Additional Notes
Pool maintenance occurs Monday and Thursday afternoons and takes about 20 minutes. Gardeners come Thursday afternoons.

Pets are welcome with prior approval. A maximum of 2 pets per stay. Pets must be house-trained, well-behaved, and kept off furniture and beds. Please clean up after your pets and do not leave them unattended.

A security camera is located above the garage and a Ring doorbell monitors the front for safety.

City of La Quinta ordinance: No amplified music outside. Please keep voices at a respectful level outdoors. Fines for violations may be substantial and guests will be held responsible.

Parking: Do not park in front of neighbors’ houses. Use the garage, driveway, or the front of the house. Please get approval if you have more than 3 cars.

Incredible property & hosts! The pictures don’t do it justice - it’s the perfect desert getaway.By far, one of the cleanest and well-maintained properties I’ve ever booked. Pool & patio are amazing - but indoor games and activities made our weekend complete.Close to restaurants, walking paths and more if you want to leave the property (although I’m not sure WHY you would!!!)Hosts are incredibly organized, friendly and responsive. This house has everything! And, it's even prettier than in the pictures! It has lots of well thought out amenities. Very comfortable and roomy. We enjoyed our stay so much that we didn't bother to go out except to the store! Skip and Monica are great hosts and at communicating information. Thank you both for sharing your wonderful home! This was our second time staying at this property. You can't beat the location! We love walking to Old Town La Quinta and having access to the bike trails. Everything you need is at this home. The beds are comfortable too! Waking up to the sounds of birds and watching them at the feeder was also a highlight. We will be back!!

Very well-equipped and well-provisioned with lots of pool towels, all sorts of kitchen ware and appliances, coffee, tea, pool toys, etc. Probably the best provisioned rental we have ever stayed in. Clean, spacious and comfortable with all king beds! The hosts were very responsive to all messages and kindly accommodated our request for early check-in, and allowed our dog. Great location. We especially appreciated the park and fitness center right across the street and made good use of it. The 5 day use fee was well worth it.

This home was immaculately clean, well furnished, and surprisingly cool through our second week of an unseasonably hot, heat wave. The pool table, dartboard, pool and hot tub were all enjoyed. We contacted our host Skip, a handful of times throughout our stay and he always responded quickly, taking care of our needs. We like to hike/walk with the trails nearby, making this location convenient. We highly recommend the Bear Creek Trail and Cove Trailhead. Thank you Skip and Monica for our enjoyable stay!

Lovely place in great location

My wife, sister, and I really enjoyed our stay at this property. The place is very comfortable and attractively decorated. It is well equipped-- the kitchen was great, etc.We really enjoyed being close to La Quinta Old Town, and the host was very responsive and helpful.

Birthday get away

Had a fantastic weekend golf getaway with a few friends for my husbands birthday. House and pool were perfect for our stay!

Old Town Fun

Property was very nice, had all the necessities well thought out. It's location to Old Town was perfect walking distance.

Skip, a retired Vice President of Commercial Lending, dedicates his full time to managing their 4 vacation rentals and long-term properties in California and Texas. Monica, a former Dental Hygienist, brings her passion for design, art and decor to their vacation homes.

Together, they strive to create unforgettable experiences for their guests. Their love for hospitality is reflected in the little details in their homes and their friendly, approachable demeanor. With the help of professional cleaners and a dedicated hospitality manager, they ensure that their properties are always in top condition, providing their guests with ease and comfort during their stay!

In their free time, Skip and Monica enjoy exploring the great outdoors, from walking on the beach daily from their home in Huntington Beach when they aren't working on their homes, to hiking, rollerblading and riding their electric beach cruisers. They are always on the lookout for the best local restaurants, art exhibits, music venues, hiking trails and experiences to recommend to their guests and friends. We have another property in La Quinta called the Cove Cottage that is just a short distance from the Monarch. We have two properties near Joshua Tree National Park: Hidden Gold Ranch House and BlackRock Luxury Lodge

You'll also have easy access to OldTown Village, which is enriched with an array of excellent restaurants, including Arnold Palmer's (Arnie's), Stuft Pizza, The Grill on Main, Lavender, Enzo's, and many others.

Golf enthusiasts will appreciate our proximity to the renowned La Quinta Resort and many world-class golf courses, including SilverRock, PGA West, and sweeping mountain views. Just down the street at Fitz Burns park, you'll also find new pickleball and tennis courts, as well as a skate park for the kids.

Whether you're looking for relaxation, adventure, or both, our property offers the perfect home base for your stay.
