This is a beautiful, clean home in a nice quiet neighborhood. It has all the amenities with everything you need for a fun and relaxing stay. The hosts are great to work with and are eager to ensure that you have a great stay. You will love this house!

Amazing Get Away Place

Great Floor Plan. Open Concept. Nicely Decorated. Loved the Kitchen and family room. Loved the huge Master Bedroom and bathroom. Wonderful back yard with pool and Hot Tub. Hosts were very accommodating and responsive to our needs. Would stay there again. Highly Recommended.

Amazing Property

We've stayed at many VRBO homes that are not as nice in person as advertised. This home is exactly as described. Loved the open concept, large dining area and yard. The pool was warm even with nightly temps in the low 40's. The neighborhood is quiet, safe and modern. Kevin and Christy were readily available to answer requests. Overall excellent experience!

Great home, but a few issues

The home was nice and well stocked. The quality of dishware, glasses, silverware, cookware, bakeware, and utensils were very good. Having a gas stove, basic staples and ample spices was great! The home was further west and a ways from shopping, restaurants, and activities than we expected, even after seeing similar comments in other reviews. The reason we accepted the location was because our primary focus was to have a heated pool. Upon arrival, we found the pool heater was not working properly and the pool was too cold to use. Although the owner was responsive and tried to get his pool company to fix it, it took 3 weeks (75% of our stay) before we had our heated pool, thus the 3 rating on listing accuracy. We requested a partial refund of what we thought was a reasonable amount based on research, but the owner offered less than half, which was extremely disappointing since we rented for a full month and it was the primary amenity in the decision for this property choice. VRBO did give us additional compensation for our inconvenience. The home was clean, the beds were comfortable, but the couch was not as the cushions do not stay in place. The other disappointment was the condition of the grill. It looked like it hadnā€™t been cleaned in months and even after trying to burn off the layers of char, we ended up purchasing copper grill mats to cook on. The owners response was that his cleaner was great, just didnā€™t clean grills.

February Working Vacation in the Desert

We had a great stay in Tartesso. The house is very roomy, comfortable and clean, and is located in a quiet area. We were there for 18 nights in February and used the home for both work and play. The extra office space in the home was a plus for us. We had two other couples join us for a short stay and we all enjoyed the backyard, heated pool and hot tub, especially because the weather was just so wonderful that weekend! The house is large enough that each couple had adequate privacy, including their own bathroom. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware, utensils and serving dishes. The home is located on the far west side of the West Valley in an area that is a 15-20 minute drive to gas or grocery, so advanced planning was needed. However, the Tartesso community has nightly food trucks that visit the area, and that was helpful and fun. Due to construction on I-10, we learned to find routes to avoid travel on the interstate. We drove south of I-10 on S Palo Verde Road toward the Buckeye Airport and then weaved around to the East (with the assistance of Google maps) to get us to Watson Road (Walmart, Frys Grocery, etc.). We also discovered that Sun Valley Parkway was a hassle free road to the north around White Tank Mtn., which was a nice, easy route to the Surprise/Sun City area. We golfed and enjoyed both Wigwam and Palm Valley golf courses (both just off Litchfield Road). We did not get to try Sundance (which is likely the closest golf course to the home), but we heard nice things about the course from others. Our favorite meal in the area was at Saddle Mountain Brewery. Tailgaters Sports Bar, Haymaker (great breakfast), Redā€™s Bar & Grill (at Wigwam) and Times Square were also quite good for casual dining. White Tank Mountain Regional Park is awesome with many trails and picnic areas. We went to the Westgate Entertainment District one time and that was a 45 minute drive. Old Town Scottsdale is much farther away. The location of this home, especially as the construction on I-10 subsides, is suitable for all planned activities west of Glendale.

Two Time Winner!

So goodā€¦ā€¦ we came back!!! Clean, spacious, heated pool and hot tub were a hit. Quiet west valley location. I-10 construction almost complete to Watson Rd will help to smooth the ride outā€¦ Communication with host was very easy. Highly recommend to folks coming to west valley.

Beautiful Clean Home

We just loved the home and it was exactly as described plus so much more. The kitchen was extremely well stocked along with other household amenities. Kevin & Christy made communication so easy as I had trouble with the Vrbo app. Very quiet and beutiful neighborhood. The bedrooms are beautiful with very comfortable beds. The closest shopping was about 20 minutes away in good traffic and as a group their was only one car so planning meals was a must for us. But we came to relax, be lazy and enjoy the beautiful pool and hot tub! I highly recommend Kevin & Christy home to all, you won't be disappointed!

Peaceful Retreat

We loved every minute of our MN winter escape! This home is beautiful, very clean, has all the amenities you could want and the owners are there every step of the way. I would highly recommend this property and owners. I can't wait to go back!

Chisty and I live in Seattle, and have have 2 beautiful children, we fell in love with the home in Tartesso as soon as we saw it. We knew that we could share our love with others. We had the house and pool built knowing that we would have many guests enjoying it.
