This listing has views from your lanai will have you coming back year after year--and the beach is a short stroll across the condo property! A cozy one bedroom and one bath second floor, this unit supplies you with everything you need for a memorable vacation. Choose from indoor or outdoor dining with the convenience of cooking your own meals. Wailea Ekahi no longer allows private grills but they offer a beautiful gas grilling area at the community Pavilion. The kitchen has the appliances and utensils you need to create great dishes. The comfortable living room allows you to relax in style. If catching up on sleep is a priority, the king bed will offer you that opportunity! Within the Ekahi complex, you will find 4 pools, paddle tennis and shuffleboard for your enjoyment. Come enjoy a relaxing stay in 49F!

While we strive to keep all photos up to date, there may be new and updated pieces of furniture or décor that are different than in the original pictures. The functionality, available seating and sleeping space will remain the same or may improve.Guest accessWithin the Ekahi complex, you will find 4 pools, paddle tennis and shuffleboard for your enjoyment. Come enjoy a relaxing stay in 49F!

New Fitness Center. The facility is available from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily. Located just inside the Beach Pavilion, there are 3 pieces of cardio equipment, dumbbells ranging from 1-50 lbs, and a few other accessories that provide a full body workout. You must be 18 or over, sign a waiver of release, and no swim attire is permitted. Close-toed athletic shoes are required and ask that users dress appropriately.

Other things to notePlease note: Upon confirming your reservation, we will request your personal email address. A company specific rental agreement will be emailed to the provided address. Once we have received your completed rental agreement, detailed arrival instructions will be emailed to you one week prior to your stay.

Relaxing vacation

The views from this condo were outstanding. We love staying in a condo over a hotel and this one provided everything we could ask for. Would definetly rent here again

Awesome Views

We enjoyed staying here over the 4th of July and watching Fireworks from the yard just below the condo. It is a short hike to the beach and easy assess to the boardwalk and nice beach walks in both directions. Great location to get to our favorite snorkeling spots early in the a.m. before the lots fill up.

Wonderful Vacation at Ekahi Village

Overall the condo was great! Pros include great ocean view, very comfortable bed, easy parking, wonderful facilities including pool and pavillion. Cons include old carpet and cabinetry which is in need of updating, distant part of complex with longer walk to beach and pavillion. Overall I would stay again in the future.

Great location

Overall very happy with this location. Only negatives would be that it is badly in need of a renovation, the bed is old and not very comfortable and the pillows were totally inadequate. However we enjoyed our 7 nights and days and would recommend and return if the bed and pillow issue was remedied.

Relaxing stay

Very pleased with the unit overall. The space is bright and open. The view was better than expected. We would gladly visit again. A minor issue: The beach chairs are in need of replacement as zippers and clasps are broken.

A week in Maui

Beautiful property with an amazing view of the Maui coast. The grounds and landscaping are always stunning. Conveniently close walk to the beach with great snorkeling among coral reefs and tropical fish. Incredible sunsets. Check-in and communications from the property manager were a little late in coming and clumsy, but we had a wonderful stay once we arrived.

Beautiful views in a comfortable unit

Second floor end unit with outstanding ocean views. Comfortable furnishings and decent entertainment center. Stroll to pavilion and ocean down Haleakala is about 10 minutes. Nearby shops of Wailea and ocean side walkway is an easy walk as well.

Wife's folks owned several from the time she was in High school Spent lots of time there as she was growing up and then we did with our kids Had a great time. Jack hammers breaking up concrete @ 8:15 in the morning 3 days in a row was a little annoying. All in all a good trip. Bill

Beautiful view and convenient to shops and beach .

Appears that there have been no repairs or upgradEs for 20 years . Dishwasher rack broken. Dishwasher ON button broken. TV was very difficult to work and limited on reception. Balcony railing was stripped of pain and not repainted

Great location

Pros: The condo was lovely and clean, if a bit dated. The location is great. The beach accessed from the main pool area is fantastic. The kitchen is very well stocked. The layout is good for multiple guests. Cons: The bed was way too soft for us. The mattress foam topper kept slipping and we sank towards the middle. Th ac units were pretty noisy and we were comfortable with just the fans. Sliding door to lanai was pretty hard to slide and didn’t stay on its rails

Beautiful view

The apartment is lovely. That said, the foam topper on the bed was not for us as it made the bed much too soft. The mattress was also larger than the box springs beneath it and the bed skirt was a little fussy. The pillows were, by contrast, very flat, not pillowy at all. Finally, directions from the unit to the beach would be helpful as the route is not intuitive and requires a great familiarity with the property.

Great view but needs updating

We've stayed at Ekahi many times and its the best. This unit has a fantastic view but is in need of a full renovation. The bathroom and kitchen are serviceable and clean but not nice, the lanai door barely operates and fell completely out of the track at one point. The living room furniture is uncomfortable and garage sale quality at best. The lanai has an old bistro size table and 2 chairs that Im sure they grabbed off the side of the road somewhere. All in all we had a great stay 3 star unit in a 5 star complex.

Wonderful View and Short Walk to Beach

This was exactly what we were wanted for our first time in Maui. The location was clean and had everything we needed but most importantly the view from the lanai was beautiful. The entire property was quiet and relaxing and the walk to the beach was probably between 8-10 minutes. The property included everything we needed and we especially enjoyed the beach chairs that had backpack straps a d a zipped cooler section (genius design). The property had a passcode door lock which was provided prior to arrival which was great because after 10 hours of flights it was great to not have to go through a checkin process. Just drive up to the property, type the code in and prepare to relax. Having never been to Maui before I didn’t know anything about the area, but we found it perfect regarding its proximity to activities. Overall, it was great in all the important areas and I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was accurately described. It was very clean and well equipped. We were not impressed with the rental office which indicated there was no beach access. Not true! There’s a whole beach pavilion with direct access. Perhaps they don’t like renters. Condo had a full kitchen, grill, and washer / drier. Very comfortable and quiet with easy street access. At the time we rented it was a little less expensive perhaps as it was not seemingly updated from original construction. But everything was functional and we enjoyed the stay.

Good response for service calls but terrible TV and related equipment. Non functional DVD EQUIPMENT, difficult to get channel guide/ Menu… ended up leaving TV on all the time since it was so hard to get it to work WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS UNIT 49F

Good view but needs refresh

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 49F had a great view of the ocean panorama and sunset views. The unit itself was clean and everything worked fine. It was just very beige and hasn’t been updated in 30-40 years. The king bed in the main bedroom was very uncomfortable and had a big valley in it on one side. The complex is very large with over 300 units. There are 4 pools available but only one is heated. The complex is on a hill and 49F is at the top, so going down to the largest pool or beach is fine. However, coming back is quite a hike uphill. The poolside pavilion is available to eat in in you bring your own food and beverages. Grounds of the complex are beautiful and located on the edge of Wailea. Convenient to get to shopping and restaurants.

Our First Trip to Maui

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We found this Wailea Ekahi Village unit 49F through Chase Sapphire points. The photos were very effective in communicating what the place actually looked like. The location was good for us, however, it is a little far walk from the main pool and beach entry. Make sure you know the pool code before you head out! We didn't and had to call the office while we were standing outside the gate because no one came by to let us in. Everything inside the unit was clean and there were enough starter supplies and cooking tools for simple meal prep. The bed needs to be replaced as soon as possible. The right side is sagging terribly and there is a hump in the middle. (Lost a star rating because of this). There were gorgeous sunsets off the patio and the placement of the unit is very private - you don't really see the windows for any other units except in the bedroom so you need to keep that shade down when changing. Parking was plentiful and we hardly saw any of our neighbors. Honestly, we weren't in the place during the day at all so can't speak to daytime hours. AC units worked well and were effective.
