Casa de Playa is a beautifully appointed 3-level Penthouse condominium on the quiet North coast of Cozumel. Our home has four bedrooms, each with it's own full attached bathroom and giant picture windows:

Most rooms have independent thermostats so you can adjust the temperature to your ideal setting. Whether you prefer to darken your room with full-blackout shades or greet the day with breathtaking vistas, you might never get a better nightā€™s sleep.

Sit back and relax on one of three private balconies and soak up picture-perfect Cozumel sunsets and sunrises in perfect privacy and luxury. Each terrace has dining and lounging areas, giving you unparalleled 360Ā° views of the stunning blue ocean, lush jungle, quaint downtown and marina.

We want our guests to have the best of hotel amenities. Enjoy fresh linens and towels with our included daily cleaning service. Ask us about grocery shopping and private chef services (available for additional fees).

The spacious, open floor plan on the first level boasts a gorgeous dining room table that sits 12 and a comfortable teak dining table on the terrace for 8.
We offer a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a convenient bar seating area.

A laundry room with a washer and dryer is available on the first floor for ultimate convenience.

Our concierge will welcome you to the condo and do a walk-through with you, acquainting you with the space and amenities. Our staff and concierge are prepared to help you make the best of your stay with customized recommendations and assistance, including discounts for car rentals and scuba or snorkeling excursions.
Our concierge is available for our guests 24/7 to help with questions, recommendations and reservations for local activities and attractions as well as any emergency that may arise.

Your privacy and security are very important to us. Entry to the condo is through a private elevator, with key access.

There is WiFi signal throughout the condo, as well as Smart TV's with Cable channels.

The reefs in front of the building are one of Cozumelā€™s best locations for snorkeling, or you can choose to relax lounging on the pool deck. There is a fresh water shower and a sink for rinsing scuba gear on the pool deck as well.

The condo is located very centrally, only 10 minutes for everything you need: restaurants, beaches, golf, marina, shopping, sports rentals, airport and hospitals. Taxis are easy to get to and from the building, or you can walk or bike to town.

This is our family vacation home, and that means that our guests enjoy the same levels of comfort and luxury that we do. In order to ensure that our property stays beautiful, we require that guests agree to a $10,000 MXN ($500 USD) security deposit in order to complete the reservation.

Best Condo in Cozumel

Another great stay at our favorite place in Cozumel. Prime location for everything - the best snorkeling is right out front where we saw many fish, coral, a turtle and even a spotted eagle ray. Julio is always a great help, and Victoria is easy to communicate with. Sol keeps everything tidy and Paula makes amazing meals. Everything was perfect and this will be our forever annual spot in Cozumel.

Great trip for the family.

Relaxing condo with an incredible view. Julio(concierge), Paula(chef), and Sol were great and we appreciated their services. My four kids, wife, and mother all had an enjoyable stay. The owner answered all questions and responded in a timely manner.

We enjoyed everything about this lovely condo. Roomy, clean, beautiful views, well-equipped kitchen and dining room. And excellent oceanfront snorkeling and swimming. What I wasn't expecting was the quality of the furnishings and the original artwork. It's obvious that much thought went into this home. Thank you, Veronica, and a special thanks to Julio on site, Paula who cooked an amazing lunch on day two of our week, and the cleaning crew.

Great quiet condo with amazing views. Very private

Super convenient, easy parking, amazing views, super comfy beds. We felt like we had the whole building to ourselves. 7th floor pent house with private elevator access with 24 hour concierge. Highly recommend.

Will be the only place we stay now

We have been coming to Cozumel every year for many years - we have stayed at several condos, houses and resorts. This tops them all and will be an annual tradition now. Snorkeling right out front, Scuba diving out of the marina right there was the best, the chef was spectacular, the daily housekeeping was fantasticā€¦everything was literally perfection.

Veronica is an amazing Host! Julio and staff felt like familyā€¦ chef was amazing! Clean- felt brand new! The snorkeling was some of the best underwater views around. Some condoā€™s have full time residents and they are very welcoming. We will be back!

Perfect stay in Cozumel

We have been coming to Cozumel at least once a year since 1998. We have stayed at vacation rentals and hotels alike. This was the best experience by far! The rental property is beautiful, clean and well-kept. The service was wonderful. From the first communication with Veronica, to Julio meeting us upon arrival, to Sonia and Paola. I cannot say enough. We will be back.

Wonderful family vacation

My family and I highly recommend this property. The owner is very responsive to emails. The staff is amazing, very welcoming and attentive to your needs. Julio is very responsive for any of your needs. Paula's cooking is out of this world, I highly recommend getting the chef service while you are there - you won't go hungry! Sol kept the property spotless for us and kept everything stocked up well. And the condo is beautiful and comfortable. The snorkeling was good right in front of the condo, pool was great! Our trip was wonderful!

Great time in Cozumel

We had a fantastic time at this condo. The location was perfect. We enjoyed watching all the water activity from the deck each morning. Paula, the chef available was amazing. Her guacamole was the best on the island and we tried a lot. Sol, the house keeper, also kept things beat and tidy. Communication with the house manager, Julio, was so easy. He answered questions quickly. The pool and deck area were great, as well. I would highly recommend this condo for anyone traveling to Cozumel. The views are stunning.

Everything I hoped for

The property is stunning, clean, and cozy. Get the private chef, she's worth every penny! The condo amendities are great - pool, beach chairs, umbrellas etc. While the condo has many units, there were never more than 2-4 residents around and it felt like your own private space. I came to Cozumel for the snorkeling, and the sea life right off the property was very impressive; eels, pufferfish, rays, even got to swim with some sea turtles! It's shocking more people aren't out snorkeling this area, didnt see another soul. The property is close enough to the airport to make it easily accessable, but not so close as to hear planes or be bothered by them. Easy to hail a cab, a quick $10 ride into town. Long story short; this place is perfect! Can't wait to go back!

Our 30th anniversary getaway!

Veronica was an amazing host for us! From our initial inquiry through our entire stay her communication was superb! Veronica's Cozumel condo certainly did not disappoint. Veronica has a delightful and extremely attentive staff. Both Sol and Paula make a dynamic duo that prepared and served delicious meals. Sol throughly cleaned our entire condo daily and in addition she ran a few loads of laundry for us. Julio was a fantastic concierge as well and had an excellent suggestion for a horse riding! The grounds keeper and the elevator doormen greeted us with a big smile every time we arrived or departed. We cannot think of a more wonderful place to have celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary! We definitely want to return!

Beautiful property close to town.

This villa is stunning. It was perfect for our group of 8 scuba divers. About 1 mile from town which was a nice short walk and far enough away to be safe and quiet. Security was always present so the building felt safe. The ocean views in the front bedrooms was unbelievably beautiful. The sun decks were a great place to enjoy the afternoon sun. The cleaning service was wonderful as well and the place was spotless every day. The literal only part I didnā€™t love is that the bed sizes were: 1 king, 2 full, 1 full, and 2 twin. It made for some very cozy sleeping for people who are used to larger sized beds. My spouse and I are smaller so we ended up in the room with 1 full sized bed and it just ended up being a bit too cozy for our comfort. otherwise everything was lovely and perfect.

Return Stay

We loved our stay at this condo so much last year that we returned again this summer. It was just as wonderful as we remembered. Check in was easy with Julio (the concierge) who met us at the condo and answered any questions we had. Although we knew what to expect, the condo took our breaths away once again...such beautiful ocean views from the floor to ceiling windows and lovely artwork throughout. The condo was spotless thanks to Sol, the housekeeper, who went out of her way to take care of us. She even did our laundry when needed. We arranged to have Paula, the chef, have lunch set out for us upon our arrival and it was so delicious! She is such a wonderful cook. We also asked her to prepare us breakfast each day...pancakes, french toast, omelettes, fruit, tortillas, beans, all with a mexican flair. Truly, both Sol and Paula made the trip extra special as they are the best ever. The condo is in such a great location with snorkeling right in front and for most of the trip we had the pool to ourselves. We also loved taking a quick taxi ride to town for dinner, so many great restaurants. Gracias a todos y hasta la proxima.

Total relaxation and wonderful staff!

Our group of 6 has stayed in Cozumel several times, the first time at this place however. The condo is very comfortable, wonderful views from some bedrooms, the living room and dining area. Balcony areas are spacious-we had most of our meals on the main floor balcony. Speaking of meals, we were thrilled with obtaining the services of the chef! We just told her to make whatever she wished-surprise us each night! This worked well, since she could shop for a number of days at a time. The meals were wonderful, with fresh juices each day and some awesome deserts even! We'd do it again in a minute. Our housekeeper worked along with the chef and she even washed clothes as needed. She left the place spotless each day. The two are an amazing pair! Security is excellent, and this condo has private elevator access as well. Excellent snorkeling can be had right at the condo, with easy access ladder into the water. Good coral and a nice variety of fish. The north side of the island is quieter, and while the building was busy, it was quiet still. We rented bikes and there is a bike rack right outside the building. A taxi ride generally is about $5-6 each way to downtown. We are very pleased with the whole experience!

Exceeded Our Expectations!

We stayed at this BEAUTIFUL penthouse condo for a long weekend in August and would HIGHLY recommend it! It had the best of both worlds: the spacious gathering areas and oceanfront views of a condo with the amenities of a hotel. We appreciated the incredible, attentive and friendly team of host (Veronica), concierge (Julio), doormen, housekeeper (Sol) and chef (Paula)! It was perfect for our 2 families (4 adults and 4 teen boys 15-18). The pictures are accurate: Truly oceanfront and breathtaking!! I loved sitting on the balcony, and our boys loved snorkeling right by the pool. We did not see any other guests during our stay so there is a lot of privacy and we appreciated the quietness. I felt VERY safe at this property. There is a gate to enter the condo and usually an attendant (doorman) present. We had key access for private elevator and loved being on the top floor. Easy to get a taxi out front. Would highly recommend the chef services. Paula was outstanding! She made us an amazing breakfast every morning. The housekeeper Sol also exceeded our expectations and kept the condo spotless during our stay, with clean towels and beds made. We really appreciated this added luxury of having a housekeeper (included) and private chef (at a very reasonable fee) at a VRBO. The owner Veronica and concierge Julio were very responsive to our questions at all hours of the day, both prior to our arrival and while we were there. Veronica is truly a super host!

Fantastic Property!

Our family of 7 (6 adults and 1 child) just returned from a truly enjoyable week long stay at Casa de Playa. The condo was perfect in every way. The views are stunning and the unit is in immaculate condition. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was extremely well stocked, and the A/C worked great. Such a nice bonus to have daily housekeeping included. Patty, the housekeeper, was super sweet and did a great job keeping the unit spotless. We enjoyed trying to communicate with her through her translation app! It was also nice knowing that there was 24 hour security there to monitor the premises. (Cozumel is very safe. We traversed the entire island and never once felt any concern for our safety.) The property is positioned perfectly on the island. On the quiet side just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. We rented cars for part of our stay, but on the days we didn't have them, it was a quick 5 minute cab ride into town and we never waited more than a couple of minutes for one. We made use of the very nice pool area almost every day and we almost always had it to ourselves. The snorkeling right of the property was surprisingly good. Abundant fish, even saw a couple of sand stingrays and starfish. All in all it was a great stay. Being the penthouse unit added a whole other level of enjoyment from the extra room, multiple decks, and the fantastic 180 degree views. Veronica, the owner, was super responsive before and during our stay. You will not be disappointed if you choose Casa de Playa. We hope to return soon.

This is our second time and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. The location, Ocean views, tasteful, decor, and Julio and team are all top-notch. Very sad to leave!

Absolutely Amazing!!!!

I canā€™t begin to describe how amazing this property is. Best vacation EVER! The owner (Veronica) is the best. She made everything so seamless with booking and any other questions I had before the trip. Julio greeted us upon arrival and made us feel very welcome. Even prior to the trip he helped with getting our meals for the chef to make sure I received exactly what I wanted. Paula and the housekeeper ( please forgive me, I canā€™t remember her name) made sure every meal was perfect and prepared for us. We literally were catered to the ENTIRE time. The entire house was spotless and very comfortable. I canā€™t wait to go back. I donā€™t think Iā€™ll ever be able to top this. This is exceeds the 5 star rating. Just AMAZING!
