Nice residential area, downhill to shops; uphill back. Need a certain level of fitness but plenty of Ubers at a reasonable price. Well equipped kitchen, maybe a little too much .

Great location with a fantastic view of the ocean and valley: west facing so you get the afternoon sun and sunset. The apartment is "as advertized". Really well suited for 2 couples with 2 large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

The location is perfect. So close to everything in Cascais Centre, restaurants, markets, bus and train terminal, museums, art galleries and the beaches!!! There is beautiful path that you can walk down to the main road. It ends at the market. The condo was wonderful, well kept and had all the amenities. I definitely recommend this condo. The property manager was always available.

Lovely, bright apartment

A lovely colourful apartment. Very comfortable. All the requirements for an easy relaxing visit to Cascais and Lisbon. The welcome was perfect from arranging pick up to a lovely welcoming selection of food and drink. There was always someone available to ask questions, although we didn't really need anything extra. Thank you.

The apartment was bright, nice, clean, and spacious, just as shown in the pictures. The beds in the room with two single beds were quite hard to sleep in. The apartment is located in a nice area with short distance to both shops and restaurants. Unfortunately, the check-in was not good. There was no local host to welcome us as promised, and the email providing us with all the codes for the entrance door and the key was received only after the reported arrival time. This caused some uncertainty at the beginning of our stay.

Wonderful apartment, and close to center.

We stayed in this spacious apartment for most of two months while looking for a place to live permanently in Cascais. The apartment is completely remodeled, and stocked with everything you need. It is spacious, and has a beautiful view of the adjacent valley, and the ocean. There is ample parking available if you come with a car. If not, the Cascais train station is about a 15 minute walk, and the historic downtown about 5 minutes past that. Two grocery stores are even closer. We would certainly stay here again!

Exceptional. Great for families. Good location. Comfortable amenities and nice beds.

This apartment was very comfortable and roomy. The kitchen was large and well stocked with cooking necessities to allow meal preparation and eating materials. Washer for clothes was nice to use. There was parking (street) for travelers with vehicles and close to the train station, Sintra (Pena Palace) and downtown Cascais. Supermarket was within walking distance (10 minutes). The beds were comfortable and the two bathrooms for three bedrooms was very nice to have. The host was very responsive to email communications and the on-site host was very friendly and had a wealth of information about the local area. We were a party of three couples and had a very enjoyable time. I highly recommend and would choose to stay at this property if we returned to the area.

Quick night in Cascais

We stayed at this nice apartment for a quick night while driving through Cascais. The apartment is in a large apartment complex and had parking onsite. It is outside of the main downtown area, but was a quick drive to where we could walk around the waterfront and downtown area. The place was clean and had everything we needed for our stay.

Perfect condo

So much nice things about this condo! The location is near everything (restaurant, cafƩ, groceries store) and only 15 minutes walk from the beach. The condo is spacious, CLEAN, and the kitchen is well stock. The view from the balcony is amazing. We felt very safe in the neighborhood and the condo. Lara was very helpful to answer my questions and she also help us book a taxi from the airport. I would definitely stay at Lara place again.

Een ā€œbelachelijkeā€ verbouwing!

Het appartement was perfect maar halverwege het verblijf werd er een verbouwing uitgevoerd met veel boor- en timmerwerkzaamheden. Verblijven in het appartement was daardoor overdag niet meer mogelijk.

Insgesamt wieder ein toller Kurzurlaub

Wir sind fĆ¼nf Ƥltere Damen die einmal jƤhrlich einen Kurztrip unternehmen. In diesem Jahr hatten wir uns fĆ¼r eine Ferienwohnung in Cascais entschieden und verbrachten dort eine wunderbare Zeit. Es war (fast) perfekt. Die Kommunikation mit der Agentur war hervorragend. Wir hatten ziemlich viele Fragen, welche uns immer sofort und zu unserer Zufriedenheit beantwortet wurde. Die Abholung und Zubringung zum Flughafen hat sehr gut geklappt. Wir hatten einen sehr frĆ¼hen Flug und konnten nicht sofort einchecken, jedoch unsere Koffer in der Wohnung lassen. Durch unsere Gastgeberin wurden wir aufs herzlichste begrĆ¼ĆŸt. Auch Ć¼berraschte sie uns mit einem Gastgeschenk, bestehend aus heimischen Kƶstlichkeiten (Kuchen, KƤse und Portwein). Die Wohnung entsprach den Fotos, sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Nur die Lage machte uns Ƥlteren Damen etwas zu schaffen. Nach anstrengenden Unternehmungen mussten wir dann immer noch den "Berg" erklimmen ;-). Wir hatten dann eben unsere Unternehmungen so gelegt, dass wir nur einmal tƤglich "runter" gingen. Und davon gab es mehr als genug: Die unkomplizierte und schƶne Bahnfahrt nach Lissabon, Lissabon bei Tag und am Abend. Wir fuhren mit den RƤdern entlang der KĆ¼ste, Ć¼ber die "Casa de Guia" das "Boca do Inferno" bis zum Surferstrand "Praia de Guincho". Flanieren auf der Strandpromenade bis nach Estoril, baden in der Sonne und im erfrischenden Wasser des Atlantik. Und dann Cascais selber, ein so schƶnes, sauberes StƤdtchen. Zum TrƤumen! Alles in Allem - ein rundum wunderbarer Kurzurlaub.

Feeling like home

As I thought to keep this address as a hidden gem, I didn't think to make a rewiew. But ... to thank Laura and Annabela for this very nice and comfortable appartment, I will let people know how this place is so pleasant : the appartement is beautiful, the rooms, the view are as the pictures show. It is well located, you can even stay without a car and be able to walk to the shops, city-centre, train-station, seaside and beach. The rooms are large and bright, all you need during the stay is provided. It was absolutely clean and comfortable. Annabela and ... oups don't remember the name - who welcomed us were very kind indeed. As the weather was very windy for a few days we couldn't stay on the balcony, but the dining-room has large windows and a nice view so we were not so disapointed. Maybe should not be recommended with small children who could stain the white chairs and sofa ... Thank you for this lovely place, where we would be happy to stay again.

Beautiful apartment

We stayed 11 days with another couple. Enjoyed striking out from our home base to Lisbon, Porto, Sintra , Estoril, and Douro River Valley. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance. Several super markets and a mall close by. The beaches are lovely. Walking up the hill to apartment not too bad...and helps work off the delicious meals.

Fantastic stay in Cascais !

Stayed here with my wife and daughter. Very comfortable property. Had every amenity we needed and more. I would not hesitate to stay here again. The owner is an excellent communicator and we couldn't have felt more welcomed on a vacation stay !! My only complaint is that we didn't get to stay longer. Ted

Cascais is lovely town

We very much enjoyed our vacation in Cascais. The weather was almost always bright, sunny and mild. The town has a lot to offer with a number of museums, many restaurants, movie theater. It is only 30 minute train trip to Lisbon which is very inexpensive. Our hosts were very warm and welcoming. Thank you Anabela and Joa! We did appreciate their tips about restaurants and wine. The apartment is lovely. I especially enjoyed the sunny afternoons on the balcony with a wonderful view. It is up the hill from town but easy to get taxi if needed. We found a trail from the area up by LIDL down to market easier to walk. Lovely area!

Great property in a great location

This was a lovely flat but unfortunately there were two serious issues which I am sure can be resolved but which I feel I must mention. The electricity tripped out all the time just by having some lights on & then turning the dishwasher on for instance. On our last evening, we had a friend for dinner & it tripped out around ten times. Secondly there was a huge amount of smoke which arrived via the chimney when one of the neighbouring flats had their open fire lit. Now I have unpacked my suitcase, I realise that all my clothes smell of smoke & will need to be dry cleaned. It is a real shame because the apartment is delightful & well equipped but these two issues do need to be resolved.

Wir haben die Ferienwohnung Anfang Oktober 2018 mit 5 Personen gebucht. Die Wohnung ist sehr gerƤumig, sauber und voll ausgestattet. Die Wohnung liegt in einer ruhigen Wohngegend (Sackgasse, kein Durchgangsverkehr). Cascai Zentrum, StrƤnde und Jumbo Supermarkt ist alles fusslƤufig erreichbar. Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin und der Managerin vor Ort war sehr freundlich mit schneller und zuverlƤssiger Kommunikation. Wir kƶnnen diese Ferienwohnung sehr empfehlen.

Lovely three night stay in Cascais

We enjoyed our stay in Cascais. Lara was a wonderful host even though we did not meet her in person- she had her friend Anabela and her cousin JoĆ£o give us the key and show us around. Anabela even babysat for our two little girls one night so my husband and I could go out to eat. The place is very clean and modern. It is about a 5 minute Uber ride to the main area of Cascais. We chose the place because imof the space. It is very spacious! It has everything you need and the air conditioning worked amazingly well which is important to us Americans! There are also two bathrooms which is very nice. Would highly recommend Laraā€™s apartment. Super comfortable!

All the luxuries of home and more in a fantastic location

We had a wonderful stay in this spacious and very well equipped apartment. Lara ensured that we had everything we needed including the optional extras she provided of organising a taxi from Lisbon and buying in a grocery shop for us...lovely touches! Anabela was there to greet us on our arrival and had put together a lovely welcoming spread of food, a nice surprise! Everything you need is provided in this apartment from hand soap and washing detergent to condiments and sauces. It was refreshing to stay somewhere with a dishwasher, washing machine and microwave (all the luxuries of home not usually provided in a holiday apartment). The location of Cascais is fantastic too. Lots to explore locally and a beautiful old town. The apartment is located at the top of a hill which after a long day of exploring can take it's toll on the legs! Ultimately though, the lovely view you have on your return to the apartment makes it worth it! Thank you Lara and Anabela for making our stay so enjoyable.

The peace and quiet were second to none - imagine getting woken up by the sounds of sheep!
