Come have fun on the beach! Right on Beautiful Lake Huron! Only 9 steps down!

No WIFI and no Kayaks. Right on beautiful Lake Huron! The beach is looking good this year, the water is down compared to last year. Bon fires on land or beach. Big front yard for volleyball. We have chairs, tables, umbrellas and a wooden chair swing. You can bike or walk to nearby Forester Park were they have a beach, ice cream, candy and play ground. You must check out the stars at night!!! Enjoy the closed in porch to watch the boats go by, the sun and moon come up! Also a must see!!! We call it the 'Million dollar view!!! You will love falling asleep to the sound of the waves outside your window!!!!!! You can't ask for anything better!!! If you love the beauty and sounds of nature, this is the place for you!! Our upstairs has no insulation so you can enjoy the sound of rain to fall asleep to. Even the storms are awesome to watch over the lake!!! You may even get a picture of a rain bow! Only 7 miles to the nearest Hospital and Veterinary. One mile south is Forester Inn bar and grill. One mile north is gas ,wood, pizza, subs, drinks and small store. Enjoy it as much as our family has since 1938!!!!! We have two new recliners in TV area and a new dvd player. You can bring your own kayaks or paddle boards to enjoy on very calm days.

Parking in the garage is not allowed.

Smoking outside only and pick up butts. Parking on our property only West of volleyball net and not in road or easement. Trash out Sunday night.

The cottage was a great getaway for me and my girls. We loved the sunroom for doing crafts. Great place for rock hunting too. The host was very attentive and always responded right away. We will be booking again. Thanks for having us!

This place truly lives up to the million dollar listing view. From the moment you walk up to the house you can see Lake Huron. The home has a peaceful and relaxing vibe. We loved every minute of our week that we spent in this home.It is pet friendly, the owners are very responsive to any questions, it was everything we could have asked for.The beach is easily accessible, you can use the steps, or take the path down which starts next to the driveway. Lots of activities within 30-45 minutes-the Petroglyphs, the Octogan Barn, shopping in Lexington, in the summer there are many local festivals.

Awesome, small getaway

My family and I had an awesome stay here! We loved the small property and how quiet and respectful everybody was. The owners were awesome with communication and any questions we had! Would love to stay here again!!!

Thank you Tim. I spoke with VRBO about your request to fix the 3 stars and put five as you wanted in the first place. They said you would have to call them. They won’t let me change it for you. Thank you for the 5 star even though there was a glitch in the system, and it only put a three. If you want to call VRBO and fix it. That would be great.

The house was very comfortable and we loved the sun porch. The beach is definitely rocky so if you're a rock hunter like I am it's the perfect spot. Great quite location. Was fun to watch the sailboat race and freighters.

Glad you enjoyed your time at the cottage. The beach is ever changing. It could be rocky, it could be cover with sand. It could be wide or not. It’s all up to Mother Nature. Lol. Wish we could have it wide and sandy all the time. It is slowly getting wider but the rocks we never know week to week.

Great little getaway!

Cute, clean, very prompt if I had any questions. And really they had everything you could need. Loved the porch! Rain or shine you can still enjoy your visit.

Awesome vacation spot

The lake view is spectacular. We swam, played games, roasted marshmallows and had a blast. Property is just as described and host is very helpful!

Great beach!

The annual girls trip was another success! The beach was terrific, sunroom was nice, sleeping areas were perfect accommodations for all 6 of us. The kitchen was a little small but we made do. Had a great time!

Million dollar view!

The million dollar view from the beautiful screened in porch is the best part of this property. We stayed there most of the time. We enjoyed our stay!

This was a beautiful cottage on a private beachfront with a breathtaking view of lake Huron.

My husband and I had a quick little relaxing getaway at this beautiful Cottage. It was very clean and well-kept the beach front view of Lake Huron was beautiful. We enjoyed evenings out by the fire pit roasting marshmallows and walking the beach. We can't wait to go back !!!

Another GREAT stay!

This was our 4th stay at this quaint cottage right on the shore of Lake Huron. The weather cooperated and our vacation was perfect. Plenty of rocks for hunting and sand to dig our toes in. There were games provided but our favorite activity is to paint the flat rocks we found. I can't recommend this place enough. These hosts are the best. Thanks!

Much needed R&R

The owners were absolutely wonderful in communication during our stay! Their property was just as described and had everything we needed for a beautiful summer week on Lake Huron with beach access steps away. Would definitely return.

Nice weekend getaway

We were looking for a waterfront cottage that wasn't too long of a drive from our home. This place was ideal. Perfect location along Lake Huron and a short drive into Port Sanilac for groceries. Beautiful views and a quaint comfortable cabin. Some of the best sleep in a while with the windows open and the calming sound of waves riding up on shore. Really enjoyed our stay !

Our second stay and it was as great as the first. Nothing like a beach right out the door. The charming cabin was neat and clean. We are already maligning plans for next year!

Last summer getaway

It was our second time staying at this property. We discovered this place last year and it was a perfect getaway. My wife and I love the location and amenities. The cabin is comfortable and stocked with everything we needed. The lake views are spectacular. It’s a bonus that it’s pet friendly and we can bring our kids along ! We definitely plan on coming back.

We enjoyed the whole experience my husband had a golf outing and while he was gone I had a friend over she went for a walk down by the water I stayed in the enclosed porch at night listened to the waves washing on the shore I would recommend this place to a family that would like to get away and ourdog Lola enjoyed th trip to
