Comfortable House on Gore Creek w Hot Tub

Enjoy the beautiful setting of this comfortable house situated on Gore Creek in East Vail. Relax in the hot tub with views of the high mountain ridges and waterfalls, fly fish from the backyard, catch the free shuttle bus to the ski lifts or bike or hike right out your front door. This comfortable 4 bedroom, 4.5 bath house has a large, well-equipped kitchen with counter seating for 4 as well as dining seating for 8. The master suite has a gas fireplace and attached bath with a sunken tub and steam shower and double sinks. The den has TV/DVD allows for extra space for kids entertainment or a private office. King size beds (1) King bed with attached bathroom in Master suite, Queen size Beds (4) Both the second and third bedroom each have 2 Queen beds, , Bunk Beds (2) Fourth bedroom has 2 sets of bunk beds.

The convenient location right on the Gore Creek  with private river access makes this house a great winter and summer choice when visiting Vail. Just steps to the Town of Vail bus stop, you will enjoy the comfort and ease of this sweet retreat. In winter, enjoy groomed Nordic Track, hop on the bus only minutes from Vail Village, dining, shopping and entertainment for the whole family. During summer months, enjoy all the hiking and biking trails

Comfortable, spacious, fun, family home convenient to Vail.

Nicely appointed home; great for families! We especially like the radio (tuned to the local rock station) in the well stocked kitchen, as well as sharp knives and beautiful bowls, which made cooking meals and eating at home more fun. House had games, books and plenty of household supplies. Convenient location to Vail shuttle and small food market across the street. You won’t need a rental car for local spots. Peter was responsive when we had questions. Make sure to check out the clear night sky!

Tons of fun easy to get to and had everything we needed. Host extremely responsive too. We would rent again.

Exceeded our high expectations in every way!

The listing had all of the features we needed in a house in Vail. It says there are 9 beds-Sleeps 10 because there's also a sofa sleeper in a 2nd floor office which we used. 9 beds plus pull-out. Lot's of extras. 2-car heated garage with opener. Games, cards, piles of videotapes and a DVR :). There's a Pack and Play in a closet. The kitchen is extremely well outfitted with everything we could imaging (except a Pizza Cutter). Lots of the little stuff you may otherwise buy like condiments, sweetener, spices etc. The hot tub is fantastic. Hot enough with settable temperature on a hidden panel on the far side of the tub. We had 7 adult men in there at one time which was a little crowded, but not uncomfortable. 5 people can use it in comfort. The management agent, Ellen McKibben is extremely responsive to email and answers her phone. It was an absolute joy to vacation in this house for a week and we intend to rent it again any time we have a large enough group.

Vail Family getaway

We had a fun filled week. The kitchen had everything we needed to fix wonderful dinners and feasting at the large round table. The back yard was so delightful enjoying the sound and views of Gore Creek.

Nice property and highly recommended

My family, total 3 adults and 3 kids, spent wonderful 7 nights with this beautiful house. It has everything a family would need and is very closed to Vail shuttle stop. Since I cannot ski because of my knee surgery, I also drove my family there. It would take less than 10 minutes driving. The property manager is very easy to communicate and super helpful. We had a very nice winter break there.

Well appointed & supplied kitchen !

We enjoyed our ski vacation stay at Bighorn Rd. great home and layout. Really nice kitchen with great equipment for cooking family meals. Plenty of space and beds, patio with hot tub and grill was awesome. Clean with plenty of towels. See you next year.
