This charming, one-bedroom, one-bath ground level apartment is just a stones-throw from Forsyth Park! Comfortable furnishings with a modern flair will have you “living like a local” on the Historic District’s famous Gaston Street. Located just a block away from beautiful Forsyth Park, this updated apartment is the perfect retreat for two or four Lucky guests.

Upon entering, you'll be greeted by a open space that offers a beautifully renovated galley kitchen, modern furnishings and a decorative fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped, so you can enjoy breakfast from the comfort of your home-away-from-home. The dining area is open to the living area, which offers a comfortable couch, and a large flat-screen TV. The bedroom has a Queen bed, and lots of closet space so you can settle in during your stay. The bathroom has a large tiled walk-in shower, and a lovely vanity where you can get ready for a night out on the town.

Savannah’s top eateries, including 700 Drayton and Clary’s, are all within a five-minute walk from..... Spend some time browsing the antiques at Alex Raskin’s, or tour the famous Mercer-Williams House on nearby Monterey Square. Get a taste of eating local by picking up fresh ingredients at the Farmer’s Market on Saturdays in Forsyth Park.

What is parking like for this home?
You have one assigned private parking space directly behind your apartment. Any other parking for this home is on-street and metered, which is enforced by the City of Savannah from Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. Guests are encouraged to either purchase a pre-paid parking pass from the Savannah Visitor Center, or park on a nearby non-metered street. Guests should be wary of the posted Sweep Zone signs.

We had such an incredible couples’ night here! The location is perfect , close to everything and the apartment was absolutely beautiful, clean, and cozy. We’ll definitely choose this place again every time we come to Savannah! Highly recommend it!

Fourth of July Vacation

My wife and I enjoyed a pleasant stay at this rental. We especially enjoyed the off-street private parking and the proximity to Forsyth Park and the downtown area... We would readily recommend this rental to other vacationers.

Great stay on Gaston!

The apartment was perfect! Well appointed, clean and walking distance to everything! Off-street parking a bonus also. We will be back, loved this quaint getaway!

Forsyth Park getaway

Great location next to Forsyth Park and a short walk to the dot bus stop or the trolley pickup. Would stay again.

Nice place in a perfect location!

Property was exactly as described and depicted. Comfortable space, GREAT shower, very convenient to have the in-unit washer dryer, and having a designated parking spot reserved in the parking lot behind the unit was key. The location is right across from Forsythe Park, and a short walk to lots of great bars and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again when we return to Savannah.

Perfect

Our Lucky Savannah apartment had everything we could possibly need. It was located across from Forsyth Park, about a mile walk to River Street and walking distance to stores and restaurants. It was perfect to celebrate our 30th anniversary. We look forward to staying there again.

Anniversary Vacation

We loved that this was situated across the road from Forsyth Park. It was easy to access Kroger, River Street & the Historic District. The traffic was somewhat overwhelming at times and the streets were narrow. We were thankful we had private parking. This was a big plus!

The location of this property is great for a trip to Savannah. You are right next to Forsyth Park, so very easy to walk anywhere downtown. You also get 1 parking space, which is fabulous, as it can be difficult to find parking sometimes in downtown Savannah. Overall, the stay was fine. It's a small place, but there are only 3 of us, so suited us just fine. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was a good size and it also had a nice little living room area and kitchen, although we didn't really utilize those. The host was a little less responsive than we would have liked. Also, the air conditioner lower limit was locked at 70, so we were pretty warm during the night, as we like it a little cooler while we are sleeping, especially in August. Overall a decent stay and would recommend, but I would allow your guests to lower the air temperature a little more. :)

Very nice

The unit was right next to Forsyth Park and walking distance for all of the historic district. It was very clean, the bed was comfy and the shower was amazing! Would definitely recommend.

Great location

Never had to move the car once parked on site. Forsyth Park was so close to us & the bus stop also. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go - even the river front. Love that is was a ground unit - no stairs to climb.

Great location!

Great location especially for those who enjoy walking. Having our own parking is great too. The only complaint would be that the sofa is not real comfortable and seating is limited. A nice sectional might be better.

Great location

Located next to Forsyth park was great. Went to the park on Saturday and got to see lots of vendors plus weddings going on. Having a dedicated parking space was nice as well. Plenty long hike to Broughton street but if you like walking it’s a breeze.

Reviewer Comments: Wonderful location: we greatly enjoyed being one block away from Forsyth Park (and a wonderful breakfast spot) and within walking distance of many historical sites. We has an issue with the key pad, and the management was very responsive and hospitable and resloved the problem promptly. The interior is a bit basic, but similar properties were nearly twice the price. The space was just enough for my partner and me.

Your property was in a great location. It served our purpose very well. It would have been nice if the AC unit had worked. We had vacation plans with friends so packing up out things and moving to another unit 1/2 way through our visit wasn't one of the plans.

The weekend getaway we needed.

Property was as described. Once we got there we parked the car & didn’t move it until we left. Definitely a plus! We walked everywhere. It was just the weekend getaway we needed. We had some good food and fun. Looking forward to going back. One downside, I wish there was room to have a sitting chair in the living area. Another positive, I expected to hear noise from the apartments around us and we really didn’t. It was very peaceful considering it was downtown.

Fantastic location, beautiful city!

Had an amazing time in the city for new years eve and day. The place was very affordable and had everything you could need. BUT there were Cockroach 🤦‍♂️! Female friend could barely sleep because of it 😬. Shower did not drain properly/ drained slow. Water was did get very hot which I loved! All and all just needs pets control.

Great Location, Safe parking

Very clean and well maintained, and located across the street from Forsyth Square, the largest. I suggest booking on the weekend, and take advantage of the Farmers' Market at the park. I'm 71, and the stroll to River Street was informative, beautiful, and doable, with benches, shops (check out SCAD exhibits!), bars, and restaurants along the route. Parking was well lit and monitored by security cameras. As typical of Savannah weather, rain showers came and went. I would suggest creating a walkway between the paved parking area and the rear patio, to avoid tracking dirt and leaf debris into the bedroom. I might also add that a sleep number bed would be a definite plus. Finally, if you arrive tired and hungry, order delivery from Screamin' Mimi's Pizza. Yum!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The experience was good once we were in the room, however; the property is HORRENDOUS. To start:1. there's an arrow pointing driving direction onto the property but not a legitimate exit. 2.Parking lines are not clear 3. Building is FILTHY 4. The outside ceiling is/was cracking and plaster falling onto the ground outside our slide door. 5. Never found assigned garbage cans. 6. No TV in the bedroom. 7. The room was very clean and presentable

Love for Savannah

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I stayed at Gaston Green in downtown Savannah. This condo was very clean and very cute. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Nice, big shower was a plus. The couch was not comfortable, however, we didn’t sit on it much. The condo was walkable to many places. I loved how close it was to Forsyth Park. Another huge plus was having an assigned parking spot in the back. The only issue we had was when we came back from a walk, there was water all over the bathroom floor. The company sent out a maintenance man right away. We thought the water was coming from the toilet, but, turns out it was from the washer. They were supposed to send out the man again the next morning, however, with it being our last full day there, I called and told them they could wait until we left the next morning. I just didn’t get to do anymore laundry. But, I was okay with that. Overall, we had a lovely stay and I would definitely book this place again. P.S. I am now in love with Savannah!

Reviewer Comments: We have been staying at the Forsyth location the last couple times we have been In Savannah this is the second rentalat this location we have stayed in with Lucky Savannah. They have great properties and we will continue to at their properties. The Forsyth Park location is our go to for convenience to the park, restaurants, grocery store , etc and the benefit of your parking space is a plus. This particular property is exactly as pictured and well maintained. Lucky Savannah has several properties at this location and you will not be disappointed. t
