Ocean Front! Beautifully appointed condo is located in the West Building of Casa Del Mar, facing the sea with fantastic views of the 61st Street Fishing Pier. Whether a weekend getaway with the family or just some much needed adult time, youā€™re sure to find a peace of mind here, away from the city chaos. But just in case you do need to get some work done, please enjoy the granite topped work station. Just bring your laptop.

This newly remodeled cabana sleeps 6 with a Queen size bed in the bedroom and new Queen size sleeper sofa in the living room, along with 2 oversized bunk beds for the little ones. Fall asleep on our new Zinus 12-inch Memory Foam Mattress while enjoying whatever you like on the new 52 inch Smart TV.

Updated bathroom with new tub surround tile and rain water shower head accompanies full size tub for the kiddies to stay clean.

The central living area features new cool tile floors, leather sleeper sofa with new 5 inch memory foam mattress, and large rattan chairs. A large flat screen Smart TV to browse your favorite shows and free Wi-Fi. On quiet evenings in, open the glass doors to reveal a private balcony with sweeping views of the Gulf of Mexico.

The kitchen features beautiful granite countertops and every appliance youā€™ll need to cook breakfast, lunch, or dinner with your family. There are two bar stools for grabbing a quick bite, as well as an intimate dining table with two additional seats.

Morning coffee on the balcony while watching the sunrise is unmatched. Dine on a lovely wrought iron, ocean view height table with two more rattan arm chairs or just relax and take in the ocean view.

Don't feel like cooking! Not a problem, in walking distance you will find restaurants with various cuisines, attractions and shopping galore!

Some of those great locations include Tortuga Mexican Kitchen, Ginoā€™s Italian, Cajun Greek, Yamato Japanese, Rainforest CafĆ©, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co, Salt Grass Steak House, Landryā€™s Seafood House, Kittyā€™s Seaside Cafe and Millerā€™s Restaurant an iconic location to the Galveston Seawall.

Just some of the attractions nearby are The Galveston Seawall, The Pleasure Pier, Moody Gardens, Rainforest River Adventure Ride, Bike Rentals & Colonial Paddleboat rentals and last but not least Schlitterbahn Water Park.

The resort was as expected. Getting out the one exit was challenging with the highway in front. Convenient to stores for getting supplies. Some distance to the tourist areas.

Perfect Getaway

This condo is directly across from the beach and has a wonderful view! The interior is well appointed with anything you may need - plenty of towels, cooking supplies, and beach toys for the kids.

Couldn't have picked a better ons

Not only was this place extremely clean, it was right across the street from the beach. Our host went above and beyond and left us custom-made beach towels to celebrate our wedding. We chose this spot for our honeymoon and honestly could not have chosen better. The bed was extremely comfortable the pillows were great it was cool and exactly the right amount of space for the two of us. We recommend this place to any couple looking for a vacation close to the beach.

Surprise

Condo was everything and more we could have asked for! Had everything we needed to cook in, view was perfect overlooking the ocean, 2 beach chairs, beach toys, plenty of condo towels and pool towels, pool was great, property keepers kept the grounds super clean, trash cans in hallways were so helpful. Internet was even pretty good for streaming and gaming for my kiddo! Communication was great with host! We will def stay again!

Perfect balcony view

Great location, beach across the street with beach rentals, plenty of parking, remodeled condo, lots of little things included to help with stay. One thing to know, bunk beds are very small and perfect for kids. Nice pull out sofa and comfy. Queen bed is very comfortable. Bring extra toilet paper. They provided shampoo and conditioner and body wash which was a huge plus. They have extra comfy blankets as well. Bring your own beach chairs if you have more than 2 people bc rentals are expensive. Nice large fridge. kitchen is small but well equipped and has stove and oven and microwave that worked well. No dishwasher, to be expected. AC works amazing! Clean and balcony was out favorite!! Property manager was very timely and responsive and very helpful. We will rent from here again! Enjoyed our stay !

Owner and Condo are awesome!

Ms. Watkins was amazing! There was a glitch with the door code but I messaged her and she was right on it and fixed within 10 minutes or so. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Close to the beach!

Excellent location! Super close to the beach, shopping, grocery stores, and a short walk to the pier and attractions. Condo is well stocked, and clean. Nice touches all throughout to make guests comfortable. The view was amazing! A few snags that came up Ann was super responsive and fixed it fast. We will definitely stay here again!

BEST TRIP EVER

Me and the kids found this hidden gem on VRBO and so glad we did. This is our second time staying here and it wonā€™t be our last. Very welcoming, clean and quiet. There were games and a toys the kids instantly started to play with which was nice, and it had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathroom and the whole house was very clean! The linens smelled so good! The location is ideal for walking whether to the Walmart, delicious eateries, or local attractions.

Great condo with beachfront view

The condo was great! Our host was wonderful with very quick responses and helped with all our needs. It was nice having the table and chairs on the balcony to enjoy the scenery and providing beach chairs for the beach. We had a wonderful time!

Perfect for Small Family!

We have a family of five with infant. This was the perfect place! Clean, newly updated and adorable. Every space was utilized with a need. At first I thought it was a bottom floor property but itā€™s a first story property which gave me so much ease for safety reasons with children. There are two very clean pools which was refreshing and the entire property was well maintained. Directly across the beach and the walk was bearable, we even came across for lunch daily. Highly recommend this property. Thank you for a great stay!

Great little spot

The property was a little smaller than I expected but it worked out for our little family. The view from the balcony is really nice. Itā€™s close to the beach and we enjoyed our times at the pools. The property owner was easy to contact and was very accommodating. Thanks for the stay.

The condo was beautiful and very clean which is SUPER important to me! The bed and sheets were very very comfortable and i slept like a baby! The kitchen is somewhat small and there is no dishwasher which surprised us a bit so be ready to wash some dishes if you cook. The view was spectacular and location was ideal. Also, bring your own body soap- none was provided in the shower. The size of the condo was perfect for 3 of us (2 teenagers and me) but if you have tall ones They might not fit on the bunk beds. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. Lovely!!

Nice get away

We booked this trip last minute and it was a great property that had everything we needed to cook breakfast in the condo. Good view and enjoyed watching the sunrise and being able to walk across the road to the beach. Property manager was easy to communicate with and made sure we were taken care of.

I purchased this property back in 2011 and did a complete remodel, a more recent remodel in 2021. Now it's a breezy dreamy updated ocean front unit with a perfect view of the ocean. I love sitting on the balcony have morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening.
