Enjoy the best of Rhode Island in this newly updated bright 800 sqft. cottage in beautiful

South Kingstown. Located off Middlebridge Rd. on a quiet dead end street close to Narrow river

and nature/bird preserve. Narragansett beach just 5 minute drive away. Nearby towns include

Narragansett, Jamestown and Newport.

This home was completely updated in 2018. It offers 2 bedrooms, one at each end of home.

One of which has a single bed and is small, which would be great for children.The other bedroom

has queen bed and separate closets A galley kitchen with bar opens to kitchen table and large

family room. Washer and dryer located in storage room. All rooms have independent AC/heat. !

Skip the parking lot and rent a kayak on Narrow river. It is a 5 minute walk away from home. Bring

a lunch, catch the tide and float or paddle to Narragansett beach.

Perfect Stay in a Great Location – Can’t Wait to Return!

We had a fantastic stay at Lisa’s place in South Kingstown! The location was perfect, close to everything we wanted to see and do, yet peaceful and relaxing. Lisa was incredibly easy to communicate with and always responsive when we had questions. The listing is exactly as described —clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and are already planning to come back. Highly recommend!

Cozy House on Quiet Cul-De-Sac with Great Location!

We have vacationed in R.I. for years, and this was our first time ever renting a house (rather than a hotel room). Host Lisa Mello provided everything we needed, and the house was very comfortable (A/C worked well, nicely appointed, had washer and dryer, etc.) and responded very quickly to any of our questions, before and during our stay. We loved the proximity to Narragansett, Point Judith/Galilee, Charlestown and Newport, and would highly recommend this home to a small family or group of friends.

Very quiet efficient house

Husband and I stayed a long weekend visiting family living near URI. It’s adorable and nicely decorated. It is perfectly situated for beach access, yet far enough away from tourist mayhem. It had everything we needed for 2. But we never ate there. Very powerful air conditioning during heat wave. Loved the patio. It was an extremely quiet neighborhood. Parking is great off street. Room for 2 cars. Bed in tiny bedroom is firm. The mattress in the master bedroom was downright floppy soft. It was fine for my spouse with a good back. Cons: The house has paper thin walls even on the outside. You would have a hard time with more than a couple or one child. I would be worried renting during colder months. The floors have some funky steps between rooms. Someone with balance and walking issues would be challenged. It was musty smelling despite full time a/c being on to dry the air.

Other than the soft mattress our stay was wonderful. I would suggest a booklet with info on trash, TV and washer dryer location, nearby restaurants and activities. We did not need these but could prove helpful to newbies in Rhode Island

Lovely 2 Bedroom house!

This 2 bedroom home was a perfect size for a couple of people or a family of 3. The couch is also very comfortable and could easily accommodate 2 more people if needed! And the beds are comfortable. That is always important to know! The decor is updated, and the place is clean. You will not regret booking this home away from home. Thank you for a great stay!

First family vacation

Such a special first family vacation spot! The house is perfectly located for access to the beaches, Newport, and URI. We loved having our own local spot to explore and enjoy. The house had everything we needed and the bed was so comfy!It was great for our 18-month old son too. Would definitely rent here again!

This property is a great little gem! Very clean, updated and just and all around great place to stay

I had a fantastic time renting from Lisa, a wonderful host a great home perfect for that mom or anyone else out there who needs a mental health break, some quiet time to just sit, read and enjoy all of the beauty that the river has to offer. The area is perfect, nice and quiet I couldn’t have asked for a better mom getaway! This would also be perfect for couples or people who have small kids. The river is one of my favorite spots and if you’re looking for something close but not far from all of the wonderful things that South Kingstown,Narragansett and South County has to offer this would definitely be something you should look into. I will be renting again!

Wonderful Getaway!!

This home was so wonderful! We needed to get away and this home offered everything we needed. It was impressively clean when we arrived. It is not one of those places where you wonder when the last time anyone went through the drawers was! It had just enough dishes, just enough utensils, and all the appliances you need without going overboard. The boys slept in while I worked remotely until afternoon, then we went to the beach! We ate out a few places - and ordered take out a couple of times. Everything was wonderful! I highly recommend this lovely home! I wanted to just stay there!

Sparkling clean cottage getaway!

We were so happy to find this charming rental in South Kingston, just minutes from everything we wanted to do in the Narragansett area. We had been a little nervous about traveling during the COVID pandemic, but the place was sparkling clean and had everything we needed. Lisa was great to communicate with before we arrived, and we were able to let ourselves in with the keyless entry. Within just 10 minutes drive, we could go to Moynahan’s Clam Shack (which had some of the best lobster rolls we’ve ever had!), Brickley’s ice cream (totally delicious, with homemade waffle cones), several beaches and pleasant hikes (the Whale Point Reserve was our favorite), and kayaking/paddleboarding! Narrow River Kayaking (just 5 minutes away) looked fabulous, but might require calling a couple days ahead because they were all booked up the day we wanted to go — so we just drove 15-20min to to Jamestown and went kayaking along the bay shore there. When we were tuckered out for the day, we returned to the cottage and relaxed on the comfy sectional couch & enjoyed the giant living room TV (which came with cable). The kitchen is small but fully equipped with all the pots/pans, plates/bowls/utensils, toaster oven, blender, and a microwave. The bathroom also had shampoo/conditioner and a hairdryer. The beds (one queen/full-sized in the master bedroom, and a twin bed in the little bedroom) were comfortable, and a perfect setup for a couple with one kid. (Though I imagine another kid could also comfortably sleep on the living room couch). All in all, a perfect stay! We would totally rent here again next time we wanted a Rhode Island getaway!

The Ocean State!

We had a wonderful stay at this small but perfectly renovated and well-appointed cottage! It was conveniently located to the Narragansett beaches, the Block Island Ferry, and a short drive to Newton. We enjoyed everything about our vacation and only wished we could have stayed longer. Hopefully we will be back.

The house was perfect.

I enjoyed this stay with my husband and our daughter and my niece. It was perfect. Had everything we needed and short drive to the beach. Also was perfect to stay in on the rainy day and watch movie and play games. We cooked a lot and had everything we needed from pans to an awesome grill. Would definitely be back when we go to Rhode Island again. Host was quick to answer any little questions I had. Thank you for letting us enjoy your beautiful home.
