Palm Beach 44A is a spacious 1 bedroom 1.5 bath condo located on the 4th floor with a side view of the gulf from the living area. Both living room and bedroom has balcony access. The condo is approximately 863 sq ft with an over-sized en suite bathroom with garden tub and separate shower. The condo has fully equipped kitchen and stacked washer and dryer. There is a half bath accessible from main living area.

Palm Beach is a 5-story building located approximately 3.5 miles east of Hwy 59 in Orange Beach. Palm Beach has 2 outdoor pools (seasonally heated), free WiFi, small fitness area and bbq grilling area. Sleeps 4

STAY AND PLAY

This rental comes with our 'Stay and Play Package', which includes complimentary tickets to the best area activities including; golfing, deep sea fishing, dolphin/nature cruise, amusement park, zoo and movie rentals. Each rental comes with our "Stay and Play package." Some restrictions apply.

*The 'Stay and Play Package' begins on the scheduled date of arrival and is not available on day of departure. Services are non-cumulative and non-transferable. All services are subject to change, subject to availability, and weather permissible. The 'Stay and Play Package' does not apply to monthly rentals.

Quick getaway

Property was small, 1 bedroom, 1.5 bath which was perfect for our 5 night stay. Master bath is large with lots of storage. Kitchen sink could be replaced but other than that, property was pretty nice. Easy walk to pool and beach!

The bed was like sleeping on a rock and the pillows were horrible as well. The actual condo was very nice and the pool and beach access was great.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I stayed with my daughter and grandson for a few days. The condo was perfect for us. Very clean, quick walk to the beach, fast elevator and convenient to our favorite coffee shop. We were able to go straight to our condo when we arrived, which was before check in time.

I am not a very tall person, would have been helpful in the kitchen area to have had a step stool, also broken coffe cup handles and chipped cups, otherwise a nice condo

Quick Trip to the Beach!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was great with light traffic and close distances to restaurants. I did not notice the fees for Property Parking on my contract and was told that they were listed on the Property Website, so be prepared $45 per stay, per car. Rental Management was quick to explain upon arrival though. The Unit needed some updates, furnishings were worn, faucets were old, shower had mold and spreads and towels were dinghy. With the fresh pain and new carpets, it was cozy.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo had a musty smell to it the entire time we were there. The bed was horrific. I called about it and was they could not do anything but I could go buy mattress toppers if I wanted to. So I did which made all the difference. Could not figure out the TV with all the remotes, would have been nice to have some direction on that.

Disappointed

I typically don’t leave a review, actually i never have but I was pretty disappointed with the unit. Primarily the condition of the unit such as the bed was terrible and the shower head was awful. The dryer didn’t work well and had shells and sand in it so I had to clean it out and dry clothes 3 different times. The baseboard appeared to be very weathered and gross and around the kitchen sink it looked like a child tried to seal around the sink with caulk. I would compare it to a cheap Motel 6 which I never would stay at in regard to condition and cleanliness. I certainly would not stay in this unit again.

Very Disappointed

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were so unhappy with the unit that we left a day early. The entire condo smelled of mildew/mold and hit us like a brick upon entering. We lowered the a/c to help with the smell. We discovered black mold inside the kitchen cabinets. The carpet was so old and dirty that we never took off our shoes. the master bed is very old and uncomfortable, including the bedspread. The overall condition of this unit is rusty, dated and not clean. We used a towel to mop up water we tracked into kitchen and the towel was brown from dirt afterwards (this was day one). We were not expecting the Ritz Carlton of course, but we certainly expected better accommodations. The black mold is unacceptable. I emailed the rental agency that we left a day early and listed these issues. I still have not received any response. There were other issues that are minor compared to the carpet, mold and bed that I am not bothering to list. I have used VRBO multiple times over the years and this is my first compliant.

Great Location

The rental was awesome with a great location/access to the Beach. Easy access to restaurants with lite traffic entering and exiting the property due to the location. Had issues with the bathtub jets as they seem to be time and not restarting. Overall, satisfied!

There were two elevators one was down for repairs it was eventually fixed.two days later it was down again leaving no elevator. We stayed on the second floor i have bad knees my husband has a bad back .needless to say it was choir to cary all our luggage down 4 flights of stairs.

Perfect beach location

The property is beautiful and right on a very uncrowded and lovely beach. The workout room is closed (July 2021) due to COVID. The carpet is new and the master bathroom is huge. There is a building under construction right next door and our unit (A44) was immediately adjacent, so it was a bit noisy when workers were present (7a.m. until 6 p.m) Honestly didn’t bother us because we were on the beach! Check-in would have been incredibly easy but our keys weren’t activated which was really the only hiccup.

Long weekend

Perfect for a long weekend get away for me and my husband! It’s on the west end of Orange Beach so the beach wasn’t as crowded as other locations but it’s still only a few minutes drive from shops and restaurants!
