This exceptionally appointed home is stylishly outfitted with original artwork, organic fabrics, handcrafted furniture and exquisite fixtures and finishes. The neutral color walls, carpet and tile floors provide a soothing backdrop to showcase the bold pops of color in the attractive paintings. Designer lighting and custom sound system add warmth, ambiance and elegance to the home.

MAIN INDOOR LIVING SPACES

The expansive double door entry from a beautiful garden courtyard sets an immediate dramatic tone. The stylish living room is the heart of the home with plenty of comfortable seating to gather with friends and family around the natural stone gas fireplace. The magnificent sliding glass walls bring the outdoor paradise indoors and capture the sensational San Jacinto mountain views. The swanky dining room features an elegant circular glass dining table, tangerine chairs and hand woven ribbon pendant light.

The gourmet kitchen opens to the living, dining and media rooms. You’ll enjoy preparing meals in this fully equipped modern chef’s kitchen with stainless steel appliances, including Viking range, Monogram side-by-side refrigerator with ice and water on the door, built-in microwave and deep farmer’s sink. The contemporary cabinets, quartz stone countertops, ample pantry storage and prep island provide abundant space for culinary creativity of any scale, whether preparing dinner for 2 or 8. Plus, the kitchen is stocked with all the necessary accouterments sure to delight any cook.

The media room houses the second stone gas fireplace, a 65” flat screen smart TV, DVR, Blu-ray DVD, Roku and Polk theatre sound system perfect for family movie night. A custom Sonos sound system is ready for your own personal playlist so you can enjoy your favorite tunes throughout the main living area. There’s also a handy desk for catching up on emails or work while on vacation.

BEDROOMS

Pamper yourself in one of the 4 luxurious bedrooms furnished with comfort and tranquility in mind. All bedroom sanctuaries offer brand new high quality mattresses, fine linens, flat screen TVs and walk-in custom closets with loads of storage. Two full master suites on opposite sides of the home provide complete guest privacy for couples traveling together.

GRAND MASTER RETREAT – The north wing master is well appointed with a King bed, Cocoon Chill foam mattress, sitting area, custom drapes, 50” flat screen smart HDTV, Roku, soundbar, remote controlled ceiling fan, spacious walk-in closet, access to the pool and spa through glass sliding doors and expansive vistas of the western mountains. The opulent en suite bath offers a sensuous shower with custom glass enclosure and rain shower head, indulgent soaking tub, gorgeous double vanity sinks, natural stone counters, travertine tile and premier fixtures.

JUNIOR MASTER RETREAT – The south wing master has a Queen bed, Tempur-Pedic mattress, sitting area, custom drapes, 50” flat screen smart HDTV, Roku, soundbar, remote controlled ceiling fan, spacious walk-in closet, access to the pool and spa through glass sliding doors and expansive vistas of the western mountains. The en suite bath offers a double head shower with custom glass enclosure, double vanity sinks, natural stone counters, travertine tile and modern fixtures.

KING GUEST ROOM – The north wing houses another bedroom with King bed, Nectar foam mattress, 50” flat screen smart HDTV and spacious walk-in closet. An adjacent bathroom with walk-in glass enclosed shower and single vanity is shared with twin room.

TWIN ROOM – The fourth bedroom features 2 twin beds with 42” smart HDTV, walk-in closet and nearby hall bathroom.

OUTDOORS LIVING SPACES

Bathed in year-round sunshine, this resort-style property allows you to truly experience the magnificent desert climate with multiple outdoor living and dining areas and sweeping mountain views. The meticulously maintained grounds are walled, gated and hedged to provide the utmost privacy. Discover your own desert paradise landscaped with a variety of towering palm trees, rock gardens, cacti, desert ornamentals and lush green lawn.

The centerpiece of the entertainment backyard is the sensational 35’ x 16’ saltwater heated pool with Versace patterned tile perfect for swimming laps or floating aimlessly. For soaking in the PS sunshine, there are plenty of chaise lounges to enjoy a full day of sun from the west-facing patio. If shade is what you crave, hang out in one of the deep-seated comfortable lemon sofas sipping a cool drink under the grand covered lanai with misting system that extends the full length of the house. Or take a nap under the cool shade of the umbrellas or one of many seating areas. After a long day of golf or sightseeing, indulge yourself in the tranquil, elevated spa with waterfall that cascades into the pool. Enjoy dinner or evening cocktails around the outdoor dining table under a canopy of twinkling desert stars. There’s also a gas stainless steel BBQ and plenty of pool floats to complete the perfect outdoor experience.

AMENITIES

For our guests added convenience we offer a garage, full size steam washer and dryer in a dedicated indoor laundry room, Wi-Fi, Smart TVs with ROKU & You Tube TV, Sonos, phone service with unlimited long distance to US and Canada and estate disposal service. All high quality linens, towels & pool floats provided too.

OPTIONAL FEES

For stays of less than 28 nights, the optional pool & spa heat fee is $100/day or $650/week. Pool heat is not needed between June - September. If you do not want pool heat but would like to heat the spa, the cost is $55/ day. A utility deposit is collected for stays of 28 nights or more and the amount is based on the length of stay. The cost of an Early Arrival or Late Departure is $200 each plus tax.

LOCATION

The Midcentury Marvel is the ultimate Palm Springs getaway for modernism enthusiasts, a romantic couples weekend, family holidays or snowbirds looking for a private, relaxing, warm retreat. We strive to provide you all the comforts of home without the work. That is why we offer all our guests access to a local property manager on call to attend to your needs. Weekly gardening service and pool service twice per week are also provided. Just relax and enjoy your stay!

This property is nestled in the charming El Mirador neighborhood bordering the famed Movie Colony area, home to Hollywood celebrities like Joan Crawford, Dinah Shore, Tony Curtis and Lucille Ball. Within walking distance to the Palm Springs village center and beautiful Ruth Hardy Park, it’s the perfect locale to experience all the attractions and entertainment that Palm Springs has to offer including day spas, golfing, designer boutiques, museums, art galleries, vintage furniture shops, dining, coffee houses, cocktail lounges, hiking, biking, tennis, horseback riding, gambling and night clubs. You will also be about 1 mile from Ralph’s grocery store, Starbucks, Power Fitness Gym, Rite Aid, PS Public Library, Desert Memorial Hospital, PS Convention Center, Spa Resort Casino and lots of casual dining.
