WELCOME TO SANDY SHORES
PLEASE NOTE WE HAVE A 7 NIGHT MINIMUM STAY DURING PEAK SEASON JUNE 13 -AUGUST 22nd
A perfect getaway on the lake. Located on a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan just 5 miles North of downtown St. Joseph. Which include wineries, breweries, restaurants, golf, and spas.

This 5 bedroom 5 bathroom stunning contemporary lakefront home offers upscale vacationing with unbeatable views of Lake Michigan. Floor to ceiling windows offer panoramic views of the sunrise and sunsets on the lake.

The interior of the house has a very modern feel. The main level has a fully stocked beautiful kitchen with an ample island and plenty of seating for everyone with living space that opens out to a deck with seating and grilling options and a hot tub for relaxing.

Main floor also has a queen bedroom with full bath. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms with king beds and ensuite baths all with views of the lake. Primary also has a soaker tub. The 3rd floor has a deck with amazing views of the lake and also great for stargazing at night.

Lower level has a bedroom with 2 full beds and attached bath. The open living area also has a-trundle bed and plenty of seating great for kids to hang out.

This is the perfect spot for a weekend trip or a vacation with family.
Its close to all the attractions you wish for and far enough away to give you the privacy you need.
Enjoy the sun setting over the lake from one of the two upper decks or just relax in the hot tub after a day in town.

Beautiful Place

Rented house for my husband’s 50th birthday. Comfortable, clean and beautiful views. Lots of golf courses nearby. Owner efficiently communicated instructions prior to our arrival. Would highly recommend staying here. One of the nicer places we have stayed!

Great place for a reunion

We had 10 high school friends together for a 70th birthday celebration. Very comfortable house with great gathering places. Lots of fun things nearby including BEAUTIFUL beach at Jean Klock Park.

Amazing Stay with a View

Our family spent time enjoying the house and the view. There’s nothing I would change - we enjoyed the modern and updated facilities. The views of the lake were beautiful, and the sunsets were amazing. Location was perfect. We visited St. Joe, South Holland, and New Buffalo. Would recommend and we would stay again.

Beautiful and Great Lake View

The house was nice and modern with great view of the lake. The rooms and bathrooms were great for our party of five couples and the host was very responsive. The one thing to point out, you can’t just walk to the lake, but there are great beaches just a short drive away.

Family Vacation

The property was beautiful and had everything we needed. The owner was responsive. We only wish their was direct beach access from the property. We had booked thinking that it was that way, but there are many beaches nearby. We would definitely stay again!

Great lakefront getaway

As soon as we stepped inside, we couldn't stop talking about how nice the house was, as well as, the view! The floor to ceiling windows throughout the house let so much natural light in and there was plenty of room inside and out for everybody to hang out.

Excellent for Large Groups

This property was not only stunning but was so comfortable for our group of 11. Each family had their own private room/bathroom and the common areas were large enough for all of us to enjoy time together. We are a group that loves to cook so we put the kitchen to the test and truly enjoyed our stay. The water views and the sunsets were spectacular. Great memories.

Beautiful home

The home was beautiful and perfect for our family. The kitchen and bathrooms were stocked and there were balconies on each level. We do wish there would have been some outdoor furniture on the upstairs patios or that some of the large trees werent in the way of the lake view. Overall it was a really nice place to stay!

Luxury on the Lake

This luxurious property was exactly as pictured and provided our family of 12 an elegant and comfortable place to gather for a week in St. Joseph, MI. 5 bedrooms, each with their own bath was beyond words. Questions were answered promptly by our Premier Host, Bernadette during our stay. Wonderful memories were made and this might just become our annual future family meet-up destination.

Beautiful House & Stunning Views

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home that came updated with all the amenities you could want. As great as the property photos look, they don’t do the house justice, especially the amazing sunset views from the rooftop deck where we watched every sunset. The property is secluded but you’re only a short 5-10 minute drive to the beach, shopping, and dining in St. Joe’s. Everyone in our group - our family of five and our friends, who are a family of four - had a wonderful time. Hope to stay here again!

Great Stay

Gorgeous modern home! The owner was super easy to talk to and reasonable. No cleanliness issues at all. Although the functionality of the outdoor built-in speakers during grilling or ceiling speakers for films would have added to the experience, it did not impact the overall excellence of our stay. The views were incredible. Overall, highly recommend!

Perfect place to celebrate new beginnings

We wanted a place to share with friends and family during our wedding festivities in Michigan and this place did not disappoint. We loved the large living and dining areas and that every couple was able to have their own en-suite. The kids stayed in the lower level and enjoyed the privacy the space offered. We had a little trouble connecting to the TV, and the hosts were very responsive when we contacted them. The views from the patio were divine and we enjoyed the hot tub a few nights as well. A beautiful place to spend our special week!

Our large family gathered here in Michigan for a family reunion. There was lots of space for all of us and this house more than met our needs. It was great having the extra refrigerator in the garage. My mother was in a wheelchair and was able to get around on the main level with no problems. We had one small issue on our first night and the homeowners took care of it immediately! Very attentive and easy to communicate with. We used the backyard and deck a lot! The views were incredible! I miss them already. The hot tub was used several times and we all enjoyed the beautiful fire pit. The house was immaculate upon our arrival. We cooked in most every night using the kitchen and the grill outdoors. Take advantage of those sunsets from the rooftop! You won't be sorry.

Beautiful location - lacking a few things

The house is beautiful and the location is great. It was very comfortable. We wish there were more outdoor chairs. We were a group of 9 and there were only 8 chairs. There is also a 3rd floor deck with amazing views but no furniture to sit on to enjoy the view. There was no toilet paper in two of the bathrooms. We were bummed that there was no access to the beach. We went to lay our mom to rest in St. Joseph and overall it was a great stay.

Nice property, but uneasy feeling during our stay

This is a very nice house, and we had no problems. However, we were left feeling uneasy during our stay due to inside/outside security cameras, an abundance of rules, and the recent negative reviews regarding damage to the property. It is stated clearly upon check-in that the cameras are off while guests are on the premises, but there is no way to be sure. We spent a lot of time on the back deck, and after a while, we just assumed we were being watched or recorded by the camera that peers down. The check-in/check-out process is clunky as it requires a garage code, an alarm code, and a code to retrieve the house key from a lockbox. After reading a few negative reviews about guests accused of causing damage, we purchased the VRBO insurance policy, just in case. We also felt that the cleaning fee was excessive, considering that the 10 of us spent 2 hours preparing the property for the cleaning crew according to the stated rules. Check-out is at 10 am, so be prepared to spend your morning getting the house ready for the next set of guests. The place is fantastic, and the views are great, but our group spent most of our time slightly stressed out about the cameras and all the rules.

Hello Matthew, There are no cameras turned on at the property while guests are there. Sorry that you had an uneasy feeling. They are there for security purposes when the property is vacant. As far as the check in and check out details, We just ask that guests follow simple house rules as the cleaning crew have limited time to prepare the property for our next guests. We want every guest to have the same quality experience at our holiday home.
