SCAM! FRAUDULENT LISTING! We got a full refund bc the listing advertises pictures that are NOT the unit they are renting. The unit is filthy, bugs, hair, droppings, rust, black mold, stains everywhere, etc.

home away from home

We have stayed in this building previously because we visit family on KB, and it is a great location with all the amenities. So easy to go to the beach and watch the sunrise. Very convenient to stores and restaurants. Will stay again! One suggestion, have beach towels or tell people they need to bring them.

Little hidden gem

Weā€™ve stayed here a few times and love the location and space. I did have problems getting in touch with the owner about adding an additional day, so communication could be improved. Otherwise this is a lovely place to watch the sunrise.

Perfect location

The location was absolutely perfect and the grounds were very nice. The room was not the cleanest, but it was nothing that worried me. Overall very nice, could just use a deep clean.

The coral reef is wonderful, location, space, environment. BUT there is still poor cleaning of the apartments during the stay, they simply don't clean.

Horrible apartment. Unable to stay. No refund

We paid and booked this property and when we arrived the housekeeper was washing her hair in the kitchen sink and three bags of garbage sitting on the furniture. We could not stay. So dirty. Was not offered any refund. It was worst place I have ever been and the property was not what the pictures showed. Very disappointed and no compensation given. I have stayed with VRBO many times. I probably wonā€™t again.

We think these are long term apartments because they did not include ANYTHINGNO paper products Not even any salt pepperNo oven mitts The floor was DISGUSTING having to keep washing my feet because they were black from the dirty floorSent Alexandra many texts about no amenities that fell on deaf ears - a real craphole that doesn't look like the picturesMy master door wouldn't work properly and even locken me in the bedroom - just terrible

We showed up at the property and messaged the owner to find out how to get into apartment and we never heard back. We had to contact VRBO to find out what to do. We found out we needed to go to office and we were told that they had no availability and we had to book a hotel room nearby. Extremely upset! Worst experience ever!!!

Very Disappointed

The photos of this property mis-represent the condition it is in. Much of the furniture is in poor condition, the sofa and chairs were not clean. While we loved the location, we were not very comfortable within the unit due to the condition. Linens were clean, and the staff were friendly. Beach chairs are available for rent but are falling apart and beach towels are in poor condition. We would not stay here again

The unit was old and needs updating. The unit did not match the photo online. The shower was gross and there was temped water - the floors were dirty. Sliding glass door would not close. Would not recommend and would not return.

Will not stay again

Not as nice and clean as the pictures may suggest.Dirty floors. Needs a a lot of maintenance and updates. Extremely small bathrooms and one shower only misted instead of spraying. King bed in one room instead of 4 beds in total. Extremely cheap and uncomfortable couch. Sliding door didnā€™t latch. Ants in the bathroom. Pool barely gets any sun. Beach is 5 minutes away. Posting said check out 11am but they tried to kick us out at 10am. Fire alarm went off in the middle of the night for no reason. No hand washing soap. Tried to contact before getting there and no one responded. Random door connecting units blocked by a bed. Very bare. No storage, drawers, etc. Very disappointing.

Lovely place to stay in Key Biscayne

This is the third time we have stayed here and usually have a better experience. It is in a very convenient location, close to the beach as well as shops. It has a great amount of space for a family and is super cute. There is a disparity between what VRBO communicates and what the owner thinks VRBO communicates. All we got was a confirmation with a street address, nothing about the unit. At 10 pm We had to contact the owner and wait. The A/C did not work. The shower dripped water 24/7. The dishes in the cabinet were dirty. Some guy smoked in the hotel golf cart parked right outside our window. They tell you the beach key in the room is the most important key and they charge for a lost one, but did not even give us one. The owner insisted that the email you get has all the info about the reception desk, how to get beach and pool towels, but it has none of that. She was not interested in improving the communication. We will stay again but will be better prepared for what all we need to do.

Apartment was in a nice area and a short walking distance to the ocean. Place was not clean, sheets did not fit the beds (although the beds were comfy), no water pressure in the shower, two rolls of toliet paper, one kitchen towel, one bath towel per person for a 5 day stay & no maid service. Also the pool was filthy with debrie and hair. Pictures are very deceiving. This place has untapped potential!!!

Mini vacation

The property was very centrally located. Short walk to beach and some restaurants. Attended a wedding at the ritz Carlton and walked there. My only complaint was that the master shower had zero water pressure and took 15 min for the water to heat up. The other shower was not like that. Overall for the price it was a great place to stay.

The location was great, we had a wedding at the Ritz Carlton next door. The apartment was clean but the bed was very uncomfortable, the walls very thin. Heard people talking and running all night long. In the early morning heard furniture moving upstairs. I think we had about 2 hours of sleep.

Great location and size; could use upgrades

Overall, this unit was far better than the reviews ā€” clean but bare bones. Before we arrived, I texted the host about an early check-in and was easily accommodated. Many pictures show a couch and two sitting chairs, in addition to a kitchen table and chairs, but ours did not have the sitting chairs. Wear and tear on almost all the furniture is very evident (lots of stains), and the place could use a big magic eraser. The couch is incredibly uncomfortable and I donā€™t think anyone could actually sleep on it. Springs seem to be actually poking nearly through. The beds were decent ā€” especially once we found comforters in the closets. No dresser in the room with two twins, just a nightstand for drawer space, but the closet is large. You can hear everything the neighbors are doing. When we arrived, the stove didnā€™t work, but we messaged the host and they immediately sent housekeeping, who quickly figured out that someone had unplugged it. The refrigerator should be replaced, as the door is askew enough that it has to be slammed shut and still leaves a gap above the seal on the refrigerator door. It also froze all of our drinks but oddly none of the food. The dishwasher looks brand new. The beach is a short walk away (couple of blocks), right next to the Ritz. We didnā€™t use the pool, but it and the furniture look nice and clean. It does not seem to be heated. The description mentions pool towels as part of the amenities but there were none. There are also two grills (one gas, one charcoal) that seem to be for community use. There is also a laundry facility on-site, but we didnā€™t use that either. Plenty of places to park too. The site also says ā€œdaily housekeeping, change towels, and 24-hour front desk.ā€ None of that exists, at least right now. We stayed three nights and got no housekeeping or towel change services. There was one extra roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and two bottles each of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in each bathroom. No hand soap/bar soap or washcloths, and two bath and hand towels in each bathroom. Itā€™s possible that texting the host could have led to replacements but we didnā€™t try that. All in all, the service we requested was great. Itā€™s not the Ritz, but youā€™re not paying Ritz prices and youā€™re really close to the ocean. It served its purpose for us and we wouldnā€™t hesitate to stay here again.

Nothing like pictures

The property looked nothing like the photos inside very cheaply put together smelled like it had been closed in for quite some time not to mention when touring the apartment it had bugs (roaches ) in the kitchen area I asked for half my money back that wasn't happening also no wash cloths in the room I requested for some and I never got any was very disappointed with the money that I spent to rent this place for my birthday weekend.
