The Gulf of America has never looked better from this sixth-floor condo in the heart of Pelican Beach Resort. There's room for a small group to relax after a day at the beach & the fully-stocked kitchen is the perfect place to fuel up for the day. This condo has a community pool and is right in the middle of plenty of attractions, so whether you're lounging around the house or exploring Destin, this is the vacation home for you. Big Kahuna's Water & Adventure Park is a short walk away, where you can practice riding the waves before you hit the ocean. There is plenty of great local fare around the resort.

BEACH SERVICES: Beach services at the Resorts of Pelican Beach is provided by La Dolce Vita. Hours are 9am to 5pm from March 1st through October 31st. All beach services are managed by La Dolce Vita under agreement with the Pelican Beach Resort Owners' Association. Policies are applicable to all guests and owners of the resort. Beach setups may be rented directly on the beach the day of, based on availability.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.
This rental is located on floor 20.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Great Location

Great place to stay. Amenities were nice, pools were heated, Everything was very clean. The only thing I could say is the beds all need replaced and are very low quality.

Great location! Close to everything. Beautiful view! Responsive staff. Good parking. Only downside the beds were not comfortable. Every thing else was perfect.

Family of 5

Everything about the check in to the 1min walk to the beach was a great as advertised. Only negative about the stay is the walls are super thin. We could here the conversations from the condo next door. Something to consider if you have light sleepers or kids that may need naps.

Close to everything we enjoy!

Just needs to be updated? Looks and feels old? TV’s in both rooms needed an upgrade! The air vents are dirty bad- I’ve stayed at 2 different units and they are all dirty!

Not the best experience

Condo was not very well furnished with linens towels and kitchen supplies. Beds were uncomfortable and sheets were very old and worn. Beach access was very difficult as it was completely taken up by the rental chair company. Would not recommend this property

Beautiful view! The pools were heated and great. The room could use some serious cleaning. Curtains were molded. Shower curtain was molded. It needs a good dusting. We pay for a cleaning fee and they don’t clean for the price. Washer and dryers need to be updated. We had to go use the local laundry mat because it cost 10 dollars just to dry the one load we did wash. All and all it was a comfortable stay

Had to move to a different condo because we were not informed of construction work that closed balconies on entire resort. Bummer!

Property location is great. Parking is a little of walk but not too bad. Onsite cafe and outside food/drink hut is nice, 2 pools are great. Easy walk down to beach. The cabanas take up almost all of the beach so that was disappointing when you want to go down with a towel and take a dip, hardly room at shore line to put a towel. The only disappointment was the mattresses. The main bedroom mattress was not comfortable or supportive, sheets had nubbies on them also. The bunk beds in the hall way nook- which would only be acceptable for small children, the mattresses are poor quality also. There was some wear and tear, rust, mold but that is to be expected in a beach rental. Very clean. I would only recommend this for 2 adults and maybe 4 children at most. The bunk beds and couch would not be comfortable for adults. Had a great time.

Nice condo, but would not stay on this property again

The condo was very nice and clean. (Although they need to replace the balcony table and chairs) The property however would not allow us to put our chairs at the waters edge. We had to put our chairs behind the 5 rows of rental umbrellas. And the properties on either side were private so we couldn’t put our chairs near the water there either. We were FORCED to rent chairs and umbrellas so we could get a glimpse of the ocean while siting on the beach. I have never ran into a problem like this anywhere I’ve ever stayed. My friend and I are two women in our 50s and we just wanted to sit with our toes in the water and could not do that. Very disappointed. We made a point to rent a condo on the beach so we could do that. What a let down and waste of money.

Great location terrible unit

This is located right near everything you need! However we checked in on a Monday night and noticed immediately pool of water in master bath. There was a broken toilet handle and a seal. I called Vacasa and reported was told a plumber would be there at 8am. The next morning we noticed broken handle in the bath off the kitchen. Then the air conditioning wasn’t working! I called again and sent an email. Wednesday I was told someone would be there to fix it all. No one came until Friday when I called AGAIN! I was reimbursed less then the cost of one nights stay when we had to make other arrangements for bathrooms! There was sand and food in the bunk beds, no skillet for cooking in kitchen, the corners had dirt and hair in them. This was a huge let down! The view was good and location everything else was awful!

Great view but dated

We were only in Destin for a few days so this condo suited us just fine. The whole unit is due for a remodel. The cabinets in the kitchen are not square and don’t close properly. The oven door is also off kilter. The tile floor has gouges and the base molding has visible signs of water damage. That said, it had all of the necessities and was clean. Good location on the 6th floor away from the elevators (less traffic).

Fall break

Great place to be with family. Very clean beaches and friendly staffing. We vacation no other beaches. We have been going to pelican beach resort for the past 4 yrs.

The beach was beautiful and very clean and the pool was really nice. The room was horrible !!!!

At check in the lady was very rude. The room was in need of major updating. The pictures on the site are very very out of date. Was contacted by the property about how our room was and sent pictures and also let them know that there was mold on the master bathroom shower. Instead of replacing it they brought a new one and placed it inside our door so I hung it up. Very disappointed in paying what we did for what we got.

Issues with unit

Appointments to room very good. View is excellent !!! Several minor but glaring problems. Complaints room 610 Patio table unusable. Highly corroded. Not level. Living room fan/light. Light inop. Living room tv mostly inop. No batteries for most of the boxes. Stove/ oven is misaligned. Guest bathroom shower diverter handle is wrong type ! Fell off. I made temporary repair. Requires correct part ! Master bathroom sink handle came off. I secured as a temporary fix. Requires proper part. For the huge price I paid for 4 nights I should not have to deal with those issues
