Have Your North American Comforts in Paris

Looking forward to your trip to Paris, but not leaving the comforts of your home? Welcome to our USA style apartment in Paris which has been redone from the bare walls.

Two bedrooms and two fully tiled bathrooms each with their own toilets. All the hot water you want and plenty of pressure even if you're last to shower.

A full American kitchen with an eat-in area that has a view of the Eiffel Tower, as does the two bedrooms. There is a full balcony/terrace off the living room and dining room.

The apartment offers full windows on both sides of the apartment which gives you lots of light and views being on the eight floor.

Real air conditioning which is important (and which many Paris rentals do not provide) due to more and more summer heat waves. Besides standard co-op floor heating, there is forced air additional heat in winter.

Hardwood floors, separate washer and dryer, English TV, very fast Fiber Optic Wi-Fi and Ethernet cable. Need to stay in touch with family, friends or office, we offer free calls to North America (and France, of course).

All this in a modern, safe, quiet, and apartment complex (called Le Grand Pavois) in an up-scale 15th residential district - just a few minutes away from the Eiffel Tower and just 10-12 minutes to the Louvre/Place Concorde/Champs Elysees by the line 8 metro (Lourmel stop).

This is an area where real French people live and has all the bakeries, shops and eating places that they demand. You won't find over-priced tourist traps or backpacking kids knocking you off the sidewalks.

If you want to do your own cooking there is a large supermarket - with its own deli and bakery - on the ground floor of the apartment complex. There is also the local produce market stand twice per week.
Great for two couples or couples with kids.

We are US owners and operators, with an American property manager, and know what you expect in a rental property. Please read our reviews as they really say it all.

There is also a great walking or running area at the foot of the building where the old rail line has been converted to a nice green space.

What a great property! Views of the Eiffel Tower from both bedrooms and the kitchen is what made our family stay extra special. Alan, the property host come all the way in to meet us on arrival and was in regular communication even when he could see our flight was late. He gave us a great intro to the property and surrounding area to make sure we knew the ins and outs of everything. It was such a nice property and the perfect size for our family of 4. The supermarket was so convenient, and the metro line was very handy, although our first day in Paris, we walked everywhere, including to the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe and then back home again. It is a great neighborhood to stay in, and if we’re ever back in Paris, this will be the first property I look to book.

We stopped here on the way home from Greece, and which we had spent more time. Homey 2 bedroom 2 bathroom modern apartment withing Paris City limits. Mgr [American friend of owner tennis great F Durr's family] met us there and showed us around. View of twinkling Eiffel Tower and gold dome of Hôtel des Invalides as well as Generali Balloon ride from nearby park. Between Lourmel and Balard metro stations - buy tickets from a real person at Lourmel. Metro 8 to Pl Concorde/main tourist area. Truly enjoyed this neighborhood with great shops and quality restaurants [esp very convivial 'Le Point de Chute' but not touristy. Near Paris Expo Porte de Versailles [NOT Versailles Palace]/Le Dôme de Paris - concerts, etc. About 2 miles to Roland Garros for tennis fans, with some tennis memorabilia to see. Discounts for one week stay. We did not purchase the parking as we mainly used public transportation.

Everything about this apartment was amazing! Alan met us at the apartment at check in and went over how everything in the apartment worked. There is also a thorough guidebook in the apartment that advises everything you need to know about the apt and the area. The air conditioning was an absolute must and made the stay so much more enjoyable. The neighborhood felt like a local neighborhood with lovely cafes and a market on Wednesday with wonderful foods. We used Bolt or Uber to get places but the metro station was also very close. The most exciting thing is we watched the Eiffel Tower sparkle from the bedroom and got some great pictures. If you are looking for a place in Paris, especially when it’s hot, this is definitely where you want to stay!

Great Place to Stay

The location is very convenient. We used public transportation to see the city - metro, busses, tram -all an easy walk from the apt. The apt provided everything we needed. It was quiet and comfortable. The neighborhood provided shopping, bakeries, great restaurants and a small local farmer's market on Wed snd Sat with great seafood, cheese, and vegetables and fruit. The owner was easily reachable and provided great assistance. Highly recommend.

Great stay in Paris

We really enjoyed this Parisian apartment. It has all the necessary amenities and is quiet. Markets, restaurants and the Metro station are all within a couple of blocks. The property owner was very easy to work and communicate with. I would definitely come back.

Perfect place for a family

We came from US for 5 nights in Paris and it was a wonderful experience. We arrived late and paid extra fee to meet up with the property manager around 11:30pm. Our Eurostar got delayed (traveled from Paris) but he was gracious enough to wait for us to greet us outside of the building and gave us the explanation if the place.We encountered two minor problems in the apartment but he was able to help us over the phone both times. We felt very safe in the neighborhood and metro was very close (5 min walk) and easy to navigate. Having two showers was a big help for our family. The view from our bedroom was great. One thing I noticed was we heard some ambulances at night. I wonder if there’s a hospital nearby. But once we closed the metal shutter of the window, it didn’t bother us at all. Highly recommended!

Highly recommended

Location: this apartment is super convenient. Located in a metro line (ln 8) that gets you to a lot of the sites in a short amount of time. The neighborhood is also really convenient with shops (bakeries, cafes etc) and groceries near by. Property manager: communication with management was really easy and consistent leaving up to and on arrival day. We leveraged the airport transfer service option they provided. It was slightly more expensive than a tax, but after getting off a long flight, the last thing I wanted to deal with was how to get to our rental. The apartment itself was perfect for our needs. My kids are older 13 & 9 so they don't want to share beds. The 2nd bedroom has 2 twin beds, so great for families with 2 kids. All other living supplies were provided like soap, laundry detergent, dish washing fluid etc. it took some getting used to the other appliances, but it was nice having some of the aspects of daily living available during our stay.

Excellent stay south of Paris Center

Well equipped property just south of Paris city center. We enjoyed this property - quiet, safe, easy accommodations near by (market, cafes, bakery, etc). The property manager was very attentive and quick to respond. We greatly enjoyed this property.

New Year’s in Paris

My family of five had a wonderful holiday in Paris! The apartment fit us perfectly and the location was great to get to all of the sites (the metro is just down the street). We really enjoyed watching the Eiffel Tower sparkle at night right from the window! Also- Alan was great with communication and setting up our airport transfer as well!

Worked great for multi-generation group

The 12 year old was in love with the night time view of the Eiffel Tower, my mom appreciated having her own room and bathroom, and I appreciated all the fantastic and clear communication from Alan in advance and during our stay. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location

Nice apartment in a great location. Close to metro stops and taxi stands. Wonderful restaurants and bakeries nearby. Also, it was very helpful to have a grocery store on the first level, we used that a lot as well.

Easy check-in; Great location

We really enjoyed our stay. Alan, the property manager, met us outside the property. He took us up to the apartment and showed us around, and how everything worked. We didn’t need anything during our stay, but he was very easy to contact. The property was close to the metro, supermarkets and restaurants. The apartment had lots of space for us to spread out. The kitchen was nice to make quick meals and coffee in the morning, which we drank out on the terrace. We really enjoyed our visit and would definitely stay here again.

Lovely home, short walk to Metro

Comfortable beds, located in a quiet area away from the tourist attractions, but close to Metro and taxis (and e-bikes!) when you want to get somewhere else in the city. Full supermarket on the ground floor was very convenient. Would stay here again.

Great place to stay

Apartment had everything we needed. Comfortable beds. Very secure and quiet. Loved having a large grocery on the ground floor of the building-super convenient. And a fabulous bakery was so close! Close to the metro & bus. Used the van service to go to airport -on time & easy to use -highly recommend! Alan met us on arrival & showed us everything about the apartment. Overall was just what we needed.

Perfect place for a Paris getaway

We had such a great time in Paris, and having this apartment made our stay that much better. Alan was so helpful and communication was so easy. We had a great view of the Eiffel Tower light show every night, and having a living room was so nice, compared to a cramped hotel. Two full baths made getting ready each day so much easier with a family of four. And, the supermarket on the first floor was so convenient. We used the Metro every day, which was only 2 blocks from the apartment. We'll definitely be staying here again, the next time we are in Paris!

Great location, fantastic communication, needs some maintenance

Almost everything about the apartment was five stars. The property manager (Alan) was fantastic, and so was the location. It is located two blocks from the Metro, and there is a bus line that is very easy to utilize as well. Having the Casino store inside the building was so convenient. We were able to grab food to prepare as we needed it. Nearby bakery and restaurants were easy to access. We felt safe in and around the building, at all hours of the day. Having the clothes washer and dryer was perfect. We used them throughout our stay, allowing us to minimize how much we needed to bring with us. The only reason the overall stay is not rated at five stars is that the unit needed some maintenance. One of the showers was very slow in draining, so we didn't want to use it. The kitchen sink sprays water, even at the lowest setting. One of the window blinds got stuck and would not close. Some lights were not working properly. We did not request that they get fixed while we were there, as we were able to enjoy the unit well enough. I would have preferred to give a 4.5 star overall review, but that is not an option. It really was a fantastic stay.

Rare find in Paris

This is a very comfortable, well-appointed two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment. The neighborhood is not historic, but shops, restaurants and the Metro are conveniently located. If you're a tennis fan, it might be of interest to know that the apartment's owner is Francoise Durr, who won the French Open in 1967. Some of her trophies and tennis-inspired art decorate the apartment.

Quiet and comfortable

Alan,the property manager, meet us when we arrived and spent time showing us the workings of the apartment. It is on the eighth floor with a large balcony suitable for late afternoon cocktail hour. The apartment was comfortable with two modest sized bedrooms. Wednesday and Saturday there is a good outdoor market. Saturday was more extensive. The metro is a five minute walk. All in all, we enjoyed our stay.

Thank god for AC

While we were in Paris it was sooo hot - I can't tell you much the AC made a difference :) Our time here was wonderful. Alan was a joy to work with, he even helped us set up a private driver for our first day! Can't wait to come back :)

Comfortable French neighborhood

The place was perfect for two couples or a small family. Our host Alan was very helpful and responsive. The washer and dryer came in handy and the water pressure was great for the showers. The neighborhood was a real French area without many tourists. The locals were friendly and there was a very convenient grocery store right in the building. There is a Metro station only a short walk from the place. I highly recommend the place.

Great location, great apartment

Excellent condo or apartment in quiet 15e arr. neighborhood

The host was very gracious and communicative. He met with us to go over the property. It was exactly as in the floorplan and pictures. All rooms had automatic shutters that kept the rooms very dark. He also had some extra adapters from previous guests. Large "master" bedroom with king sized bed: had a great view of Eiffel Tower. It was spectacular. Had a closet and end table. Second bedroom had two long beds. Large bathroom had washer, dryer (washer vibrated a bit, the kids said it sounded like bumping the walls so you'll have to not do that at night). Both bathrooms have toilets in a bit of an alcove and showers and sinks. We did not spend a lot of time in exploring the library, but there's a lot of books and travel books. The kitchen is small but serviceable. Has fridge and freezer (and ice cubes). The 15th arrondisement is quiet and largely everything shuts down by about 7:30pm. Casino supermarket downstairs -- very convenient. Has wines, fresh fruit, everything you need or want. The apartment is pretty conveniently located to Lourmel (2-3 blocks away especially the rue Vasco de Gama exit) and Balard (Avenue Felix Faure exit - 2.5 blocks). The 42 bus runs not too far up past the Eiffel Tower. There is A/C for the few hot days (we used it mid- to late- August) in the 2 bedrooms and the living room. Recycling in the first sublevel (-1). This apartment was perfect and convenient for all of our needs.
