Peninsula Vallarta is a beautiful resort that is perfectly located on the beach in the heart of the hotel zone and is just a 10 minute drive from downtown Puerto Vallarta and the marina. The resort has a stunning lobby, a business/computer center, and an enormous infinity pool that overlooks the ocean and mountains and includes a large wading area that is perfect for children.

This luxurious and spacious condominium (approximately 3000 square feet) is a corner unit with 3 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, and offers free WiFi access for all guests during their stay. There are two separate master bedrooms, each with king size beds, flat screen tv's, and their own luxurious bathroom. The third bedroom is perfect for children as it has 2 queen beds and its own bathroom. The condo has 2 large balconies with lounge chairs and an outdoor dining table, allowing you to truly enjoy the breathtaking sunsets and views of the ocean, mountains, and downtown Puerto Vallarta. Additionally, these spectacular ocean, mountain, and downtown views can be enjoyed from almost every room. This unit has been professionally decorated and has a beautiful granite kitchen that overlooks the great room/dining room area which has an incredible ocean view. Luxurious finishes abound as this unit comes finished with granite and marble bathrooms, stainless steel appliances, flat-screen TV's, and a washer and dryer. The refridgerator water and ice is run through an independent filtration system.

Across the street is the new Altamar Gourmet Plaza with many excellent restaurants such as La Dolce Pizzeria, Republica Taco, La Vaca Argentina, and Mariscos Tostadas. Peninsula Plaza is just steps away and it has several banks with ATM machines which offers the ability to exchange foreign currency for Mexican Pesos. La Isla Shopping Plaza is located next door and has many restaurants such as Carlos N Charlies, Italianni's, Johnny Rockets, Starbucks, Sbarro, Subway, and Haagen Dazs and stores including Hurley/Nike SB, Guess, Calvin Klein, H&M, Tommy Hilfiger, Sunglass Hut, and an Apple Store. There is also a movie theater in the rare instance that there is a rainy day! Also a short walk is the "Food Park" which features many different types of food served from specialized food trucks...very good food and a fun concept as well! Soriana grocery store is also within walking distance to the condo and there are many other popular stores nearby such as Costco, Walmart, and Home Depot. This unit includes maid service before arrival and upon departure. Additional maid service is available upon request (approximately $60 USD per cleaning). Our property manager will meet you on arrival for check-in and will provide you with two sets of keys to the condo during your stay. Upon departure, the two sets of keys will be collected and the condo will be inspected in order to refund your security/damage deposit. A security access card to the beach gates will be provided upon arrival by visiting the Peninsula Administration office on the mezzanine level and providing a $1000 peso (approximately $100 USD) fully refundable deposit. This deposit will be refunded upon returning the security access card before your departure.

Wonderful Stay in Peninsula

Our suite in Peninsula was everything is was advertised to be. Great location. Wonderful pool and beach. The host and property manager were easy to communicate with. We would absolutely come here again.

Great views and awesome condo but...

The condo had awesome views and a great layout. Only issues we had were the A/C went out in the kitchen/ living room area which made it uncomfortable to sit around and relax. The property manager had some repair men come to look at it a couple times during our stay but were unable to solve the issue during our stay. The other issue was ants. We kept fruit and bread on the counter but had to throw it away. We were hoping to be compensated somehow for the issues we had during our entire 6 day vacation, instead we were given a "sorry" and "hope you come back".

Beautiful property

The owner was wonderful to work with and very accommodating. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Security is top notch. The unit was clean and well stocked. There is some noise from the air conditioning compressor outside of the 2 main bedrooms that makes it difficult to sleep with the sliders open. The view facing the ocean from this unit is perfect.

Wonderful property and unit. Lots of room and nice amenities. Hot water not always hot but otherwise a wonderful stay. The pool area is great and the circular beach chairs were amazing. Would go back again.

Great property!

Clean, well maintained, good staff. Beautiful pool and views. Fun to watch cruise ships come into the marina and sky drivers that land right in front of the building. $5.00 cab ride into town. Grocery store in walking distance.

The best of everything: location, view, beach, and phenomenal security!

This property exceeded our expectations. Beautiful property with a great beach! We loved how easy it was to access our unit from the elevator. The view was to die for! We loved watching skydivers land right in front of us! The staff at Peninsula are friendly and attentive. We love that the massage is in the tower either in the massage room, or in your room! The owner and property manager were easy to contact and very communicative. Would definitely come here again!

Penninsula Condo, Very nice

Very nice condo, great location and you cannot beat the views of the ocean and bay. We were very happy with location, close to marina, malecon and old town. 5 min walk to Sorianos grocery store, we actually chose that over Walmart, better quality. Great restaurants and old town shopping. We will definitely go back and reserve the same place. It felt like home the minute we got situated. We were there over Christmas and the fireworks from the locals was an added bonus. Best restaurant in marina, Bacchas - mex and seafood, On the beach almost to Malecon is El Barracuda, local place for fish /shrimp where you can either sit on the beach or in the main restaurant. We ate there twice definitely go there. Very reasonable and you even get a free after dinner drink to make you leave with a smile. Choose PVR, we were very impressed. We travel alot in mexico and will difinitly go back.

Great place to stay in PV

We've been going to Puerto Vallarta the past few years and have stayed several places. This option was very nice. The Peninsula was similar to the other condo developments we've rented in; security, gated, clean, nice pool. Some things that stood out here: renting the movie room was an added bonus. We always signed up for the last spot and watched netflix in the comfortable room. The pool closes at 10 which is a bummer. In Mexico, 10:00 is like 6:00 to us in the US. We would get back from dinner and the pool was already closed. If we could have at least had access to a hot tub it would've been nice. The condo itself was big and clean. One of the main air conditioning units did not work the entire trip. The property manager brought a repair person to fix it. He was supposed to return the following day and never showed up. At check out we let her know he didn't come and she said she knew. So the condo was warm the entire trip. There was also an issue with ants. The property manager was aware of this as well. She said the tenants before had left trash. Unfortunately they got into all of our newly purchased food and we had to throw everything away. After that we kept anything we bought in the refrigerator and didn't cook in the condo at all. Last thing - I would check electricity meter at check in, again at check out, and what the cost is. We were charged $270 for one week. We set all of the thermostats pretty warm - around 75 degrees, kept lights off, blinds shut, doors closed, and didn't even cook. I wonder if the broken a/c unit contributed. I've never experienced such high electrical charges while staying there. Something to be aware of! But all in all, we enjoyed this condo and would stay again in a heartbeat. We would just check on the ants and electricity/AC first. :)

It doesn't get any better!!!

The condo is spacious, clean, and has everything you could need. The views are absolutely breathtaking! The location is absolutely perfect...right on the beach in the heart of the hotel zone but also only a short taxi ride to downtown PV and the malecon. The condo is also located within walking distance to many great restaurants and shopping. We walked everywhere... whether it be to the grocery store (Soriana), the new shopping plaza (La Isla), or the nearby excellent restaurants (La Dolce Pizzeria, La Vaca Argentine, Republic Taco, and the Food Park). The pool area is also incredible...it rivals some of the nicest resorts that I've been to. There was even service poolside where you could order drinks, lunch or even breakfast! Highly recommend...it just doesn't get any better!!!

Unique, private PV experience

2 couples stayed in this huge, beautiful 8 th floor ocean view condo for 1 week in March 2017. Views off the wraparound decks are amazing. We had more than enough space, and since one couple canceled, 3.5 baths meant every person had a bathroom! All our needs were met, no big probs there. A few annoying little things like burned out light bulbs we could not fix, and a leaky faucet that caused our water to be turned off one AM! Owner and property mgr very promptly addressed these. Overall, a wonderful week and we loved it. These are some of the best condos around here, and i have been to PVR several times. Location is great for access to downtown and water outings from the Marina. We walked the beach all the way to town a couple times, took cabs other times. Easy both ways. We did the VA boat trip to the Marieta islands and saw lots of whales , a sea turtle, stingrays and an orca! The pools at Pen are great--awesome and huge. One of us lap swims and got tired arms from long laps. The amenities on site are minimal-- no bar, etc. but concierge was very polite and helpful. A word of caution-- I made the mistake of leaving my nice new running shoes just outside the gate to the beach while we walked beach barefoot-- came back and they were gone, gone. Lots of desperate people out there. Hope someone in size 10.5 has happy feet there now!

Fantastic Condo

I found this beautiful condo on VRBO. The owner, Joe, was great to work with and everything was handled very smoothly. When we arrived, the condo was nicer than I even expected. It's so spacious and the views are absolutely incredible. The unit was perfect for our group. We had my mother in law, two teen girls, my husband and myself. Everyone had a great amount of personal space. I can't say enough good things about Jose. We dubbed him the Mayor. :) He is truly an asset to this facility. Always very helpful and friendly and smiling. This is our third visit to Puerto Vallarta. This time we returned to La Palapa for dinner. It is always outstanding. We also tried Cafe des Artistes. I highly recommend it! The food was delicious and the staff amazing. We also did a few activities. Las Caletas during the day and back another time for Rhythms of the Night. Such a great show. We went diving on Las Marietas. We were a bit disappointed we couldn't go inside the caves. That is reserved for small groups only. I will keep that in mind for next time. We loved our stay in this rental and hope to return for another visit!

Great views and location!

My husband, 4 kids (21,19,17,13) and 21 year old friend, all really loved this condo. Very spacious for the 7 of us and absolutely beautiful views. We cooked in a lot and enjoyed the wonderful sunsets. Costco is a close taxi ride away, the regular supermarket is walking distance (just a few blocks). Everything is as stated and better once you are there. We did have a problem with the a/c working in the 2nd master bedroom, they did come to fix it right away, but we still had trouble with it. A couple other minor things, so that is why not a 5 star. We were having too good of a time to let it bother us. The owner Joe was great and very easy to work with. The Peninsula it self was great, very accommodating. It was in the summer and off season so it was hot and humid but again so much fun. I got 2 massages there for 350 pesos, which is about $25 for one hour. The beach was clean, pool was clean. We used the movie room, just reserve it prior to make sure you get it. We had some other friends stay in another condo in tower 2, so a total of 14. We watched some movies and the room was great, very private and great recliners. We were able to rent a banana boat out front and lots more was offered, parasailing, jet skis, horseback, and more. We did a city tour which was great! Talk to Naomi downstairs she can set you up with what ever you need. The city tour showed us quite a bit, and also went tequila tasting. The tasting was much better than I expected. Flavored tequila (coffee, almond, orange) all from a family operated business (Rafael was awesome!) and we learned quite a bit. We also saw some great sites. The downtown area, church, arches, homes and more. 8 guys also went fishing and all caught fish. Again talk to Naomi and she will set it up. We did the Outdoor adventure with Vallarta Adventures. It was the best, we have done zip lining in Hawaii and loved it, but this was in the jungle with waterfalls, and wide variations of adventures. Included was a boat ride, donkey ride, big truck ride, several zip lines, repelled into the water, and water slides. It was so much fun! We also went to a beach called Mis Mejolla, not sure of the spelling. We got there early which I would suggest, around 10:00am. There was 12 of us an we all went snorkeling at the Arch, it was great! We also went a few times to the Malecon, which is lots of shops by the beach,ice cream, bars, restaurants, dance places. Great family trip! Thanks Joe!!!

Very nice accommodations in a very good location

This was my first time ever renting a condo from an individual and I was definitely not disappointed. My wife and three boys (ages 22, 21 and 15) all enjoyed our stay in the spacious condo. Dealing with the owner was super easy and he was always accessible through e-mail, phone and text. The condo was well equipped, the grounds were super clean and the staff at the unit were all very friendly and helpful. There were not very many other owners/guests there so it was almost as if we were there alone. I did have family in the area that were able to provide transportation for me so I never had to take a cab into the Malecon area, but on the couple of occasions that we had to fend for ourselves we found it very convenient to walk to a nice grocery store (Soriana) for food, liquor and snacks and take a cab back; and also were able to easily walk a couple of blocks that offered some nice restaurant options. In short we had a great stay and would definitely return.

Wonderful

This is the second time we rented this unit and would rent again from Joe. Only a couple of factors kept me from giving it a five star.and don't want to discourage anyone form renting this condo as it is a wonderful experience. The condo is in a perfect location with a beautiful beach, and close enough to downtown vallarta that we ate there most nights. Cab fares still reasonable. My husband and I walked or ran to the town many mornings via beach and or streets depending on the surf. (close to an hour walk) There are also some new restaurants that opened nearby (across the street) that were excellent. The views from the unit are spectacular with a wrap around balcony that we so enjoyed. The unit is beautifully layed out and very spacious. The unit manager was very responsive to a couple of glitches during our two week stay and very pleasant to deal with. The only thing that keeps me from giving this a five star is that it needs a little refreshing .For example the barstools around the kitchen counter are rather stained and there is no soap holder in the shower (which happens to be a huge rain shower in the master) and we would have to put the soap on the shower floor. could als. use some fresh paint. That being said it is well appointed , lovely and comfortable and we had a fab time .

My wife and myself were in the unit for the month of February and had a wonderful time, as did our guests. The sun rising over the mountains wakes you in the morning at about 8:00 am, and the sun sets while you have dinner or drinks. The views are incredible. The unit is centrally located with taxi fares generally less than 80 pesos (< $8.00) to most areas in town. So many great restaurants, and a great town to explore. A good grocery store is within walking distance. Would rent this unit again if we get back to PV in future.

Amazing Condo, Wonderful Experience

My friends and I recently stayed at this condo while we were in Puerto Vallarta for a wedding. The owners were wonderful to work with, highly responsive and were flexible with our arrival/departure times. They also gave us several suggestions in regards to where to go while in PV. Above all of that, the condo was absolutely beautiful. It was spotless when we arrived. The rooms are all a generous size, each with amazing views. The views from the main room and the wrap around balcony were awesome to wake up to each morning. Overall, our experience at the Peninsula was wonderful. The concierge made sure we always had what we needed. Someone staying in our condo unfortunately got sick, and the concierge offered several times to call a doctor for us. The other staff members were always extremely helpful and welcoming and kept the entire Peninsula premises spotless. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! I would most definitely stay at this condo again if I ever head back to Puerto Vallarta.

Another fabulous stay

This was the second time I rented this condo, I loved it so much the first time I had to go back. The location is perfect lots of beach in the front of the property so there was no problem having our own space on the beach or for that matter by the humongous pool without feeling crowded by others, walking distance to restaurants, grocery stores and the bus stop. The condo is spacious, clean and comfortable feels like home away from home. The owner is easy to contact and answered all questions that I had. The property is very secure and the staff is awesome. Noami, Jose and Phillipe went out of there way to accommodate any needs we may have had, they have become like family.Thank you Joe for sharing your unit so others can enjoy it. I can't wait to go back

Sisters Retreat

My sisters and I had a awesome time at the Penninsula. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.The property was very safe.The condo was beautiful, clean and comfortable, large enough for everyone to have their own space:) Noemi, the concierge went out of her way to make our stay an awesome experience. The beds were very comfy and the view was spectacular.The pool was a great place to lay by or swim. The beach in front of the condo was very safe. Joe the owner was very easy to deal with, always returning my emails promptly and answering any questions I had.The only problem was that a week just wasn't long enough. There are so many things to do in P.V.. I would recommend the luxury sailing excursion it was awesome. Thank you Joe for giving us the privilege to rent your condo,we definitively will be coming back:)

July 2011 Family Getaway!

What a wonderful time we had at this condo!! Beautiful views from every room, peaceful mornings and calm evenings were spent on the spacious balcony every day...the unit slept my family very comfortably, everyone had their own space it was perfect!!! The beds were super comfortable, the bed linens were very nice and tons of bath towels too. The unit was decorated very tastefully and very upscale in every aspect. The pool was amazing, we had a lounge seat each day, not too crowded at all and the plaza within walking distance was ideal!!! We will definitely be returning, maybe even the same time of year too! We had wonderful weather each day and I have to say the owner was so easy to deal with as well!! Loved every minute of our trip! :)))

Large high end condo on the beach with great pool.

Condo is spacious, clean, great views. Easy beach access, very nice pool with zero depth areas for young children. Building security. Easy access to P.V. restaurants and airport. Walk to Starbucks, ice cream, other nearby shops. Owner was easy to deal with. Looking forward to another stay in the future.

My family and I love to travel to Puerto Vallarta to stay at our home away from home. I love Mexico for its weather, culture, and people. I have been to many of the resort towns in Mexico (Cancun, Playa Del Carmen, Tulum, Cabo San Lucas, Acapulco, Ixtapa, Zihantenjo, Sayulita and Puerto Vallarta) and Puerto Vallarta remains my favorite. It offers great weather (especially in the winter months), terrific restaurants and nightlife in a centrally located downtown area, a beautiful backdrop with the Sierra Madre Mountains, and beautiful beaches.

Location, Location, Location!!! The condo is perfectly located in the heart of the hotel zone on a great stretch of beach. Very close to downtown Puerto Vallarta, so it's easy to go to many of the terrific restaurants for dinner or brunch. Right out at the entrance to the property you can grab a cup of coffee from Starbucks at the Peninsula Lifestyles Shopping Village or cross the street to eat dinner at one of the terrific restaurants in Altamar Gourmet Plaza. This plaza offers excellent restaurants such as La Dolce Pizzeria, La Vaca Argentina, Republica Taco, and Mariscos Tostadas. For your convenience, there is also a kids club available in the plaza which offers a game room with free supervision of your children. This gives the kids an opportunity to play and have fun while the adults can take their time enjoying an excellent dinner...parents with young children will absolutely love this feature! La Isla Shopping Plaza is located next door and has many restaurants such as Carlos N Charlies, Italianni's, Johnny Rockets, Starbucks, Sbarro, Subway, and Haagen Dazs and stores including Hurley/Nike SB, Guess, Calvin Klein, H&M, Tommy Hilfiger, Sunglass Hut, and an Apple Store. There is also a movie theater in the rare instance that there is a rainy day! Also a short walk is the "Food Park" which features many different types of food served from specialized food trucks. Soriana grocery store is also within walking distance to the condo and there are many other popular stores nearby such as Costco, Walmart, and Home Depot.
