Fun in the Keys

Home was perfect for adult family of 5, both condition and location. I’ve been to Key West before and knew what to expect being so close to everything. Near all activities we wanted including bars, restaurants, fishing charters, etc. We highly recommend this home and would stay here again for our next visit

The place was exactly like shown on the app. It was clean and very spacious. For future reference it should state that the entrance is the side door and not the front. Highly recommend.

The location was great for what we wanted to do. We had no wifi the entire weekend which made it very difficult to plan our vacation. We called and texted multiple times with no resolution. This was frustrating. The pool was dirty but cleaned same day. Not enough toilet paper. Fans and air conditioner very old and noisy. A mirror fell off the bathroom wall and smashed our bathroom items. Vacasa texted often but were of no use. Overall disappointed for the cost of this vrbo. Doubt we will book again here or with vrbo.

60th Birthday Celebration

If location is high on your list I would recommend this property. Although it is older ( I believe built in the 1930’s) it has great charm and is close to everywhere you want to be. We walked everywhere and were so close to Duvall street we were able to enjoy all it had to offer. The pool is heated which is great for December.

Had an absolute blast in Key West! From the vibrant sunset celebrations at Mallory Square to exploring the historic streets of Old Town, every moment was a treasure. Bars on Duval Street, and the laid-back island vibes made it an unforgettable.

Key West Done Right

The rental had 3 bedrooms with2 having queen beds, and the other had 2 twin beds and lots of entertaining rooms. Great furnishings and the private pool was perfect and used each day for a couple hours of recharge. The location is the best and I would say is perfect, perfect, for adults as everything is walking distance. You can also hear live music from the nearby bars. We loved it

Very Nice House, GREAT Location!

House was very nice and roomy. Clean, nicely decorated, lots of space. Beds were comfy and the pool was wonderful after a hot day out and about. Live band played each night at restaurant/bar on other side of back yard privacy fence. We enjoy listening to live bands so it just added to the ambiance of hanging by the pool. Location was fantastic!! Short walk to restaurants, bars, shops, attractions, and Mallory Square Park. Only downside...downstairs shower was a little tight.

Excellent location to all the action!

Check-in was seamless, very clean bathrooms and bedrooms and the parking and house were very nice. The pool we did not use as it was filled with some debris...possible from high winds but maybe more attention to this is required. The house needs some TLC as it needs painting in bathrooms and powerwashing outside...but hey, your in Key West!

Beautiful Home in the Middle of Everything

We really loved this home, only a few issues - first was the noise from the bar behind the house; although it stopped at 1am, the heads up would have been nice. Second, there was construction on the front of the house which started at 7am so sleeping in wasn't an option. The third was no locks on the bathroom door; the downstairs bathroom has adjoining doors between the two bedrooms and NO LOCKS. This caused some issues between two of the couples staying with us and really should be addressed for future residents.

Great Location - Not So Great House

You can't beat the location, but the house really needs a good cleaning and some updating. Corners, baseboards, walls, furniture was pretty dirty. The downstairs shower has such little water pressure that it was unusable so 6 people had to share the upstairs shower. The house had some sort of bug infestation. We were all bit up and it was happening inside the house. We also think that we got sick from the tap water. Some of the furniture was actually falling apart, especially the outside furniture. At least buy some new cushions! Vacasa customer service was very good. They did deal with some issues quickly for us and called several times to check on us.

Needs Love

If I would have seen the house from the outside I would have never rented this home. There are no functioning exterior lights that light up the walk way. The front of the house has two or three air conditioners hanging out of the windows, the exterior has not been power washed for a long time and a construction sign at the front door to name a few. There was a cracked window in the main front door, the light fixtures don't match on the outside, and some of the exterior light bulbs were out. Inside the house: some of the glass globes on fans were missing, the slats on the downstairs doors were broken missing and miss matched. All exterior doors could not open without a lot of help. The downstairs toilet was not stable and moved side to side. Throughout the home was unfinished dry wall or peeling paint. The chair in the upstairs bedroom should be throw out based on the condition of upholstery. The upstairs balcony was dirty and unusable. The positives were the pool and cleanliness of the home. This place could be great but it is tired and needs a lot of upgrades and repairs. Based on the price and the condition of the home, I would not rent this place again.

Several Irritating problems reduced my rating

We stayed in the property March 20-23, 2024. Home was clean and spacious, except the shared bath is small. But several irritating problems kept adding up. Home is described as 219 Whitehead "Rear". There are two "rears". Walking into the back yard, you don't necessarily see the "rear rear" and we spent many frustrating minutes trying the code on the front "rear." Then, when we found the "Rear Rear" the 10 digit code would not work. More frustration. On the good side, however, a Vacasa guy, Rob, was prompt to come and give us a temp code. The description does not reveal that there is a bar venue immediately behind the fence where there is loud music until 11:00 pm or so at night. WIFi, "buggy" and difficult, if not impossible, to get on. Thankfully, I am an Xfinity customer and I, and more importantly, my grandson, were able to get on Xfinity. Very low water pressure on the ground floor sink and shower. There are lights above the dining room table where I sat up my work, but, guess what, the switch plate has no switch. The owners left no directions/suggestions sheet. Washer and dryer, yes, but you have to go around back into a garage. Pool is not heated, and was cool enough that we did not use. Probably would be OK in the summer months.

House is good but definitely a noisy spot. If you want any type of quiet sleep, not for you. But if you want a great location and a nice spacious place with a private pool, it’s great.
