Perfect location and close to everything including fabulous restaurants and shopping. Only three and a half blocks from the beach and boardwalk. Just perfect

Our time here was just perfect. The accommodations were comfortable and quiet. We spent many hours in and out of the dipping pool enjoying the scenery, sunsets, and dining in most nights at a table with a spectacular view. We like to explore and since the location is central, it is an easy walk to beach, stores, eateries and the Malecon. Rick and Elaine have added their personal touch of design and care - ready to help at a moment's notice. It is an oasis that we will continue to call "home" while staying in PV.

Peaceful Paradise

Rick’s place was absolutely Phenomenal!! with beautifully decorated interior design, landscape and views throughout the multiple floors and balconies. Rick greeted us upon arrival and gave us a quick tour of all the amenities. Apart from the ‘Lovely Suite’ that we had, there’s a 2 bedroom master suite, with a full kitchen and a large living room. Across the patio from our suite is a 1 bedroom suite and downstairs there’s an airy enclosed work out room and laundry room. The 4th floor is the pool and open air patio with full kitchen and BBQ grill. After a day of exploring PV this was perfect floor to hang out on to enjoy the pool, ocean view and beautiful sunsets, Or you can go to the 5th floor terrace and enjoy the sunsets on the 3 or 4 lounge couches.Rick’s place is slightly off the beaten path from downtown in a very nice, safe and quiet neighborhood. Rick and family were the perfect hosts, I can’t say enough, we will definitely come back.

Amazing House and Hosts

We stayed for a week in the small studio on the main floor. There is also a larger suite across the hall. The bed was very comfortable. While the kitchen is small, it is well equipped. We had access to an amazing outdoor kitchen by the pool. We cooked our evening meals there. We absolutely loved the upper balcony. The view of the bay is spectacular. We watched the sunset from the balcony most evenings. Elaine and Rick are amazing hosts. They responded to our requests and gave us suggestions on what to do. They had complimentary wine and beer in the suite. We also enjoyed meeting Elaine's parents. Elaine and Rick also have wonderful condos across the street and Elaine went out of her way to give us a tour.. We really liked the location. It is close to the Malecon, galleries, grocery store and restaurants but the area has a neighbour feel to it. It is up an incline but that was not a problem for us.

Just wanted to mention that we contracted today to enlarge the kitchen by adding more counter space and cabinets. This should make for a better experience for guests and definitely easier to prepare meals.

The Perfect PV Home

Can’t say enough about our stay in the darling little suite in this beautiful home. Only a small easy hill to walk up and we entered our suite on the ground level. We were welcomed by our host and now good friend Ricky who made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Comfy king size bed, well appointed kitchen and a lot of extras that you normally don’t get at a rental. ( all paper products, coffee, soaps, welcome bottles of cold beer , wine) One of the best features is an elevator that will take you 4 floors up to the nice sized pool, tanning area and a fully equipped kitchen, bbq, lovely dining area for entertaining and a bar! We also loved the upper deck for the incredible view of whales, cruise ships, fireworks and stunning sunsets. As there are only 3 rentals in this dwelling, plus Ricky and Laura’s apartment there are few people around. We enjoyed quiet reading spots or visiting with the other guests. Each area is tastefully decorated and well maintained. Luis keeps all plants and flowers healthy and the property is IMMACULATE! Washer dryer downstairs and a fully equipped gym. We could walk to the north end of the Malecon in Old Town in 5 minutes. Beach in 10 minutes. Can’t ask for anything more PERFECT than a stay here in this warm sunny home away from cold snowy home!!

I rooftop view the best part of it all

The house is well built. Can’t speak about the other apartments, but the studio where I stayed could have used a bit of upgrading. The worst for me was the lack of privacy with the very ineffective builds covering the windows. Especially when there are people coming through that lounging area outside the door. I learned about things piece by piece throughout my stay. Not having stayed at a place like this before, I was very unaware of what was available, and how things worked. The staff there was very friendly and helpful. Pretty as this place may be , I cannot stay there there again because of the steep hill to there again. I have a problem with one of my knees and some days that hill leading to the house, was just too painful to handle. Lovely place , but not suited for everyone

Beautiful stay!

We stayed in the studio apartment and it was fabulous! Great access to the tourist areas and wonderful pool deck and viewing deck up above where we had coffee every morning! Great hosts and would definitely stay again!

Perfection!

This property has it all! It is clean and stocked with everything needed for a great holiday. The owner Rick is the best host ever. He responds immediately to any requests for help. The roof top terrace has an amazing view and comfortable seating. I highly recommend renting this property!

Just returned from a week in the studio apartment. It felt like home the minute we arrived. Rick and the staff could not have been more accommodating. Very quiet and spotlessly clean. We had dinner on the rooftop patio it was so relaxing. We walked through town many times and enjoyed every restaurant we went to. It’s a great family place and we recommend it in a minute.

Absolutely the Best!!!

The property was fabulous. It was clean and well maintained and very quiet. The hosts were very accommodating and were always willing to answer questions and provide recommendations. The common areas were delightful and the views to die for. We could not have been any happier and we will definitely be back.

Owner was not accommodating or considerate.

Although the location and rental itself are good, the owner was less than considerate when we stayed. There was jackhammer noise from construction directly adjacent to our unit every morning, and intermittently throughout the day. Morning coffee, sleeping in, an afternoon nap - none of these were attainable due to the direct banging - and it was ADJACENT - not across the way or 2 doors down. We tried speaking to the owner and asking if we could move to her other building, however she ignored the fact of the situation and offered that we could go to the other building during the day to use the pool area and nap. Just unbelievable. Not a good stay at all.

This review does not apply to this unit as they never stayed in it. When these guests arrived, they were offered an upgrade at another location to a larger unit at no additional cost. They accepted this upgrade and my staff carried their luggage to the new location across the street. Unbeknownst to me, a couple of days later, a neighbor TWO doors down was having some repairs done on his pool. After they changed units, I re-rented their original unit. Therefore, they could not return to it. Instead, I offered that they could come over to the other building during the day, while the noise was going on, to relax. The noise never began before 8 am and finished by 6pm. As noted in all the other reviews, my husband and I take extremely good care of our guests. Were there something I could have done, I would have.

Amazing Property

We had a great time at Elaine and Rick's property. Everything necessary was provided to us. They were extremely kind and helpful. Literally everything you want is within walking distance. Highly recommended to anyone considering staying in Puerto Vallarta.

this was our first visit to this area and our stay was ausome. Elaine met us when we arrived and was kind enough to offer us a larger apartment that was vacant which we thought was rather thoughtful and generous of her. Our place was pristine, roomy and had a very warm and comfortable feeling to it. She had wine and beer in the refrigerator for us and had a well stocked kitchen for cooking. The garden patios were a wonderful place to relax after walking about in the area and the rooftop pool with its breath taking views just added to the special feeling of the rental. The area itself is a paradise - you can relax on the beach or be as active as you would like to be. I would highly recommend this rental and hope that our travels take us back to this area in the not so distant future

Was made to feel like I was in my own home!

Just returned from a two week stay ! The property was lovely and the photos on the website didn't do it justice.The property is very well maintained and clean! The owners and their family made our stay very comfortable we felt very at home . We stayed in the smaller of the rooms in future we would try for the larger room . We didn't really mind the climb up the hill the locals can even do it in heels! The location was close to every thing that you could need and taxis are everywhere and cheap!

Fantastic Getaway

We had a fantastic 2 weeks in Puerto Vallarta due to the fact that our accommodations were second to none. This is a beautiful property, with fantastic views of the town and ocean. It was great strolling the old town streets and exploring areas that we had never seen before. We enjoyed the walks on the Malecon and the great beach a short distance away. Rick and Elaine are great hosts and their recommendations for restaurants, markets and activities were extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone who desires a great holiday in P.V.

This was Destiny!

We've been home a little over a week now and I keep thinking about our awesome trip to Puerto Vallarta. I have to say I don't know if it would have been as awesome without the beautiful accommodations of this place. Elaine and Rick were the most generous hosts and offered us as much or as little interaction as we wanted. Their recommendations from restaurants to activities were spot on. We appreciated everything from the fruit, wine, cold beer and water to the high end paper products! The location was perfect an easy walk to some really great food, the Malaccan is just a couple blocks away and the view of the Bay was breath taking. This will definitely be a place we come back to.

Paradise in PV!

Wow what a great week we had in PV and our accommodation was a huge part of our enjoyment. Our hosts Rick and Elaine have a wonderful little place here. From the extra touches of cold wine and beer in the fridge to the great amenities that they offer. This was our first trip and won't be our last. We really enjoyed staying in the old town and wondering the back streets to find great restaurants. Try yoga on the beach, walk the Malecon, stroll on Sunday's with all the Mexican families ! You won't be disappointed. We hope to be able to try out their new property across the street next trip!,

we just returned from 3 weeks in PV, Our accomadations were wonderful and the roof pool was a great way to cool off after hiking around old town. We made a day trip to San Sebastian one of the highlites of old Mexico. The comida corrida was fabulous especially the pollo mole.

Wonderful Property!

We just returned from 2 wonderful weeks in Puerto Vallarta. This was our first stay at this property and the pictures, while accurate, don't show all of the wonderful features of this property, specifically, the two top levels that included an infinity edge dipping pool and full outdoor kitchen and an upper level with comfortable lounging sofas - both of these levels had 180 degree ocean views. Rick & Elaine, the owners of the home were wonderful hosts - warm and welcoming and available if we needed anything, but unobtrusive otherwise. We arrived to a room stocked with "starter" beer (Corona), water and a bottle of red and white wine - all included in the rate. Elaine even brought us a box of almond milk from her personal supply when we asked if we'd be able to buy it in the nearby grocery store. The property was very clean and well kept, the bathroom was fully stocked with various amenities & a hairdryer in case we'd forgotten anything and there was lots of space in the medicine chest,on the sink surface and in the shower caddy for our toiletry items. The owners remodeled and built on to this property and their pride of ownership is evident everywhere you look. It's also obvious they put a lot of thought into furnishing the entire home comfortably. The bed is very comfortable and the a/c worked well. The closet space is generous and there were plenty of hangars to hang our clothes as well as additional shelves for folded items. The house is located about 4 blocks from the ocean, about 2 blocks north of where the Malecon begins and the last two blocks are up a pretty steep hill, but that allowed us to eat flan guilt-free every night :-). There is also another 1 bedroom unit available at this property: it would be fun if two couples booked for the same time and were able to enjoy all of the outdoor entertaining spaces together. When we arrived, Rick mentioned that he'd be available to take us to the airport when we left, so that made it really easy to get back to the airport plus we didn't have to pay a cab. There was also a housekeeper available to clean our room or do laundry if we needed. This was available at no charge except for a tip at the end. We were also able to utilize the washing machine & dryer if we wanted to do our own laundry. Overall, we had a wonderful time at this beautiful property and would absolutely recommend it to anyone considering a trip to Puerto Vallarta.

I first came to live in a Puerto Vallarta in 2003 and bought a townhouse in the Marina area, where I lived for a few years. Shortly thereafter, I realized that I wanted to be in the heart of everything so I sold the townhouse and bought this house. I am so happy with my decision.

Oh my Goodness, the question has to be why not!!!! You can do everything from this location, or you can nothing at all. The suite is beyond comfortable, extremely clean and well maintained. It is private and because I live onsite, everything will be taken care of.

I, as the owner, will be here to check you in and out. If there is something you need, I can help you obtain it. If there is a problem, it will be resolved quickly. Use of the pool and upper levels of the house is included.
