Newly renovated throughout, a beautiful ground level 1-bedroom apartment (no stairs) with spacious manicured lawn overlooking Sunset Lagoon in Historic Tarpon Springs. Property features king bed, washer & dryer, dishwasher, free cable TV / WIFI, a large patio with fire-pit, boat dock with direct access to the Gulf of America, Sponge Docks, shops, restaurants and much more. We are minutes from both Sunset & Howard beaches, easy access to international airports, Clearwater, St Peterburg and the greater Tampa area.

Beautiful setting!

The apartment was absolutely LOVELY! It was very private, had a super comfortable bed, a well-appointed kitchen, cute decor. The grounds were amazing—I loved taking my coffee outside and enjoying the view. Bill was friendly, efficient and right next door to answer any questions. We totally enjoyed our visit and plan to stay there again.

Perfect Stay!

Just a nice experience - that sums it up! Nice one-bedroom unit with full kitchen and laundry services available (larger than we thought). Parking is right next to the unit with no stairs, very convenient. Two separate areas to relax outside - on the paver brick patio with fireplace (near the unit) or on the dock along the water. Everything is clean and updated and has a Florida vibe without going overboard. Bill and his wife were so accommodating with everything. We will definitely be staying again!

Awesome location, on the water and close to everything.

Tarpon Springs is a lovely community and this rental is perfect, well stocked, comfortable, quiet and conveniently located. Loved it.

Best Location, Great Price, Amazing Accommodation

Bill is an amazing host. I brought my boat and not only did he let me use the dock, he drove with me to the boat ramp a mile down the road, helped me put the boat into the water, and then drove my truck back to the property. Apartment was stocked with snacks and refreshments. It’s in a perfect location and in a safe beautiful neighborhood. The beach is right down the road. Restaurants are around the corner. We stayed a whole week and would gladly stay again.

Cozy Tarpon Apartment.

This apartment is in a great location and has a wonderful view of the bayou. It is located close to Tarpon Springs and many of the parks and areas of interest. We enjoyed our stay there very much.

Perfect property for our stay

Bill and Alicia were fantastic hosts. The property was very clean and comfortable, and was the perfect spot for our visit. We appreciated the extra towels, nice dishes and cookware and the washer and dryer. We've stayed in many VRBO properties and hosts often skimp on extra towels and have poor quality kitchen items. Everything was very nice and made our stay so comfortable. We enjoyed the outdoor area and the dock and we definitely plan to be repeat guests.

Lovely and relaxing location

This was the perfect location for us to relax, restore and unwind. All was as pictured. Very clean. Nicely updated. Loved having a washer/dryer. A quick drive to two beaches (5-7 min.), which is where we spent our days. We ate out most nights but the kitchen is very nicely stocked with all you need to cook and eat in. Enjoyed the pier for morning coffee. Publix was only a few minutes away, although we stocked up at Aldi and Whole Foods (about 30 minute away) on our drive to Tarpon Springs. We would definitely stay there again if in the area. Bill replied to all questions in a timely manner and was excellent to work with.

Enjoyable! beautiful! Walkable!

The apartment was great. The property was great. Bill the host was great. Very nice neighborhood. Sidewalks everywhere. Canals, lakes, parks all around. We walked every where: to Sponge Docks and Sunset Beach (true to its name- beautiful sunsets) both about 1 mile. We also walked to Howard park (another beach) - about 2 miles. We walked to restaurants- Jimmy’s nearby and we liked Bistro Bayou at the Sponge Docks. We fished from the dock, took a boat ride to Anclote Key and saw dolphins. We drove to Honeymoon Island-which is also beautiful! We felt safe every where we went. We had a great time.

Wonderful honeymoon

My husband and I got married right before the pandemic and waited to take our honeymoon. Thank goodness we did and even better that we chose Sunset Palms! It was so clean, welcoming and such a perfect location, we couldn't be happier! Bill and his wife Alecia were lovely, responsive hosts and so friendly, thoughtful and caring! We had a great time and will return to sunset Palms. The photos of the property are exactly as presented. Quiet and lovely space! If you are trying to decide which property to choose, you should pick this one! You won't be disappointed! Linda

We loved it!

Great park like location. Looks jut like the pictures. The host was friendly and accommodating. Within walking or biking distance to the beaches or downtown.. We come to the area often and will definitely book again.

Great location, great host, great apartment!

We had a wonderful stay at Bill's apartment in Tarpon Springs. We wanted to get away from the Minnesota winter, but stay away from groups of people, and this was perfect. We went to fish markets (Jensen's in Dunedin was excellent) and grocery stores (Sprouts was great), and cooked most meals in the apartment. We spent a lot of time sitting on the dock with coffee, we took walks around the neighborhood, and every day we drove to Honeymoon island to walk the beach and look for shells. The apartment is clean and comfortable, easy to get into, and a great home base. A couple of notes: first, there is a high step to get into and out of the shower - no problem for us, but good to know. Second - the bed is quite soft. But on the whole, an easy 5 star recommendation. Bill was a fabulous host who took care of any issue we had immediately.

Great little place, super host.

Very much enjoyed our stay here. Unlike some we've experienced, this place DOES look just like the pictures. What you see is what you get! Very comfortable with plenty of room and nice neighborhood. Very clean with updated appliances incl washer/dryer & TV. Equipped with everything we needed during our 10 day stay. Big yard and nice pier to enjoy a coffee or cocktail or try your luck at fishing. Previous reviews mention all the things Tarpon Springs has to offer, we agree and will be back. Additionally, you won't find a more friendly or gracious host. Thanks Bill!

Very Nice Accommodations and Hosts

We really enjoyed our stay in Tarpon Springs with the hosts Bill and Alicia. The 1 BR apartment is clean, private and very well equipped. It was perfect for our stay (couple and small dog). Very close to Howard Park, Sunset Beach and the sponge docks. The appliances are like new as are the washer and dryer. We highly recommend this property and would stay here again in a heartbeat. Bill even gave us a boat ride to the Gulf and we were less than 50 feet from the dolphins which was a real thrill. Tarpon Springs offers much to be explored. Thanks again, Bill and Alicia.

Tarpon Springs getaway

We received a warm welcome from the owner on arrival and felt that he was very attentive to our needs. There was a phone number to call if anything needed attention. We did call that number one time during our stay, and there was an immediate and satisfactory response with regard to the washing machine. The location was excellent for exploring the Tarpon Springs area, and the property was lovely. We had everything we needed and wished we could have stayed longer. We would highly recommend this rental.

Cozy and Convenient

Nice little apartment located right on the bayou. There was a plenty of fish activity at the boat dock in the back and we saw others fishing daily off the bridge nearby. The neighborhood was nice...5 min drive to the sponge docks and a 5 min walk to a great local restaurant. Would definitely recommend for a quiet stay in Tarpon.

Tarpon Springs paradise

A beautiful little property with direct access to the water channels of Tarpon Springs and the Gulf of Mexico. The housing was newly remodeled as stated and really cozy, clean and organized. All the essentials were provided and Mr. Bill and his wife were very helpful during our stay. Undoubtedly a great choice for short or long term vacation at a really nice little town with lots of closeby areas to visit.
