Beaver Island is the perfect place to reset and recharge! This two bedroom with loft and two bathroom home is set up to give you space to enjoy the fresh air and beautiful scenes of Lake Michigan. Located about 9 miles from the center of St James, you’ll find it enjoyable to visit town and then slip away for a quiet retreat with a night sky loaded full of stars. The home comes equipped with kitchen supplies, a small selection of games, gas grill, outside fire pit, and linens.

Beautiful place

Beautiful place and morning sunrises. Place is as described/pictured. Hosts were very prompt in responding to questions asked. Enjoyed our stay, look forward to returning

Great Place

My husband and his buddies said it was the best place they have stayed at yet.We will be planning a trip as a family next year. They said it was very clean and the view was beautiful.

Stargazing on Beaver Island

Lovely stay at this property on Beaver Island. We came to see the stars and had wonderful views of the Milky Way, the northern lights, and Jupiter rising. We rented bikes from Happy Paddle and enjoyed the10 mile ride to town. Thanks for a great stay!

Our Stay on Beaver Island

We absolutely loved the home, the cleanliness, the on going communication with the owners, the homey type feel of the place. And the views! Spectacular! We stayed there to have a peaceful anniversary weekend and we will be back again!

Perfect getaway

Had a lovely long weekend stay here, place was spotless when we arrived and we had everything we needed. Loved having open windows and listening to the lake at night! Also really enjoyed getting to know the island, iffy weather notwithstanding. Definitely a place to revisit!

Slice of heaven

The house is everything we had hoped for. Everything was very clean upon arrival. It was very comfortable and relaxing. The stars and night sky were phenomenal and we even experienced the northern lights during our stay. We would definitely stay again.

Beach Front Perfection!

My friends and I were on the island to fish for a few days. This was probably my 12th trip to the island and we found the perfect spot! The house was impeccably clean and beautiful. The location is secluded and the morning sunrise views were off the hook! We hope the house is available for our trip next year!

Gem on the east shore

Great house with most things needed. Beautiful view, great firepit with wonderful swing. Pickup ice in town, and be aware the front of the property by the water is all large rocks. We had a great time nice, friendly people on the island.

Beautiful Lake Michigan beach house

It’s a beautifully appointed house right on Lake Michigan. Everything in the house was an excellent condition and we really enjoyed our stay. Beaver Island is a wonderful place to explore or just chill at the sandy beach. There are some rocks close to shore, but in an only a few feet, you will have ripples sugar sand. Would definitely stay again, excellent communications with the owners and they were very accommodating.

Stunning beachfront property

If you're looking for a mind boday and soul reset, this is your place. The host absolutely has put tons of thought into this beachfront property. Thd view you get of the lake never gets old. Im gonna miss watching the sunrise and even the one late night storm through the floor to ceiling windows was amazing. We explored the island and found some other beautiful beaches during our stay as well. Our stay definitely exceeded our expectation and we are looking forward to another stay

Spectacular Sunrise

We had a wonderful stay at this property and it was just as described. Kaytee and Patrick were wonderful hosts. They answered our questions promptly and even let my husband and I into the house a little early on check-in day. The sunrise (if your and early riser) was beautiful every day. As others have stated, it is pretty rocky by the lake, but nothing that couldn't be taken care of by wearing water shoes.

Loved it!

We had a blast on Beaver Island. The kitchen was more then expected. Imagine my surprise when I found the griddle. So much easier to make French toast and pancakes. The only snake I saw was at the golf course. I think we both scared each other. The kids saw a few snakes in the water.

Women's getaway

What a comfortable and cozy space to enjoy the sunrises on Lake Michigan. Beds were comfortable and the main living area was great for visiting, playing cards, cooking together and laughing. The deck was the perfect place for morning coffee and breakfast. Kaytee and Patrick were quick to respond to any questions and provided information on what to do on this amazing and friendly island. Locals are quick to wave and provide information on the island. Bonus - we even saw a beaver the last morning taking a leisurely swim in front of the beach house. Great hosts - great stay! Absolute musts - drive around the island and stop for short beach hikes, visit the three museums in town, find the secret garden, visit the library and be sure to go to Whiskey Point Brewing Company and the Circle M restaurant.

This place is a gem

Lovely home on Lake Michigan and the views from the deck, loft and master bedroom are gorgeous to wake up to. I kept the sliding doors open to fall asleep to the sound of the water. Great for paddle boarding and rock hunting, but the shore is rocky so water shoes are helpful! Kitchen was well equipped and we used it a lot. Washers and dryers also got a lot of use, and they even provided laundry pods and fabric softener sheets which were a nice touch! Loved the fire pit and the swing near it. Lots of great memories were made here. ❤️

VIEWS & Sunshine!

Easy check in. Lovely setting. We were disappointed that it did not offer cable , so we watched programs on my IPad. Nice lawn chairs in garage to enjoy views from the deck. If you are looking for a sandy beach to play or walk on, this is not your location but some open very sandy and BEAUTIFUL beaches are nearby and available on many parts of the island. We rented a side by side and had access to every road on the island. Very neat to be allowed to drive into town or on trails with a vehicle. Beaver Island is extremely unique!👍 A memorable experience!

Good

Staying inside the house was fine, but outside the house my family didn't want to stay for long. we found a nest of snakes in front of the house. and we would have liked to be in the water, for that reason we could not swim in the water, my family did not feel comfortable. they are in the area of the metal wall on the right hand side there were many.

Beautiful view

House was very clean. Views were amazing with great access to water. Only issues was Alot of snakes on the property, we counted 9 in one day. If I had small children with me this would of been awful. ALOT of mosquitoes, we had to purchase stuff to spray around they yard and citronella candles. One thing that should be listed when booking is your trash has to be taken to another location at the end of your stay, if you don't have a truck this could be an issue I would not want to load trash into my car. The owners were wonderful about taking it for us due to the opening of the facility and time we had to leave for the ferry. Over all it was a great place.

It was a beautiful home!! But you might want to think about including handicapped showers or something for your older adults. It was difficult for husband to get into bath tub/ shower. He almost fell getting out.
