Just a note on the current Covid 19 situation; We *Sanitize* our vacation rentals according to the CDC guidelines with safe practices like: Masks, Gloves, Bleach, washing on Hot, and a whole lot of obsessive cleaning! Our places are very safe to stay and enjoy without worry. Durango is currently partially open with masks required in all public spaces. Restaurants are open with social distancing in place.

Airstream Luxury. Originally used as a hunting and fishing lodge on a lake in Colorado, this one of a kind classic has been restored to its former glory. A complete and meticulous renovation with no detail overlooked resulting in a better-than-new condition. We have named it the Silver Fox.

Surrounded by the old orchard and looking at the La Plata Mountains you will find peace and quiet with stars shining so bright you can see the Milky Way across the night sky. There is a fire pit, and a pond complete with a small doc for crawdad fishing, or just to listen to the frogs chirp in the evening. A short 9 mile drive to Downtown Durango offers so much to explore and so many restaurants to choose from. Or just relax and explore our farm. We have horses, mules, cows, chickens, cats and the best farm dog ever.

The Airstream has two beds, one full and one queen plus. We have appointed it with nice linens bedding. There is a toilet, and a hot shower. Maple cabinets, gas stove, microwave and refrigerator. The interior has hickory flooring and gleaming polished metal. So warm and cozy with electric heat, and A/C. Marshal stereo with blue tooth rocks the Silver Fox! and pairs with the TV hidden in a cabinet, perfect for cozy movie night. There is an awning and an outdoor dinning table under the trees. Glamping at a whole new level of Lux.

Loved our time at the Silver Fox!

The property was peaceful and relaxing with breathtaking views. The trailer was clean and cozy and we can't say enough about how gracious and pleasant Holly, our host was. Highly recommend!

Lovingly cared for, clean, well equipped trailer in a gorgeous setting. Lots of fun details and friendly host who answered my texts quickly. It was a bit far from downtown Durango but we knew this ahead of time. The only drawback was the toilet became inaccessible once the second bed was assembled. Perfect place for a single person or couple not requiring a second bed. Main bed was large and very comfortable. Will happily recommend this location to others.

We were so happy to have gotten to stay in this cool place! It was very clean and comfortable and the owners went out of their way to make sure we had everything we might need. They even gave us farm fresh eggs!

So relaxing!

Quaint, well appointed airstream that is a cozy place to stay for a couple of nights. At this time of year the apple trees were full of fruit to pick and eat whenever we chose and Holly was so nice to bring us fruit from the farm as a welcome gift (amazing plums, pears, grapes as well as apples)! The porch and pergola outside of the airstream doubles the living space. We intended to go on a hike in town, but ended up sitting on the porch, reading and enjoying the great weather and views instead. S’mores in the fire pit rounded out a relaxing, peaceful day. Would definitely recommend.

Fun quick overnight with family

My parents, my 5yo, and I stayed one fun night at the Silver Fox. My only regret is that we didn’t have more time there. The Airstream was clean and comfortable. The new deck was the perfect place for relaxing and stargazing. We arrived late so we didn’t get to use the grill, but it was fully outfitted. When we woke up in the morning we had breakfast at the table under the apple trees, my kiddo then wanted to relax on the lounge chairs. I unfortunately didn’t get to meet the owners but my parents did when the Husband and son brought down a few extra solar lights for us. Pretty awesome night, and morning. Will definitely stay with these hosts again.

FANTASTIC!!

We came Durango and we’re staying somewhere else which wasn’t our style. I contacted Holly for last minute reservations. She was so accommodating. The property is awesome. The silver fox is awesome. We walked the entire 50 acres. Petting the horses. It was so relaxing. Very close to town. Highly recommend!

Wonderful stay!

Property is exactly as advertised! Beautiful orchard, lights on the path and in trees at night, loved the deck and pergola! Comfy bed, and potty/shower work great but place is pretty teeny :) Good for couple, room for an overnight bag under the bed. Very nice appliances, blue tooth speaker, electric fireplace, all the details were so special. Loved the farm fresh eggs and bread, and s’mores kit in the fridge! Hosts are very helpful. We loved every minute of our stay!

Property was just as described. Loved the bonus of fresh eggs and bread in the fridge!!

Loved how owners had set up the property and had the climate controls goings as we arrived after dark. Made us feel welcomed and even contacted us after we arrived to ensure we didn’t need anything further for our stay. It was easy to get the property, even when some of the signs had been blown down and we drove by the road. This would be a very fun base camp in summer. So appreciated the view and the peacefulness of the location.

Really adorable camper

This camper was very cozy for a group of 2 the outdoor space is unrivaled! The fire pit and porch is beautiful in the evening. The pond was very overgrown and muddy when we were there so didn't go near it. Worth it to note that the shower is not full sized and if you're taller than 5ft you will be hunching over a bit. The host and her husband were pretty responsive seemed to not check the vrbo messenger and were easier to reach by phone most of the time. Overall great stay and would recommend!

What a perfect getaway!

Dream stay in a fully converted airstream amidst apple trees and horse farmland! Tiny but beautifully decorated and complete with everything you could possibly need! I will definitely stay in this space again and look forward to enjoying the peace, comfort and serenity again. 💕

Absolutely Amazing!!!

The property is clean and well kept, the trailer is up to date with amenities to work remote. You can literally work out in the middle of no where via the internet and turn to gaze at the Milky Way Galaxy. The property owners are sweet and accommodating like a 5 diamond casino. My wife & I will be going back to the Silver Fox in the near future.

Great alternative to hotels in a crazy world

Very nice vintage Airstream that has been refurbished- very clean and comfortable. Great hosts! A very nice place to stay during a crazy pandemic world - a peaceful orchard with beautiful views.
