Amazing 200 years old finca refurbished to the actual size and comfort. Situated in one of the best places in Lanzarote, with a view of the sea and the sea. Big private terrace with a 10m swimming pool and large solarium to sun bath. All day sun !! The swimming pool is only for adults and swimmers, free solar heated, thermic cover and also electrically heated on request (at extra charge) Beautiful and wide Canarian garden. The house has an entrance porch with wooden roof and an old bread oven. A big separate kitchen, a huge dinning room with a high wood ceiling, a separate and spacious living room with great sea views and a terrace overlooking the swimming pool and Fuerteventura. One master bedroom with a king bed and ensuite shower room with sea views from the bed. Two other bedrooms with large private patio overlooking the patio, one with a queen bed and the third bedroom with two single beds. One big family bathroom. Outside gas kitchen with BBQ grill and plancha. Space, calm, privacy, comfort, charm and beauty. Needs a car rental. Free Wifi and free Netflix.

4th time staying here but this time in the beautiful house. Definitely worth staying here. Very qiuiet and secluded, with beautiful views.

We had a lovely relaxing week! The whole place was spotless and comfortable. Very spacious private villa but close to the town/airport if needed. Beautiful views to the coast and across the sea. The check in process was straightforward and Ana communicated with us throughout which made the whole process very easy. Highly recommended! Thank you Ana!

Quiet Retreat

We had a lovely quiet time, the villa had everything we needed, was well appointed and Ana and Hans gave us lots of information about the area. They were very good hosts. The villa was very well situated, a short drive got you back into the hustle and bustle on the beach or near good restaurants and then back to the quiet of the villa.

Summer holiday

Absolutely fantastic villa , big, clean, beautiful, stunning views and pool! We had a fantastic relaxing holiday just what we needed, I can’t thank the owners enough for letting this villa. You do need a car but only a short drive to most places. Absolutely will visit this villa again

Wonderful

A lovely villa, beautiful view, walking distance from the local shop but need a car to go anywhere else, Ana the owner wasn't there but kept in touch to make sure everything was OK and let us know when her team would be coming for a midweek clean and pool clean. Recommend this to anyone that is after a peaceful holiday.

A fantastic, peaceful and picturesque gem.

A lovely, well-designed villa with both an expansive living area and a large pool area offering complete privacy. We loved our 2 week stay here in August/September 2018, as we were looking for total relaxation and peace and quiet. This villa certainly offers both in spades. The owner of the villa cannot do enough for you and nothing is too much trouble. Great communication. Highly recommended.

A wonderful, peaceful location for a relaxing break. Great advice from owner in advance via emails about shops, bars, restaurants, attractions etc. Great views and not over looked. Local village 5 minute walk but no path in places. Bar open Wednesday to Saturday and one small shop. Everything you need within 5 minute drive though. Tee shirt weather even though we had a couple of overcast days with drizzle.

If you prefer staying in authentic properties full of character this is the ideal property for you. The setting is calm and peaceful - the only sound is the sound of birds. The view is outstanding, looking across to the ocean and out to Fuerteventura. The stars are clearly visible at night and there are lots of seating areas to enjoy the views. Inside the property there is everything you need for a very comfortable stay. The kitchen has all of the utensils that you need and you can easily cater for yourself if you don't want to go out. If you do want to go out then there are restaurants in the village or in the nearest resorts which are only 10 mins drive away. The beds are very comfortable and there is plenty of storage for clothes and cases. The owner is really responsive and helpful to any queries and a slight problem we had was resolved very quickly and efficiently. I can totally recommend this property - we had a wonderful time.

A special place

From the moment we booked this finca we knew it was something special. Ana the host is a lovely lady and we were provided with so much information about the finca, detailed directions along with things to do, restaurants etc. We were lucky enough to meet Ana and Hans when there was a problem with the Wi-Fi which was fixed almost immediately. This property is situated in a quiet area with amazing views out to sea, it is filled with lots of thoughtful touches, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The outside space is large with a pool terrace with plenty of seating and a lovely garden area. You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay in this holiday property. Thank you so much xx

Past its Best Days

Our host Ana was responsive, reassuring and helpful when water and electricity cut off without warming. Ana rises above the limitations of her ancient Finca which has seen better days. Better to avoid this property if over 5ft 10inches tall (head height restrictions) or difficulty with innumerable random steps. Driveway to Finca Cantera is unmade, narrow and bumpy which is rather wearing after a time. Would not re-book.

Hi Tony, I’m really surprised about your negative review because I’m still have your mails where you said how wonderful the Finca was, that the Finca was everything you were wishing for and even that the 5 stars of the Finca la Cantera were more than deserved. And these are all your words. I don’t understand you. You don’t even mention that you complained about the fridge been noisy and even that the fridge was perfectly working I run to buy a new one and within the 2 days the new fridge was installed and working. I took care of everything. You mistaken the booking dates but I arranged it for you. I even propose you a late check in and you were very grateful and happy to enjoy a few more hours the wonderful Finca. What happened then? You complain because they cut down the electricity for a couple of hours during doing street works? Or because the Canarian inhabitants 150 years ago were thin and small size? Because the access is a dirty path in the countryside that belongs to the town? In any case there is anything I could do about it. Well Tony, I insist, im very surprised that you have change your opinion about Finca la Cantera but it’s your opinion and I respect it. 99% of our guests are very pleased and they enjoy very much their stay at the beautiful Finca!

Welcome to Paradise

This is definitely the best holiday home we have ever booked over the last 10 years in several locations of Southern Europe!! Starting with a very smart booking procedure, accompanied with very helpful emails and hints from the owner Ana til the arrival with the handover of the keys! Entering the house we were absolutely flashed of the very tasteful and cozy interior design, the 100-% cleanness of the finca, the wonderful and completely equipped kitchen where you find definitely everything you need, including several cooler bags, tabs and salt for the (brand new) dishwasher-machine, different (aluminum-) foils etc. and the very good and comfortable bedrooms including the new mattresses! And then the views!! Either from the pool level with different cozy seating & sunbathing areas or the above terrace facing the living room, both with sun from morning to evening with an amazing sunset!! If you’re looking for total shade you will find it on the beautiful covered patio at the entrance decorated with typical local, ancient objects to let you forget that you are in a rented holiday home! All in all these were the best and most relaxing holidays we ever had due to the absolutely beautiful surroundings and total calmness, at daytime and nighttime! Many thanks to Ana & Hans for the warm welcome and the creation of such a wonderful retreat! That was definitely not the last time we booked your beautiful finca!! Kind regards Stefan & Gabriela

Finca idéalement située (près de l’aéroport sans aucune nuisance, près de la mer, des sites d'intérêt, des commerces essentiels...)bon équipement vaisselle en grande quantité Hôtes adorables, aux petits soins pour que tout se passe pour le mieux ( indications sur visites, restaurant, manifestation avant séjour et pendant, réactivité en cas de souci, ...)Si nous retournons à Lanzarote ce sera ici et pas ailleurs.

Didier et sa famille seront toujours les bienvenus à notre maison. Une famille adorable, sympas, aimables, communicatifs. Ils sont peut très bien soin de la maison et ils sont tout laissé bien rangé et propre. On attend son retour un jour par ce qu’ils n’ont vraiment pas eu de chance avec le temps pendant son séjour À recommander!!

traumhafte finca in ruhiger lage

sehr schöne finca in ruhiger lage mit panoramablick über das meer. stilvoll eingerichtet und komplett ausgestattet mit allem, was das urlauberherz begehrt. die vermieterin Ana könnte nicht freundlicher sein und hat auf wunsch sehr gute tipps für alles rings um den urlaub parat. unbedingt empfehlenswert!!!

Einmalig schön

Unseren 3-wöchigen Aufenthalt haben wir vom ersten bis zum letzten Tag sehr genossen. Wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Urlaub in dieser herrlichen Finca mit Charakter, abseits vom Tourismustrubel. Ana ist eine äußerst aufmerksame Gastgeberin und sorgt mit ihrem professionellen Team (Beatriz - eine Perle) wöchentlich für frische Wäsche und Sauberkeit in und um die Finca. Ihre wertvollen Tipps (Ausflugsziele und Restaurants), die Ana im voraus zuschickt, sind Spitze.

Sehr schön!

Die Finca ist kein Standard-Ferienhaus, sondern ein individuell gestaltetes, wohnliches und gemütliches Wohnhaus. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut. Im Außenbereich gibt es zum einen eine überdachte, schattige Sitzgruppe sowie den wunderschönen, uneinsehbaren Poolbereich. Sowohl von hier als auch vom Balkon hat man eine spektakuläre Aussicht aufs Meer bis hin nach Fuerteventura. Der Ort ist sehr ruhig, liegt aber ziemlich zentral, so dass alle Ziele leicht erreicht werden können, ein Leihwagen ist aber notwendig. Die sympathischen Besitzer sind sehr hilfsbereit und geben gute Tipps z.B. für Restaurantbesuche. Wir haben uns zwei Wochen lang dort sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Traumurlaub

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in der Finca La Cantera sehr genossen. Im Original ist es noch schöner wie auf den Bildern. Die traumhafte Aussicht und der tolle Pool machen es schwer das Haus zu verlassen. Ana ist eine tolle Gastgeberin und immer sofort erreichbar wenn man Fragen hat.

Es war einfach ein Traum

Die Finca ist super sauber, toll eingerichtet und die Küche ist super toll bestückt. Der Pool sowie die Finca wurden 1 x wöchentlich sauger gemacht. Die Vermieterin Ana ist ein Goldstück - sie hilft bei allen Belangen. Der Golfplatz ist 6 Min entfernt und die Innenstadt ca 10 Min. Alles super toll zu erreichen. Wir kommen nächstes Jahr wieder. Fantastic place to stay

The property is fantastic and made our holiday so much better. - the views from the main bedroom were brilliant, my fiance often lay in bed just looking at the sea/sky - huge hall with big table made meals feel special - the pool was well maintained and having it to ourselves made it peaceful - location was great to travel around the island, going north was easy as was going south - kitchen fully equipped made making meals easy - place was immaculate, no dirt/dust which for a dusty island is impressive We will definitely be coming back here again for years to come.

The finca is gorgeous! The owners gave us a warm welcome and the communication was excellent. Ana gave us loads of tips that were very good. We were greeted with a bottle of delicious wine! The finca is very nicely furnished, just like in the pictures. The pool is big and we could use it every day. The finca is quiet and you can really relax there. We will definitely come back again.

Fantastic Finca with amazing views…

Ana was a wonderful host, she provided us with so much information about the Finca, excursions and restaurants. And all of her suggestions were spot on. Lovely, large Finca, the views from the kitchen, lounge and master bedroom were awesome. Antique wood furniture combined with nice furnishings and art work made for a lovely interior. Very clean, warm pool, again with a fantastic view. Nothing at all to find fault with…and a wonderful island with so many things to see and do. A volcanic wonderment, architecturally rich and excellent seafood restaurants. Thank you Ana!
