Since other owners sometimes rent out their annual week, but have not purchased a "fixed week with a fixed apartment," I thought it would be helpful to explain that the biggest advantage of our apartment is that, since we bought a much more expensive apartment than the others on the top floor and with an extraordinary view of Oyster Beach Bay, normally we should have one of the best apartments.

So when we stay at MARIOTT JW outside of our purchased week, we will be lucky to get the best possible apartment through the booking service, while other owners cannot guarantee you that you will not be on the ground floor or near the common area or right next to the barbecue area where live bands sometimes play.

The 7-day stay (Saturday to Saturday) is a requirement set by the Residence; however, if you wish to extend your stay by one or two days, this is possible—either by staying at the JW Marriott Hotel at a special "owner's rate" or by remaining in the apartment. Naturally, the Marriott's rates are quite high and are in addition to the cost of your initial stay.

You can see on rental websites that 1 or 2 nights in a 40 m² double room at the JW Marriott (with no meals and no cooking facilities) cost almost as much as our 180 m² apartment, which sleeps eight people. Our apartment also benefits from the resort's maintenance and housekeeping services, ensuring a true vacation free from minor logistical hassles—no move-in inspections, no maintenance worries... In short, no practical concerns : everything is managed and taken care of by the staff !
