This is a full-service resort. Your check-in procedures will model that of a hotel and your room number will be assigned during check in.

Wilderness Club at Big Cedar offers the ultimate family-friendly retreat leaving the impression of rustic elegance and ideal extended family vacations! There, you can enjoy the unique charms of the resort's wilderness lodge architecture and its beautiful natural scenery.

Approximately 450 square feet, this spaciously warm and homey state of the art studio features 1 King Bed and 1 Sofa bed in the living area including a kitchenette, bathroom and laundry is in the common area. Maximum of 4 occupants.

The person checking in must be 18 years of age (or older). With this notion, please prepare a VALID ID and credit card in your name. A $100 Pre-Authorization from any major credit card upon checking in is required. Cash is not accepted. After purchase you will receive an email confirmation showing your name on the reservation as the guest checking in within 14 days of check in date. Please bring a valid form of Picture ID. However, if you would like to change the name of the person checking in after you have provided this information, there will be a $99.00 name change fee. Any damages will be charge upon check-out.

Resort check- in time is 4 p.m. and check-out time is 10 a.m. The nearest airport to Wilderness Club at Big Cedar is Branson Airport (BKG) which is 9 miles by car respectively.

Hence, if you have any concerns, our office are open 24 hours to respond to your requests. For here at Wilderness Club at Big Cedar we ensure that your stay is comfortable and well-served to your satisfaction.

Wilderness at Big Cedar

We had a great time for the 3 days we were there. The resort was clean, we'll maintained and all the staff was very friendly. Plenty of stuff to keep the kids busy without ever leaving the property. We look forward to coming back soon!

We love BiG cedar!

We love staying at Big Cedar! Big cedar is beautiful and the room is comfortable! I do wish we had a washer / dryer in our room, ice available in the building, and that the check out was slightly later in the morning.

Perfection

This was our first time to the area and to the resort. It did not disappoint. The room provided all the needed amenities. Check in was quick and getting to our room was seamless. The resort grounds were beautiful and we loved spending our days poolside. Highly recommended!!

Good and appreciate the property.

All was good and enjoyed it. Small things were only decaf coffee in the room for the guest, had a smell (not bad enough to move), and didn’t get cookies on one of the days. Other than those very small thing, great!

Absolutely worth it!

The property was an awesome find. Just perfect for a couple including the kitchen. Let us not have to eat out but we could if we wanted to. It can work if you have kids with the sofa but not crazy big for that. The bathtub is pretty small though. My husband and I were so lucky to look out in the morning and see a group of deer below our balcony. The property has great accommodations and amenities. We would greatly recommend this studio and hope to visit again!

Perfect family trip

If you have kids, this is the place to be. So many pools, Fun Mountain is great, walking trails are good to explore, and not far from Branson activities.

Great family setting

The amenities included in this listing are a vacation in itself. So many activities on the Big Cedar grounds that you could never do it all. The address given didn’t lead directly to the check-in building and given the size of the grounds that was a bit confusing. It would have been helpful to have the app for the resort and shuttle downloaded prior to arriving. The shuttle was super convenient to get around the resort efficiently. Prices for activities were a bit high (i.e. $50/hr of bowling) but you could stay entertained with the included activities. Lots of dining options on site, The Buzzard Bar features the singing Cowboy that was fantastic! The Devil’s Pool restaurant has a delicious breakfast buffet. Our unit also included a working kitchen, stove top, microwave, mini-fridge, sink and many utensils/tools to create your own meals. We found the Wilderness Club at Big Cedar the perfect midway point to visit Dogwood Canyon and also Branson destinations.

Fantastic stay

We had a great time and are already planning our next stay! I was nervous booking through VRBO as I never have before, but everything went smooth. The resort property is stunning. All the pools are great. Our room was perfect. Every staff member we encountered was super nice and helpful. Thank you for a great vacation!

Family Vacation

Had a great time at Big Cedar. They had activities for all ages. The property, in my opinion, is set up like a cruise for activities, shuttle services, etc. Beautiful Property as well.

Great last minute get away

Last minute booked for the 4th. A little pricey so going to voice concern on cleanliness. Found a pop can behind one of the tables, hair in the bathroom, m&m’s on floor and the shower/tub drain was broken. The rest of the facility seemed clean. Overall would revisit but just a bit of a let down on first impression.

Best resort!

You never have to leave the resort if you don’t want to! It is a few minutes from Branson but again you never have to leave the resort if you do not want to!

Nice experience

This was our first time at at Big Cedar. It was a good experience. Our villa was very nice. There was a few things that were in need of updating. Just from wear and tear. Overall the place was very nice and we enjoyed the stay.

Great stay!

Fabulous and clean resort and room. Had all the things inside including a dishwasher, range top, fridge. The sofa bed was not super comfortable but that’s what sofa beds are notorious for. Loved the patio. The grounds are beautifully kept and everyone is courteous and helpful. The shuttles are a must for traveling around and are very quick and easy to use with the app and order a ride.

Loved it!

We definitely will be back, the studio we stayed in was perfect for just us two. Highly recommend staying here. Big Cedar is one of the best places I have ever been to.

Great Place - But room was a smoking room

This place is a really really nice place and great location. Everyone we meet was awesome except for this one grumpy guy when checking in. From what I can tell from my wait to check in was if you are a member he was very nice to you, but if not then was a total grump. I also would warn you to make sure you ask for a non smoking room. The room we were given was a smoking room and if you are a non smoke like us it was terrible. Had to by an air freshener and open the doors. We tried to change rooms but were told nothing else was available.

Branson getaway

The walls were thin so we could hear neighbors early every morning. Also a lot of banging upstairs every morning( not sure if there was construction). We were a bit disappointed as we stayed at big cedar lodge awhile back so the bar was set high.

Beautiful Property

Big Cedar Wilderness Club was a great place to stay and a super vacation destination! We booked through VRBO in February for our July vacation. Our dates were July 8-13. It was paid and confirmed right away. We live 6 1/2 hours from Branson so our journey began at 8 a.m. on the 8th. Three hours into our trip we got a message through VRBO that told us they were sorry, but our trip was canceled! About 30 minutes later another message that offered us a place to stay, but our stay would have to be shortened to 3 nights instead of the 5 we had planned! Additionally, we were on our own to find a place to stay the first night because the “new” reservation would not begin until the next day. So……I say all that to say, Big Cedar is fabulous, but I do not recommend using VRBO.

Great Location and Price

We went to Big Cedar for a wedding and this was a great location, in close proximity to all the wedding events. The room was clean and check in/out was easy! The bed was also very comfortable! Would recommend this for a quick weekend trip!
