The Hawk Haven has awesome views and is a newly updated cabin with many extras

New construction with awesome views and privacy. 2 bedrooms 2 baths full kitchen and washer and dryer. Living room is open to the mountains and a fireplace to sit by. Back deck overlooks the mountains, and you will see game roaming the land. Unique hot tub on the back deck overlooking the mountains for you to enjoy those cool nights. Very private but only a couple of miles to downtown Mtn. View, Blanchard Springs and the famous White River. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me and I will answer all you have.

This cabin was amazing! The property manager was very responsive to questions. The view was amazing. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit. It was a perfect spot for a girls’ getaway.

We stayed at this cabin several years ago. It is my understanding that it has new owners. We LOVED how they changed the decor. It is such a beautiful cabin with its senic views, but everything inside was very nice. Great hosts who answered our questions. Extra little things in the cabin such as pantry staples, extra blankets, etc. were great. We will definitely be back!

It was very clean. Recent updates to security, kitchen, bathrooms, floors. Love the smart tvs and hot tub. Sheets and pillows were comfy, and the space was perfect for hubby and I. The kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked and equipped with everything we needed. We definitely plan to return possibly in the Spring with our teenager.

Great cabin, very well maintained and supplied with everything you need!! Location is minutes from town but far enough out to enjoy the wildlife and the view is amazing! Highly recommend and we plan to visit again next year!!

Manager never responded to calls. Had chirping smoke alarm and kitchen shelf that collapsed. We had to handle these ourselves and with help of neighbor down the road. Did not use hot tub. Kitchen was well furnished for cooking.

Beautiful cabin right outside of Mountain View. The view is outstanding. We saw deer several mornings in the yard. It was very clean. The owners left us sour dough bread and fresh eggs. Hope to visit again next year!

Just a beautiful, clean and quaint cabin! Rented it for the view as well and it did not disappoint! Nature fix, indeed!The extras were so unexpected and delicious! They left us homemade breads and fresh eggs. Oh, delicious. The cleanliness was perfect-a must for us. Memorable experience!! Will rent again and again when in the area. Want seclusion-BINGO!! Thanks so much!

Perfection

My husband and I stayed at Hawk Haven to decompress and celebrate our 21st anniversary. The hosts thought of EVERYTHING! We could have stayed here forever. Such classy decor with fabulous amenities. Absolute 10/10

Perfection

The Hawk Haven cabin was exceptionally perfect. My husband and I wanted to bring our 8 year old son on a mini vacation and this trip did not disappoint. My parents came up for two nights and the cabin fit us all perfectly. All the amenities provided and the little extras felt like we were being welcomed by family.

Perfection!

Easy checkin/out, Lovely kitchen with guest gourmet bread and farm fresh eggs. Lots of light from windows everywhere. TVs in every room even above hot tub outside. Nicest VRBO we've stayed in and we've stayed in many access the US. Highly recommend!!

Hawk Haven is Awesome!

Hawk Haven was just as described: very clean, great location, great view, and it had everything we needed to be comfortable while we were in Mtn. View. I highly recommend it, and would love the chance to stay there again.

Great cabin

We had a wonderful stay at Hawk Haven. It was clean, quiet, and exactly what our family needed. There was plenty of room for our family of 6 and we loved the decor of the cabin. It had a great back porch with plenty of seating, where we ate most of our meals with a beautiful view. The kiddos played in the outdoor tub while watching their favorite movies and loved cooking smores down at the fire pit. The house was close to town, making runs for food or extras easy. We also loved that the deer came in the mornings and we could watch from the back porch or the comfort of the living room, through the large back porch windows. Thanks for a great experience.

Relaxing and peaceful

Our stay at Hawk Haven was great. It was secluded and very peaceful. The hot tub and the fireplace made it much more relaxing. After hiking each day it was nice to relax in the hot tub. It was nice to be able to sit out on the back deck each morning to drink coffee and watch the deer come out and eat.

Bad Experience

Overall the cabin had good amenities . Our problem came from the omission of "Owner Controlled Temperature in cabin." When we arrived at ck in time it was rainey & cold. Expecting to be warm inside, only to find the temp could not be adjusted by us. It said owner had temperature locked. We are older adults with health issues,one man is fighting cancer, and if it had stated so before we booked we would have made other arrangements. I called the after hours number listed around 8pm that night and never got a call back. We spent a miserable night being cold. Sometime the next day somehow we were finally able to change the temperature inside the cabin, so i guess they responded without the courtesy of a phone call.

Little piece of heaven

Wished we could have stayed longer at this aptly named haven! So peaceful and beautifully located out by itself but still just a few minutes from town. It was more than adequately stocked with everything you could need and the smell of cedar inside was just heavenly! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I hope to return soon with girlfriends!
