Welcome to Drip Dry Down, a charming 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom oceanfront duplex located at 1311 East Ashley. This stylish cottage features beach access and soft sands, making it an ideal getaway for families and beach enthusiasts.

Features:
Living Area: Relax in the inviting living room with a queen sleeper sofa and a 43" curved 4K TV. The open design connects seamlessly to the kitchen, creating a perfect gathering space.

Kitchen: Fully stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances and tile flooring. Enjoy ocean views while cooking your favorite meals.

Bedroom #1 - King
Bedroom #2 - queen bed and a twin bed, perfect for families or friends.

Bathrooms: Shared bathroom with tiled shower stall
Washer and dryer accessible from the exterior of the home.

Not pleased.

We have used this location now twice. Very unsatisfied with the condition of the property. The house is a wonderful location. The house itself less satisfied. The stove top worked to cook eggs one morning. When trying to cook other items only one burner worked and when we tried to use the same burner again would no longer work. Had this same issue 3 years ago still was not fixed. The dresser in the primary bedroom fell apart couldn’t even use 3 drawers out of the 5 for our clothes. No hangers provided if you did want to hang anything which was disappointing. The bathroom sink would not drain as the stopper was stuck and it was broke and rusted into two pieces below no way of fixing ourself. The primary room window air unit could see light below it. Was not properly sealed. They stated to bring hand towels for kitchen to use. Did not state we must also bring pot holders or a pizza cutter. Was not the dream vacation we were expecting. Heated pool was great if the sun was out and shinning bright. Otherwise pool was cold and not enjoyable. Very disappointed to see how run down the inside of this property has become. Either poor management or owners just making a buck.

Great location but stove top issues clothes dryer didn't work broken screens on porch dresser in master fell apart. Property management was made aware of these items and addressed the stove top and dresser issues. Quite small but nice anyway.

The pool was a hit

It was just the right size for my husband and I to spend a weekend away. Right on the beach, with a pool my husband described as the perfect size and temperature. Had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable, and the screened in porch had very relaxing furniture to enjoy more time outside. The alarm in our room did go off at 4 am, but that's on whoever left it turned on before us. Easy enough to fix. Comfortable beds, a bathroom with just what you needed and tv for nights in. We will definitely be back.

Slice of heaven

Perfect location. Hearing the ocean while I slept. Waking up to the most beautiful sunrises. Watching surfers in the morning sun with dolphins jumping and playing around the surfers. The pool was such a wonderful surprise. I can’t wait to come back.

Perfect weekend

Being able to fully relax with beach, pool, and close to town was perfection. Indoors is cozy indeed but with the amazing outdoor space it was not an issue. Happy to have found the little gem!

Perfect getaway

House is located directly on the beach with a private pool. Absolutely perfect for our family. Getting to and from the beach was a breeze. Very short drive to restaurants and entertainment. We will be back!

Couples Quick Retreat

This property was a renovated two-level beach house w heated pool, 25'x12', very literally steps from the beach. Location, location, location. Very clean. We rented the bottom portion. Fairly small inside but it just worked for us two 50-something married couples. The screened porch was well furnished with wicker furniture. We would like to return to Folly Beach and to this place specifically.

Loved bing right on the beach. Very nice screened in porch with a great view. Liked the heated pool but need to be maintained a little more often. Comfortable beds. Private beach and not very busy in May. Great local seafood. Overall a good experience.

My wife and I celebrated a short honeymoon getaway and it was amazing. My favorite part was being able to enjoy the heated pool at any time, as well as lay in our bed every morning and watch dolphins swim by. It was perfect.

Great place to stay!

Great place to stay!! Kids loved the heated pool and the easy access to the beach. Went out every morning to watch the sunrise on the beach. Also very much enjoyed the screened in porch, hope to return someday soon!

Small Place. Gorgeous patio and beachfront location.

The price for the listing was definitely worthwhile. The outdoor screened in patio and heated pool was beautiful and spacious with a view of the beach yet private from the beach. That alone was absolutely worth it. The house was small.. the two bedrooms were hard to move around in, beds squeezed in and little space for anything else like luggage. Carpet in main room was very rough like an outdoor one.. needed socks for sure. Felt a little cold most of the time- the thermostat went back to their settings automatically so it was hard to keep it comfortable. Amenities were minimum, no coffee, dish soap, barely enough toilet paper- but truly was fine. We had a wonderful stay even in January. The keypad for unlocking the door was finicky- we had to try 3-5 times most times and sometimes couldn’t get it to work. It was in a great quiet location on Folly beach that was just a 3min drive to the restaurants on Center Street. Everything we tried in town was amazing. Great seafood and the quickest service I’ve had! So nice with baby.

Didn’t need to leave the property

We are a family of 5, with 3 small children ages 6-8. We didn’t need to leave the property and our kids were either busy watching surfers, in the pool or in the ocean. The sea turtle nests were an added attraction.

Beautiful Cottage

Drip Dry Down is a beautiful beach front cottage that does not disappoint. The pool is an added bonus that we took full advantage of. The cottage was clean and well kept. The beach is perfect for collecting shells, walking, and surfing. The cottage is on the quiet end of the island. We would stay again!

Great little spot!
