What better place to relax and enjoy a well-deserved break!

"Paradise Point" is the perfect getaway for a family, friend, or couple's vacation. At "the point" you will enjoy Panoramic Views of both the Shallotte River and the beautiful intracoastal waterways. Paradise Point has a beautiful Pier to fish, hang out, or just watch the boats go by. We have a refreshing pool. You have the option to heat the pool for an additional fee, any time of the year! Paradise Point also has a floating dock perfect to store your boat, take a ride in the kayak or to enjoy as you play in the water. Spend the day laying in the hammock and an evening in the hot tub or around the fire pit! It is a short drive to either Ocean Isle Beach or Holden Beach. At the point you will be close to the beach, yet at a private, serene getaway. Paradise Point has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths downstairs. All bathrooms have been recently renovated. Upstairs you will find 2 bedrooms and one bath plus a bunk area and loft with comfortable seating and a smart TV. There is free wifi throughout the house. On the main level there is a fully stocked kitchen. 4 people can sit at the island and there is a table that sits 6-8 guests. The family room has reclining chairs and a 65" TV mounted over the electric fireplace. But, the most breathtaking part of the house is stepping out to the oversized deck. The deck has an eating area, a propane firepit with captains chairs, a propane grill and a screened porch. Under the porch we have an underdeck with a hot tub, tiki bar, charcoal grill, and sitting area. Under the house, we have a ping pong table! Within walking distance is a fabulous restaurant, The Inlet View Bar and Grill (open mid February to end of November). The kids can enjoy endless hours playing in the pool, playing ping pong, looking for sea shells or hermit crabs, catching stone crabs in the crab trap or playing in the sand area down by the water. Paradise Point is a great location with lots to do for children and adults of all ages!

Property was just as described and more! Everything was clean. The pier/dock was covered and newly built. We enjoyed a lot of fishing time. Due to the wake from the boats, using the kayaks were out. There is a ton of boat traffic in the channel.Gretchen was wonderful to communicate with, absolutely no issues. The beds in two of the upstairs bedrooms are full size, would have preferred queens but we made it work.Thank you for a great stay!

We loved this home. It was beautiful, well appointed and the setting was great. It was fun to be out on the dock, or sitting by the pool, or in the pool, or sitting in the hot tub, or preparing meals in the fabulous kitchen, etc. We rented a pontoon one day, and jet skis another - all on the intercoastal waterway. We had a blast! The only disappointments had to do with the effects of salt water air. There were rusty hinges, rusty nails exposed everywhere out on the deck, the main door to the deck, along with the rusty effect on the ping pong table and the garden tools. These outcomes can not be stopped, but they can be remediated...and I feel like they have been ignored longer than necessary. Also, the hot tub had a leak - though this didn't distract us from our total enjoyment of it. Overall, the place is wonderful - just needs some remediation.

Look no further. Excellent property, beautiful pool, amazing gazebo on pier to enjoy cool breezes, great kitchen for cooking, comfy beds, thick soft towels, walk to a really good restaurant and more. Even caught red drum right off the pier. We will definitely be coming back!

Great Spot

Hostess was very timely when asked questions and had concerns. Property and house was very clean. We enjoyed all the amenities there was to offer. We caught crabs off the dock and ate dinner. The sea shells were awesome. Overall we would definitely book again. I would give more stars if I could!!

Family Wedding

The stay was great! Even though it was cold, the place was great. The kids loved the sand beach. Dolphins came by and the kids were amazed. The house was clean, well stacked, beautiful. We will definitely stay here again!

Summer Getaway

The property was beautiful and had a great view of the inter coastal waterway. Plenty of space for a family with lots of gathering spots inside and out. Our host Gretchen was always available to answer a question and was a joy to work with. We will definitely be going back!

Something for everyone

Whether you want a heated pool, hot tub, screened in porch to read, dock to fish and or watch ships and dolphins, this property doesn’t disappoint. We had a great time and look forward to returning.

Beautiful

Nice organized clean kitchen to cook and eat in, comfy beds, clean bathrooms, lots of space to spread out. Swimming, sunbathing, book reading in screened porch, hot tub, fishing, campfire with s'mores, boat watching, beautiful moon view over the water, cozy TV, games, complete with watching lightning in the distance our last night. Close to shopping, many Beaches, sunset at sunset Beach, arcade, bowling and just an amazing view.

Nice! We had a great time the place is so nice! Hot tub, Pool, River my grandkids live close, so they came over to visit and had a ball. I texted with the host and each time she was right on it getting back to me and helping me out. Love the place Love the view and love being NOT in the hustle an bustle of tourist town! short drive to fantastic food (Smoke and Oyster Rock my favorites) pier fishing was good even in December. You will enjoy a nice relaxing place with a lot to do! Roland

Great family vacation

What a wonderful time! The interior of the home is decorated so nice and very comfortable. The property is very convenient to grocery stores. We enjoyed everything from the heated pool, to the pier with the swing and the hot tub. Our host was top notch and very responsive. I would recommend this home for your family get aways.

Unbelievable

This was our 10th year renting beach houses we normally do OBX but in all the years this one was my favorite. The house, location and amenities were top notch. I have fished Brunswick county coastal waters for 20+years and this has one of the best fishing holes around right off the dock. Our family made priceless memories to last a lifetime we will definitely be back!!

Paradise Point is definitely paradise!

We had the best week at Paradise Point. The house has everything you could want in a vacation home. We enjoyed the pool, fishing off the pier, grilling out and grandkids loved the sandy beach area. Plenty of parking for cars and room for our boat trailer. Gretchen always answered any questions very promptly. We are already booked for next year!

My husband, Matt, and I have been married for 22 years. We have 2 children ages 20 and 18, a boy and a girl. We enjoy playing sports, hanging out with friends and family, attending Church, and most of all, going to Paradise Point!

This property has been in my husband's family since the 1930's. This house was built by his Aunt and Uncle and we had the opportunity to buy it in the summer of 2015. My husband grew up fishing and playing on this property and waterways and we have been coming here since we started dating. He even proposed to me on the pier of our new house over the 3rd of July, 2002. When we had the opportunity to buy the house, we just could not pass it up. It is a secret spot that is truly paradise!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The Views at Paradise Point are like no others. We frequently see yachts, barges, sailboats and shrimp boats go by. When fishing we have caught various fish, sting rays, eels, flounder, trout, and even an octopus! It is so much fun to leave the crab trap out and see what you get or to put out the minnow trap and use fresh minnow for bait. If you enjoy fishing, this is the place for you. And, if you don't fish, you will have so much fun watching (and may enjoy fishing after this experience). There is a man-made beach beside the water but the actual waterfront is located on an oyster shell bank. While this requires swimmers to wear water shoes, it also allows for entertaining sea shell and crab hunting. We also have a beautiful pool with a fire pit seating area beside it and an underdeck with a hot tub, tiki bar, tv and more! The most relaxing thing about Paradise Point to me is watching the sunset. It is just a breathtaking time of day. We have several different outdoor sitting areas so you can see if from a slightly different spot every day! We love to eat in so there is a fully stocked kitchen and a grill for your use. However, if you choose to eat out, the Inlet View Bar and grill is within walking distance (.1 miles). If you enjoy site seeing, historical areas, or touristy events; Wilmington and Myrtle Beach are 45 minutes away. The beach is an easy 10 minute drive but nothing beats coming back to Paradise Point!
