The property has 4 private individual villas each with breathtaking views of the bay. The Coral Studio is located right on a stretch of a secluded beach in the world-famous Magens Bay. This private St. Thomas vacation villa rental offers a world of natural beauty and serenity to discerning travelers. Nestled amid lush vibrant flowers and tropical trees with an enormous vista of shimmering bay waters right at your disposal, this is the perfect oasis for discovering the true meaning of a Caribbean paradise. In addition to the peaceful seclusion provided by the villa, guests will find the vibrant nightlife, charming boutiques, and fine dining restaurants of St. Thomas just twenty minutes away from home. Whatever brings you to St. Thomas, once you stay with us you will join the many number of our guests who return and tell their friends and relatives, "Stay at Villa Eau Claire. It was extraordinary."
This villa measures 800 square feet and is situated at a small elevation just above the sandy beach, accessible via a short stairway. Inside a spacious living room has been comfortably furnished for leisurely afternoons spent indoors, and a kitchenette has been well-equipped for your convenience which includes a mini refrigerator. A spacious deck runs the length of the unit, offering premier al fresco living/dining experiences ā€“ especially beautiful when the sun sets each night.
This is our Coral "Studio" Villa and can accommodate 2 people comfortably. This studio features a plush king bed and a large living area.
Villa Eau Claire has undergone recent renovations to the property. Freshly painted, beautiful new landscaping, outdoor lighting, and new decor make this villa relaxing and enjoyable. The villas are large and inviting and the bedrooms private and peaceful. Once you have experienced this idyllic location you will return year after year. We absolutely love the location, sitting on the patio watching the turtles swimming in the bay. The owner was very responsive to all of our questions and we 100% recommend his villa! Comfortable and clean, well stocked, five star stay.

Fantastic Property

My wife and I wanted a location on Meganā€™s Bay kind of off the beaten path away from all the hubbub and this is perfect location for that. We swam every day with the turtles and the property was beautiful and the unit furnished with everything you need for an extended stay highly recommend.

Quiet Getaway!

This is a great place to stay for couples. Very clean with water access that is amazing. Fun to watch the pelicans, sea turtles, and fish. Snorkeling is great. Rick is very friendly and having a new deck built which will be great in the future. You should not hesitate to book it! :)

Amazing get away

We stayed in the one bedroom efficiency, which was perfect for my husband and I. Property was as advertised very clean excellent view short drive to Megans bay. Saint Thomas has so much to offer. For the two weeks we were there, we were going and doing something new nearly every day. Amazing restaurants on the island. It was a blast.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

EXPECT ZERO SLEEP HERE at all, because the owner lives in the condo above and his floor/ your ceiling is super thinā€¦ You will hear all the stomping, every flush, sneeze, conversation, every yelling argument. You will only have enough silence to sleep from 3am to 6am. Almost NO WIFI OR INTERNET CONNECTION AT ALL, zero. CRAZY AMOUNT OF MOSQUITOS that wont let you sleep, because the front door is broken with huge gaps that allows all kinds of mosquitos and other animals in like bees, no matter how much you fumigate the holes will bring the forest IN. WINDOW CURTAINS ARE BROKEN and therefore you cannot block the sunlight so be prepared to have ZERO sleep after sunrise 6am. CHECK IN and CHECK OUT is TERRIBLE... you will need to carry your own bags down and up for your check out a very steep sloped dangerously slippery hill 3 blocks down with no help and then down and up broken slippery stairs which are a dangerous hazard. Owner hired contractors that make all kinds of noise while you are in property all throughout the day and given there were no curtains be you have zero privacy. After paying a hefty cleaning fee, you're still expected to climb up your own garbage 15 blocks away from property, to the garbage center!! NOT ENOUGH HOT WATER - Only enough for one 5 min shower for one person, not 2. MINI FRIDGE LIKE A HOTEL - No real refrigerator big enough for food past 2 days. I would have loved to recommend this property because I travel the world professionally and have done so for over 28 years, working with hundreds of companies and thousands of people... However I am known for being 100% truthful to my 2.4 million + followers, so I don't want to let them be fooled by misleading pictures and videos. If you want a full video of everything I described, I will be happy to send it.

Paradise found!

What an amazing location! This is our 2nd time staying at the Villa Eau Claire, but we rented a different villa. It was just as magical the 2d time around. We snorkeled with sea turtles and even saw a flowery founder and tarpons right by the private beach. We sat on the deck and watched dive bombing pelicans. It was a magical 5 days. Weā€™ll be back!

St. Thomas Gem

Wow. What an outstanding property on Peterborg Peninsula on the isle of St. Thomas. Multi-Million dollar vistas abound from the balconies overlooking Megan's Bay. The area is very safe (gated), quiet, and central to explore all parts of the island via day trips. The stairway leading to the semi-private beach was easily traversed and safe. The beach is small, but you can easily wade to Little Megan's Beach or wade further to Megan's beach. The beach, views, and the pristine water was the highlight of our stay. We will always remember enjoying morning coffee on the spacious balcony watching the local fisherman net their catch and observing the Pelicans dive for their breakfast. There are 3-4 villas on the property with a shared laundry facility, so there will be minimal other guests on property. Our villa was well equipped and well appointed for our one week stay. We didn't need AC, but it was available. We highly recommend staying at this beautiful property. We will be back for sure. Thanks Rick and Chris for hosting us. We will certainly tell all our friends to make accommodations with you.

We loved our stay here! Would definitely recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The water was so gorgeous and the views were to die for! I went with my boyfriend to celebrate my 30th. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet this home offered. We felt like we were on our own island oasis. We really enjoyed swimming or walking to the bar near by for pina coladas. The bed was really comfy and the entire place was very clean! We cooked many of the nights there. I will say this place is definitely for people who are active. The beach access does get a bit limited during high tide so we swam to the beach next door but if you're not a good swimmer or don't want to walk on the rocks I would see this being an issue. Also there was no grill which was a bit disappointing :( Overall we really loved it! The property management team did great helping us and the recommendations from the host were super helpful.

Beautiful Location, Nice Property

We started off our visit with several problems. First of all there was no one to lead us to the property as some of the other reviews stated. I understand the person had a family emergency and couldn't be there. When we arrived in St. Thomas and rented our car we had a great deal of difficulty finding the villa. There are no street signs and in the dark, going over the mountain to the Magen's bay area was a real challenge. After two hours driving around in the dark, we finally found the place. By this time it was 8:30 at night. I was sent a couple of pictures of the property and the gate fob and unit key. We walked to a unit and the door was open as stated, with the key and fob on the counter as was in the picture. We unpacked our clothes and my other half went to bed, as we had been travelling for over 26 hours. I tried to get the TV working and couldn't figure it out so I called the owner for help. He determined that we were in the wrong unit!!! I had to get my partner out of bed and pack all of our belongings up and move to another unit. NONE of the units are marked in any way, no numbers, names, etc. so we had no idea we were in the wrong unit. Now it is after 10:00 at night so we settled in to sleep. In the morning we were awakened by a fishing boat right outside of the unit laying large nets out and their 2 cycle motor was most obnoxious. Then an hour later, we heard a knock on our door. It was another couple of guests that couldn't find their unit either! I suggested they call the owner and I guess they did. A little while later they came to our unit again and wanted to BORROW our rental car!!?? The next morning, we started to make breakfast and discovered there was no table or chairs in the unit to sit at! We found a rusty little table on the balcony and moved it inside. Then to sit on the balcony to have our coffee a little later, we had to move it and the chairs back onto the deck. I turned on the little TV and discovered the sound was worse than a cell phone. I think for what amounted to about $300 per night there could be a better TV and at least a couple of decent chairs and a table. We decided to play a couple of DVDs from the selection in the unit only to find there was no DVD player. The next morning, the home next door had a very loud, gas powered weed eater and blower working for 2 hours. NO instruction on how to exit the gate and give the fob back so a maid helped us. We will not return here.

Slice of paradise with the best view in St. Thomas

My wife and I had an incredible time staying in the studio unit at Villa Eau Claire. You wonā€™t find a better place for the price I can guarantee it. The view of Magens Bay and the surrounding mountains is simply outstanding. The water is pristine, calm, and a beautiful green-blue. Youā€™ll see plenty of sea turtles from the deck. There was one larger yacht parked nearby in the bay when we arrived but they left soon after. Depending on the time of year you may see more yachts and sailboats moored in the bay. We were there in September which is the off season and pretty quiet around the island in general. We spent many days lounging on Little Magens Bay which is a short wading through the water around the rocks, and in the water right out front. Thereā€™s a nice little snorkel spot at a shipwrecked sailboat just off Little Magens. Watch your step on the stairs getting down there if itā€™s rained recently. The big beach at Magens Bay is a few minutes drive away or Wade through the water to get there if youā€™re feeling a little adventurous. As for the condo itself ( studio ) youā€™ll find it is well cleaned and taken care of. Thereā€™s a washer and drier for use in the basement / laundry room if you need it which is shared by the other units. If you are planning to cook a lot you may find the kitchen a little cramped with a smaller sink and small electric cooktop. There is a coffee maker and a microwave. The fridge is mini fridge style so if you plan on keeping a lot of stuff cold I would recommend maybe getting an extra cooler and some ice. Youā€™ll want to buy bottled water for drinking. Julia the caretaker will be in contact with you shortly before arrival for info on checking in and out, and Rick might be staying upstairs if you need anything. I canā€™t thank Rick enough for his hospitality. Go ahead and book it you wonā€™t regret it

Perfection!

I donā€™t see how there could be a better property on the island! Upon arrival the property manager met us at the airport so we could follow her back to the Villa. She gave us a tour and recommended a place for dinner (Meat Up which had great food). The beds were comfortable enough and there was plenty of storage space which I really appreciate, as well as clothes hangers! Rick was very friendly and I wish weā€™d had more time to visit; we will just have to go back! The water was up so the beach at the villa was mostly underwater but Little Meganā€™s bay is just steps away (through the water) and you can get to Meganā€™s bay with just a short walk or swim. We could see turtles from our balcony, sometimes 5 at once and we thoroughly enjoyed watching the pelicans and the sunset. There are a lot of steps which didnā€™t bother us but could be a problem for some. I can only think of two things that could be added - a hammock for afternoon naps and an ice maker. Thank you so much for sharing your home! We would love to come back some day!

Perfect location

There are dozens of beautiful beaches in St. Thomas but most days I didn't even want to leave. Why would you when the view was so gorgeous and you could take a swim or snorkel just be descending the steps. Loved watching the turtles and pelicans. Also spotted a shark swimming near the shore (pretty sure it was a nurse shark) and on our last evening had a ray jumping out of the water near us. Great quiet location. Loved sleeping with the doors open the the sound of waves below. Unit was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect for our Honeymoon

We stayed at Villa Eau Claire for our honeymoon last week and loved it, the place is clean and have amazing views of Magens Bay! We never got tired of having breakfast with that view on our balcony. Our unit had a small kitchen with everything you could possibly need to prepare meals, coffee. Etc (make sure to do a small grocery shopping for essentials). Place included towels, iron, kitchen appliances, soap, shampoo, Bluetooth speaker, TV, and mosquito repellent. Bed was pretty comfortable too. The villa has access to a beautiful small private beach.

Caring Owners

The owners are what make this place. They are genuinely invested in making sure you have a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. If you plan on playing loud music and partying, do everyone a favor and stay elsewhere (afterall it is a 4-unit condo). This place is solely about being in the water, listening to the sounds of nature, and enjoying peace and quiet. Leave the radio at home. Best vacation ever!

We absolutely fell in love! Everyone was so friendly and Julia went out of her way to help show us where to buy groceries and answer any questions we had! We loved it so much we actually extended our stay and Rick helped to accommodate us in another available unit. We will most definitely be back! Already looking at dates to book again :)

A GEM!

This place was truly a gem! My husband and I stayed in the Villa Eau Claire studio suite and could not have been happier with our stay or recommend it more highly! The views from the balcony are some of the absolute best on the island and our mornings spent turtle watching were some of our favorites. We looked at a lot of the hotels on the island and other rental properties and are SO glad we chose Villa Eau Claire! We're already talking about making a return trip!

Love Villa Eau Claire

What a beautiful, comfortable, amazing property. Every morning we awoke to sunshine and crystal blue water. We drank coffee (bloody mary & mimosa too) on the deck and watched the Pelicans fly and fish. We took the time to hike to Megans Bay Beach and enjoyed the top 10 beach with hundreds of others. The rest of the week we enjoyed an almost private beach not far from our steps, Little Magens Beach. Quiet, secluded and with options... The staff met us at the ferry terminal (we had been sailing the BVI the week prior) and showed us to the property to ensure we were settled in. We recommend Villa Eau Claire. Amazing Stay at Magens Bay

We had a great stay. Magens Bay is even more beautiful than the pictures show. The property was very clean with convenient beach access. I would recommend renting a car to access this location.

From the house you can enjoy swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, paddle-boarding, fishing, and much more.Villa Eau Claire is a beautiful multi-unit villa with its own private beach access. The 4 private units are surrounded by flower and fruit trees, which make it a tropical paradise unto its own.
Villa Eau Claire is located on the beautiful Magens Bay. Magens Bay is known for its tranquil and warm waters. The bay is filled with many varieties of sea life, and is an amazing snorkeling adventure.
