This cute cottage has recently been redecorated and will delight you with its charm. It features two skylights, a large expandable dining table, full kitchen with dishwasher and microwave. There is a pleasant laundry room with washer and dryer. The two bedrooms have new maple hardwood floors. The bathroom has a large shower stall, corian countertop, and freshly laundered thick towels. The living room has a fireplace, pull-out sofa, comfortable leather reclining chairs, TV w/ DVD/VCR, with a firestick for streaming. You will enjoy panoramic views of Lake Missaukee from the dining room, kitchen, and large deck. Enjoy our sandy beach, raft, and campfire pit. Lake Missaukee is great for fishing and swimming. Our sandy bottom beach is perfect for kids.

A great stay!

Beautiful property! We loved the warm, shallow water in the beach area. The quiet, peaceful neighborhood was great, and we enjoyed daily walks. The cottage interior was brighter and more open than than the photos represent. There is no dock, but we had fun jumping off the raft and hanging out on it. We loved our visit!

Lovely get away

We enjoyed a clean and spacious home. Lots of bedding and towels for our family. Pair access with kayaks and raft were really enjoyed. We would definitely return to this spot

Beautiful views of the Lake Missaukee with comfortable furnishings. Enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the lake. Sunsets were awesome. Only thing missing was the dock to walk out on.

Great cabin!

Had a great time and loved the cabin& location! Owners were super helpful in the booking process and check in was a breeze. Had a weeding next door during arrival and it was beautiful and so nice to watch! Kids had a blast at the sandy beach in front of property.

Perfect Location!

Beautiful lake and beach area. Large deck provided sun and shade; we used morning to night. We enjoyed the kayaks too. The cottage was bright and welcoming. We plan to schedule in the future.

Beautiful Week on the lake

The location was perfect for a week of fishing & relaxing. We loved grilling on the deck. The campfires on the beach had some great views of the sunsets. Thanks for sharing your wonderful cabin.

Comfy Cottage

We felt very comfortable from the moment we walked in to the cottage. The beach and swallow water is great for little one’s, so great that we are recommending it to our sons to bring their families there. The cottage was very well equipped. We loved having a washer and dryer on site. The neighbors were also very nice. We loved Lake City, it’s a small quaint lake town with a great ice cream shop and local restaurants. We knew the grocery stores were not near so we brought a lot of food with us. There is a dollar general store near by if you need things in a pinch! We had a beautiful week weather wise and hope to book again. It was very quiet, relaxing and peaceful during the week , with the weekends having a little more activity on the lake. The sunsets were beautiful!

Perfect "up north" cabin!

We've rented many places over the years and I have to say, this one was one of my favorites! It was literally a home away from home...cable, wifi, fans, stocked kitchen (with much more than I have at home), gas grill, plenty of towels and even a pack-n-play! It fit my family of 5 perfectly (3 little kids) without feeling crowded and the beach/swim area was ideal for kids....all sand and soooo shallow out front. We brought our boat and moored it the entire week, nice lake for tubing/skiing/swimming. Very nice neighbors next door as well. Overall it was a great week. Thanks.

Spacious, Clean Accomodations

Our thanks to the owners for sharing their property this summer. It was our first visit to the Lake City area and we found it charming and friendly. The property was clean and updated, stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The living area was spacious and the deck overlooking the lake was beautiful all day long. The lake is very weedy in spots, but we found some nice areas to fish and swim. The water was clean and clear. There are several eateries and pubs in Lake City along with some interesting shopping. Cadillac is just 15-20 minutes away and there were several nice golf courses in the area as well. A great place to spend some time!

Wonderful Getaway

We rented this cottage the week of June 25, 2011. Although this cottage is small it is very open and gives the feeling of spaciousness. We found this cottage to be very clean, neat and cozy. We rented this cottage knowing that we had too many people staying for the space (children and grandchildren) but found it to be just fine. It was wonderful to have cable TV for all of us when grandchildren needed quiet time or if the weather wasn't so good. The kitchen was well stocked, functional and easy to clean. The washer and dryer was great - made it really easy to keep up with laundry. The deck was huge and functional with a spectacular view of the lake. The front yard was also really nice, the little kids enjoyed playing in it. The beach was clean, spacious and nice and shallow for the little ones. It has a nice dock for our boat, making it really easy to get in and off the lake. We enjoyed the neighbors and the neighborhood, everyone was very friendly. We would recommend this cottage to anyone.
