Beautiful home. Great location. Easy walk to the beach. Quick golf ride to everything else. Very comfy beds. Fast communication. A few updates needed but overall a lovely place!

House layout and location was perfect. Walking distance to the pier and the park. Steps away from the beach. Thankful that we paid for the pool to be heated since the weather was cooler. Definitely recommend. This home made our family vacation perfect!

We made a mistake… We don’t want to stay anywhere else after staying here! The location was great, the house was great and worked very well for our family arrangements. The pool was fantastic. Stephanie was very responsive and friendly. She even accommodated an early arrival!

We loved it. The house was clean and comfortable. Every night was a great and restful night of sleep after a day in the sun at the beach, lounging at the pool, swimming, etc. the location was also great. So close to the miniature golf course and ice cream. Thank you, Stephanie and Lee.

Relaxing and great location

Great location, walk to the park, ice cream and coffee... and the beach! Pool was great. House was homey and met our needs. Would stay again!

Excellent location to beach access, restaurants and the park. Well equipped for small children; and kitchen was well equipped as well. Pool was a wonderful asset to this property. Family memories made on both front and back porches !!! Will definitely be top choice for another trip.

Beautiful home in and Ideal Location!

Our stay was fantastic. The house was easy to find and in an ideal location just near the center of Ocean Isle beach. We were able to walk to eat and were just across the street from the beach access which also had public restrooms. The home was very clean and accommodated us perfectly. We will definitely be back!

The pool was available, but the heated portion came with a fee. So, we didn’t swim in the heated pool. The Wi-Fi speed was good. The home was clean well equipped.

Good times at the Sugar Aisle!

Easy access to the beach via nearby public access. House is well equipped and well maintained, and the hosts are very responsive to questions. Highly recommend!

Great location!

The property is located in a great location. Easy for the kids to walk to the beach and even walk to the park. Nice private pool with lots of extra things for the kids to play with. Stephanie was easy to communicate with.

Great spot!

Our friends stayed at this same home several times, so we were familiar with the layout and location. It was clean, super convenient to the beach and the center of OIB and had everything we needed for our week long stay. Stephanie is super responsive, friendly and helpful as the owner. Would absolutely recommend this place and stay again!

Spring Break 2023

Sugar Aisle was a great place to stay and we would stay there again. It was perfect for our smaller group and the location was wonderful as well. The house and pool are lovely. Thanks Stephanie and Lee for sharing your home with us! :)

Back again!

This is our third time at Ocean Isle Beach, second time at this house. It’s a wonderful location and it’s like a home away from home for us, the kids and the grandkids. Beach time in the morning, pool time in the afternoon. Tough to beat. Hosts are great!

Wonderful Getaway

We had a wonderful getaway from the coronavirus pandemic to this beautiful home on OIB! Everything was perfect, from the beautiful home, to the well stocked kitchen and bathrooms, to the pool which provided many memorable moments. The location is perfect, walking distance to shops, restaurants, arcades, mini golf, ice cream, and the pier. I have been going to OIB for 30 years and am not sure I have ever had a better experience, we will definitely be staying at this home again!

Great Family-Friendly House

We had a great time and would recommend this property! Very child-friendly house. Easy and close walk to the beach. A beach view from the back upper porch and dining room. Nice backyard and pool. The wall switch labels was a great touch! Wish we could have stayed longer.

The best part about this property is the pool, location to the beach, town center, and restaurants. An elevator would be nice to have. The owners need to have a deep cleaning done in the house, and have maintenance performed. Hiring a handyman would be beneficial. The high ceiling fan in the living room needs replaced, as it is loosely hanging and has to be manually spun to get it working. At least the air conditioner worked! The two air filters need changed. Shower heads had growth in them, as well as other areas. The primary bath shower doors were short and allowed water to be splashed outside of the shower. The kitchen garbage disposal needs some work or replaced. The upstairs carpet was dirty, and the LVP/tile downstairs left your bare feet filthy. There were several roaches found in the house. The outside/pool/beach closet needs organization. The house needs attention, and a remodel would have made us feel better about paying the rate charged for the week.

We always prefer to address any comfort or maintenance concerns immediately. While we were glad to help you resolve the ceiling fan over the phone during your stay, we wish we had known about the other items so we could have dispatched our handyman right away. Cleanliness is a top priority for us, and our team would have gladly returned to re-clean any areas to your satisfaction. Regarding the palmetto bugs, our property is treated by professionals twice a month. As any North Carolina beachgoer knows, these pests thrive in our summer heat and humidity, but we always do our best to keep them at bay and can easily schedule extra treatments when needed. While an elevator or major remodel are not part of our current layout, we take great pride in our home and continuously invest in updates every year to maximize comfort for our guests. We wish you all the best in finding a place more suitable for your needs and expectations in the future!

15th anniversary

We loved our stay. The house was so clean and the location is perfect. Anything that was wrong the owners took care of immediately. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting OIB. There were an abundance of seating at the pool, beach supplies like umbrellas and beach chairs, extra propane for the grill if needed. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you Stephanie
