Great place and location. Beautiful view

This was very convenient for skiing and relaxing afterwards. The transportation shuttle service was excellent, both for reaching the slopes and going into town.

Beautiful condo with amazing views

We had a wonderful visit. The condo was as described. It was in a great location close to the ski resort and downtown. The views were amazing and the property was very comfortable and nice!

Awesome location, Beautiful Condo!

We were very impressed with the updated interior of the condo. It was beautiful! The location was was perfect as it was walking distance to restaurants and activities at the mountain base. The rooms were perfect for our family (the full size bunkbeds were amazing for our kids). We would definitely stay there again!

Good location, hot tub and view

3 adults on ski trip with a rental car.Pros. Spacious, Great view, hot tub and amazing shuttle service to mountain.Cons. Definitely not walking distance to lift or town as unit is on top of the hill especially after 5pm. Small master bathroom had a sink leak which could not be fixed during our stay. Managed by Retreatia and very complicated to get info on their website/app. Overall, good value and would book again but with a rental car

Overall, the place was good. We liked the updates done to the kitchen and living room area. However, the two bathrooms are in need of some maintenance. The faucet in the bathroom that was not attached to a room was falling apart. And the door turned in the wrong way. The bathroom that was attached to the main bedroom was small and the shower was dripping constantly & it kept me up at night. Overall, the place was conveniently located, but needs to have the bathrooms updated!

Great location

The property was really very good. We had to move the bed over so we could open the drawers on the bureau and found a lot of boxes of building supplies so had to move those over as well which left a lot of dust and dirt on the floor. Yuck! There were a few light bulbs which were burned out and a dripping shower head. Maintenance responded very quickly but couldnā€™t fix the drip because they were waiting for the shower head to be delivered. Not a big deal. Otherwise, the place was great.

Nice spot!

Great view and location. Definitely felt like they needed to furnish it better. There were no trash bags, salt, laundry bags stuck outside the door when we checked in. Also had issues with the pull out couch. Even with some of the hiccups we would stay here again!

Great stay

All in all we enjoyed our stay - the listing says 1min walk from the mountain and that is absolutely not the case. It is a drive or shuttle away. We also did not get our check in instructions and were waiting at the condo with no idea how to get in. They are responsive if you call which is helpful. Clean place and bigger than I expected.

Steamboat Springs July 4th, 2023

The view was awesome and the beds and furnishings were comfortable. Upon arrival we alerted the management to a few issues and they responded immediately. Drinking glasses, coffee mugs, salad bowls, soap dishes, etc. weā€™re supplied and a plumber was sent to check the leak/drip in the master shower and the dishwasher that had no power. Unfortunately the repairs could not be done over the holiday weekend, but I was assured they would be fixed. We were offered a small refund for the inconvenience.

Inaccurate information and poor follow up by property manager

This property is listed as having a washer and dryer. When we checked in we were told that it was a COIN operated. One of the primary reasons we chose this property is it WAS listed as having a washer/dryer. I was extremely irritated that the listing was wrong and I requested to be copied on the email from the property manager where the listing was corrected......so at least I could be assured it was corrected and future renters did not have the same issue. Upon checkout I again requested a copy of the email correction, I have yet to see such email or any correspondence saying that the listing was corrected. Hopefully I have just overlooked the email and this is not a matter of the property manager taking NO action to correct an erroneous listing. As a side note....the washer and dryer are in a SEPARATE building, its QUARTER COIN only, NO coin machine and requires a key to access....so... at least you have few worries about your laundry being stolen as you DRIVE to a store to get coins.... As for the unit..... It was recently renovated, still has supplies neatly stuffed under the bed, it was a nicely appointed and clean. The master bedroom had no place to actually put your luggage and the master bathroom was extremely small. As for the toilets, neither of them flushed properly, both had old worn seats. We had to call for help unclogging the toilet, which was corrected that same day; however, no follow up cleaning service was sent, so the bathroom was left a mess. But that's ok as I was able to replenish my quarter supply for laundry when I went to the store to buy bathroom cleaner to clean up after the maintenance person/plumber or whomever they sent.... The unit has a fantastic view and the shuttle service was awesome! The shuttle stops right in front of the building. The drivers were all very pleasant and prompt and good drivers. Personally I would not stay there again based on the the issues I mentioned. I would also be concerned about this property management company and their attentiveness to issues as they surface.

Views Great / Bathrooms & Property Management NOT Good

Bathrooms super outdated. At arrival, bathroom sink was leaking water on the floor when turned on. Toilet in the other bathroom ran continually. Property management company, Retreatia, sent someone the next day very late, wasnā€™t fixed until late afternoon. Add to this, we arrived at our unit to find the door literally left wide open twice. Property managementā€™s response was only that the maintenance people must have forgot to close the door. Beds are not comfortable at all. Common area and views are great!

Great cute place with great shuttle service!

We had a great time at this Vrbo and the shuttle service was so quick and useful! Never heard any neighbors and checkin/out was a breeze!

I would not stay at a Retreatia property in the future.

the condo was clean and had great views. However, there were several deficiencies. The outside light was burnt out so the entryway was dark. There was no washer driver in the unit but in a separate building. The hot tub was closed. There were no brooms or methods to keep the property clean during use.

Great location and view. Good amount of room as well. Listing showed a picture of a grill on the balcony and was really disappointed when there was not one. Also no cleaning supplies or even a broom to keep tidy

Nice place in very good location!

Everything was great except that out of the 2 bathrooms, one toilet never stopped running and didnā€™t flush well making it mostly unusable... I sent an email to retreatia re: the problem but never heard back from them...

Review of Yampa View Condo

Suggest fixing tile grout in master bath, replacing master mattress. Location is very good, parking was ample during off season, and close to amenities.
