This affordable, comfortable family-oriented home features beautiful mountain vistas and direct creek side access for the fly fishing enthusiast.

Only five minutes from the charming Vail Village and Vail Ski Resort or short drive to sister ski resort, Beaver Creek, the location of the home within White River National Forest presents unlimited options for outdoor activities and excursions.

The spacious south-facing deck overlooking Gore Creek provides for optimal relaxation as the rippling waters pass by. This idyllic spot will surely put a smile on your face while enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning as the warmth of the sun shines down, or your favorite glass of wine as the sun sets behind the picturesque peaks of Vail Valley.

When its time to hit the slopes, the bus stop is steps away from the driveway. The convenience of this location will have you at the base of Golden Peak/Vail Mountain within minutes.

The home features substantial windows for natural light. A large open kitchen with slab granite comes equipped with all of the appliances to prepare expansive meals for the entire family.

Ótima casa em Vail East

Ótima casa, o andar de baixo é sensacional, o quarto possui até uma sauna. Ficamos em 3 famílias, o ponto de ônibus fica há poucos metros da casa. Recomendo!

Very nice property. Great service. Groceries stocked. Super clean. Had all the necessary amenities. Bus stop just steps from the driveway made moving about Vail extremely easy. Our group of 8 adults and 2 children were extremely comfortable in this 5 bedroom, 5 bath house.

Perfect Family Vacation in Vail

The property was perfect for our family of 10 (6 adults and 4 children). The house was lovely and in a beautiful setting right on Gore Creek. The bus stops were close and convenient. Kaitlyn was a great host. She was easy to reach and responded to our questions quickly.

Great Stay for our girls trip!

Townhouse worked out very well for group. The multiple living areas allowed us to gather but when needed afforded private time. Kitchen was well equipped. Used the steam room multiple times. The shuttle bus proximity was so convenient; you don’t need to drive. Kaitlyn the property owner was VERY responsive. Thanks for helping to make our girls trip awesome

Spacious & Convenient

The house was spacious, comfortable and quiet. Our group included three couples and two singles and occupied all five bedrooms, which were spacious and had comfortable beds. The main floor and lower level allowed ample space for gathering. We were easily able to park 3 cars in the driveway. The local East Vail bus is free and stops just 50 yards from the property every 15 minutes which eliminates the need to fight for the limited and expensive parking at the Vail resort. When we had questions about the property, we received quick responses. The only item that may be a challenge for some is that the circulation between floors is a spiral stair. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again if we had a similar sized group.

Fantastic stay

This property was perfect for our large group with babies. The rooms enabled us to keep the babies separate so they could sleep. Beautiful deck overlooking gorgeous Gore Creek. We spotted a fox on two evenings of our stay. Really nice children's playground/park within 15 minute walking distance. Vail Village was charming with a pirate ship playground and some water wading areas for the little ones. First trip to Colorado and this was a great first experience, hopefully not our last.

Amazing photos, still don't do this place justice!

The title of this review is the main point I want to make. You can see from the listing that this property has everything you need, but what shocked me is that even though we chose this place based on a checklist of items (amenities, location, price, etc...) of course we still based our final selection off of the photos, the feel of the place, the environment we would be in. And with that being said, I was amazed when we walked in this home and the views were even more stunning than the photos could show. This house has a panoramic view of the beautiful outside nature scene behind the house, filled with pine trees, snow, river, and wildlife. It was the cherry on top of the cake. Everything about this stay was perfect.

Great location

We had 5 adults and 6 children staying here. Plenty of room for everyone and the lower level was a good play area for the kids. Having the creek right outside the door kept the kids busy for hours every day. We thought we would hear I-70 because the property is really close, but it wasn’t a problem. The spiral stairs may be a little scary for people with toddlers but our 6-7 year olds were fine. The 2 upstairs bedrooms were quite warm but the owner provides a portable AC unit and an evaporative cooler that cools them - but a little noisy. The lower level spa bathroom is pretty amazing! Our only complaint is that the water heater was set really hot - we had to be very careful with showers and washing hands & dishes.

Great house

We had a great time, there was plenty of space for everyone. The kids loved the living room downstairs, the steam room after skiing was great and the host was always in communication and giving us all the information we needed. Would definitely stay here again.

President’s week 2020

We rented the property for 5 days and had two families of 5. Kids were 5 boys and 1 girl ranging from 12 -18. The house was a perfect size for the group with enough space to give the kids room to have fun (ie Xbox) and the adults to have their own area. Amenities were up to date and everything was in good working order. Hot water was hot! Kaitlyn was very responsive to any requests we had and very accommodating. The bus stop was also very convenient. We had no issues getting to Vail village and back. The house was in East Vail. My one suggestion is that if you have younger kids that need help carrying equipment than highly recommend either renting a car or storing the skis in Vail village. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back.

Lovely home on Gore Creek

Beautiful home right on Gore Creek. The back deck was amazing, we ate dinner out there everyday. The shuttle made it easy to get into Vail Village, don’t miss the Farmers Market on Sunday! There are lots of good, short hiking experiences within 10-15 miles, and the wildflowers were so beautiful! We had 10 people, 7 adults and 3 children. There was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen has everything you need to cook for a large group. We cooked dinner every night, the outdoor grill got a lot of use. Our family loved our stay here!

Great location

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in East Vail. The house is in a great location. Kaitlyn was very accommodating. The check in process was very easy and we were able to check in early. We were there with 10 adults and there was plenty of room for everyone. A few things you should know. The only access to the basement and the second floor is a spiral staircase. We had a few people in our group who were not able to navigate stairs. Made things challenging, We were there in the summer. The basement is very cool but the upstairs was very hot and stuffy. Bunk room does not have windows and there is just a small window in the king room.

Spacious house, great location, responsive owner

The house has ample bedrooms, a nice kitchen and plenty of table and couch space. The house was well appointed and well supplied for the 8 of us staying there. The location is a 15 minute free bus ride from Vail Village, a nice feature during ski season when parking in the Village is $30 per day. We had a brief heat and hot water issue, but Kaitlyn responded quickly and effectively and had it fixed within a few hours on a Saturday. We would definitely stay there again; the place works during ski season and also during summer / hiking season.

Check in process was super easy. The house is gorgeous and spacious. We had 7 adults and 6 kids. There plenty of space for everyone. The house came with everything needed for a long stay. Except rice cooker :-). They had 2 kinds of coffee makers which is great! All kinds of pots and pans. Wish there was a hot tub though. That would've made a perfect day to soak your weary bodies in. We definitely would recommend this place for a large party. Will look to book in the future when we go back. We rent condos all the time in Whistler but so far this is the best accommodation we had . Forgot to mention that the owner left a basket full of assorted toys for the kids!

Perfect for our group, nice and easy

Our first trip to Vail, was a tad concerned about it being in East Vail as far as convenience, BUT it truly is on the free bus route, right out he front door, 30 second walk. We took that into the Village twice a day. The house itself was very nice, clean, luxurious. The downstairs shower is amazing. The bed count matches the description.
