenience of home

Stayed with my two kids and the grandparents and found it to be wonderful unit with a fantastic lanai and kitchen. Would have loved to have more baking supplies (no oven safe baking dish in the unit) but pots and pans and the grills down by the pool are all we really needed. So lovely to have a washer/dryer in the unit. Fantastic cabinet of pool and ocean toys for us to use. The ocean tower is so serene and quiet and not crowded like au lani and we loved it. A perfect family escape. We did have issues with being assigned a compact parking space for our mini van. Feel bad because the condo staff messaged the Vrbo host and was going to get fined and they paid for us to get a bigger stall. Very kind. We had a fantastic stay and can only dream to return to the beautiful Ko Olina beach villas

Overall, we were very pleased with the unit. However, when we arrived at almost midnight to the condo, we were very annoyed and tired. The cleanliness of the unit was not up to our standards. For instance, the pull-out couch was full of crumbs, the carpets were dirty, the toilet seats were gross - covered with pink stained cleaning supplies, the guest bathroom had hair in the shower and mold on some of the tiles, the walls were dirty and scuffed, and there was a cheap 99 cent bathroom soap in the guest bathroom which was 3/4 empty and had to be filled with water to even use. We spent an hour cleaning the unit when we should have been getting to bed. Some of the furniture different from photos, dust everywhere. Some of the bedding looked yellowed and dirty too. The ceiling fan pull in the guest bedroom was removed. Also, the air conditioning seemed to turn off during certain times of the day, like it was being controlled by a phone. The bedding for the pull-out couch was a joke, no comforter, just a thin blanket. Pots and pans dirty - lazy things we noticed that should have been done. We needed to purchase (25) a new parking spot because the spot assigned to us was SO small. Positives: The unit is amazing, perfect view, conveniently located. Not a warning to avoid this unit but be prepared if it is not clean - which the property manager said he would do a deep cleaning after we left. PM was communicative and helpful - brought things from Target and offered partial refund.
Dirty and scuffed walls in the guest bedroom, in need of re-paint. PM said it would be hard to repaint since place is booked all year.

Enjoyable Ko Olina Vacation Stay

Overall, we were very happy with the property and our vacation experience. Several comments for suggested improvements. 1) I wish the tourists also staying at the Beach Villas were more respectful and were compliant with the mask requirements. Many walking through common areas like elevators and the lobby areas did not wear masks. 2) Some of appliances in the kitchen need attention, such as the refrigerator was so hard to pull open, the dishwasher did not clean very well and the garbage disposal was pretty loud when operating. Also cabinet hinge screws need to be tightened and the faucet drips alittle. 3) Some of the documentation needs updating - and examples include visitor parking. The tag that hangs on the rear view mirror states to use code 0000 - but the guest must really check in at the front desk to gain access. The Wifi network and password on the instruction document was incorrect and I finally figured out the correct info by looking on the back of the router. Again, overall we enjoyed the week at the Beach Villas and the convenience of the location and nice facilities were great, especially with little kids. I have rented here on several occasions and would certainly do so again. Mahalo !

Perfect layout and location for family of 4

This was our first stay at Ko Olina. Rick and team delivered as advertised. Also, a shout-out to Louie for helping us with a couple special requests. The condo was just perfect on several fronts. We are a family of two adults and two older teen boys. Having a bit of room to spread-out in this unit was great. The layout allowed for a lot of privacy between the bedrooms and main living area. Also, this unit is situated to allow the breeze to flow through. Many units at the beach villas donā€™t seem situated for that. The trades were blowing during our stay, so we were able to enjoy natural cooling for part of each day. Being beach-front was ideal. As was the ability to walk to excellent restaurants and shops. We were told the beach villas occupancy was close to 80% during our visit. Yet it never felt crowded or overly noisy. Even our particular lagoon wasnā€™t packed. We found a shady spot every day. We would definitely recommend this property to others seeking a high-end resort feel with the amenities of home.

Wonderful Vacation

This place is perfect! The grounds are beautiful. The quiet pool was great! Everything is so clean and taken care of. The lagoons are perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Location is away from the busy city, but also an easy drive if you want to go to other areas on the island. The villa was also amazing. Itā€™s in the corner of the floor so there is never heavy traffic or people running by your door. Perfectly furnished, comfortable beds, a lot of room. Everyone there was so friendly and helpful. We needed a late check out and it was no problem. I would recommend this wonderful place to anyone wanting to visit Hawaii!!
