Home away from home. Well maintained and close to the main road.

NOTE: This is a SUNDAY to SUNDAY rental from May to October.
This 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath cottage was fully restored in the fall of 2018. Fresh paint inside and out, new carpet, roof, well, mattresses and furniture. Remodeled kitchen with new appliances. It was a labor of love. Well maintained and taken care of.
Well stocked kitchen, some board games and all linens provided with the exception of beach towels.

This cottage is super cute and 1 block from the harbor, 2 blocks from the grocery store and Dalwhinnie's Bakery, less than a 10 minute walk to the lighthouse and 1/2 mile from the back beach.

Large master bedroom with private bathroom and private entrance on the main level.

2 bedrooms and a 1/2 bath upstairs.

Large front porch and back deck.. Fire pit in the back yard. Deer and turkey sightings are frequent. Great cottage for families.

1 block from the cottage is a grassy area on the harbor with Adirondack chairs for your use.

Absolutely NO smoking and NO pets. We are very sensitive to smoke and pet hair.

Rentals are for a 3 night minimum from mid- September to October. Beginning in summer of 2020 our May-mid-September rentals will be a minimum of 7 night stays and dates will be from SUNDAY to SUNDAY.

Check out time- following Sunday at 10 am

Wonderful home away from home

The home was exactly what we needed for a relaxing week on the island! It is such a comfortable place, clean, everything you need, and so close to everything in town while still being "away from it all".

Home was great, correspondence great with Manager. Work vehicle was broken into the night before crew left island. Servpro vehicle left with a broken window and broken back door lock. Work boots and Servpro bag with paperwork stolen. This was very unfortunate but everything else was as expected.

Wonderful property

We have visited the island for many years, and this property was one of the most comfortable we have stayed in. The hosts provided everyone as listed, the vacation was great.

Fun place to play in the sun!!

We had a great time, as always. Beaver Island is a great place to relax. The chickens and the rooster were annoying, but we handled it well. We had 2 cats that visited us daily but we didnt feed them at all. Thanks again and we will see who all wants to go next year.

Perfect stay on the island

Excellent communication from the start. Perfect quiet location in the harbor, just a 2 minute walk to the private beach. The house was well-equipped to make the stay feel like home from the start. Will definitely stay again.

Comfortable & Cozy Cottage

Very nice stay in this comfortable nicely decorated cottage which is close to town. The cottage was very clean and has everything you need in kitchen, towels, bedding, a nice big front porch to enjoy and a large backyard. Renee was a great host and will help you should you need anything

Family Vacation

Your house was beautiful. Overall wonderful experience, location was perfect for what we needed. Met some of your family, very nice people! 2 things that you may want to consider to update. Coffee pot, we had a lot of coffee drinkers and the maker brewed slowly. We had to clean it with vinegar 4 different times to get to brew. Took almost 2 hours to brew first pot. Second thing. Charcoal grill. Throw it away.. maybe invest in a propane grill. Other than that. Everything was absolutely great!

Great time

Our family had a great time. Despite a new structure blocking the view of the water, the home is well equipped with anything anything you need for cooking, the front porch is great to relax on with a cup of coffee, and the back yard is quiet and relaxing as well

Perfect Location

This was our famlies 2nd time staying at FallenOaks. Again it met everything for our family needs. We are a family that loves to cook/grill. Renee has the home very well stocked for all of your cooking enjoyment. The new chairs at the lake front that are provided were a perfect touch. Looking forward to our stay next year.

Beautiful cottage!

We had a perfect week on the island! The pictures of this cottage show a lot of its charm, but they can’t show how it feels to have the windows open and that warm summer breeze coming in off the lake. Or how lovely it feels to sit on the front porch at night. The pictures can’t show how comfortable all of the beds and furniture are (SO comfortable) or how completely at home you will feel. The owners have thought of every little thing that you could need, and then some. This is a perfect home base for island adventures. The location is great as well! I highly recommend!
