From your private balcony you have a perfect view of the beach and can hear the waves crashing on the shore.
Girasol Sur is located on Playas Gemelas. Two of the most beautiful beaches in Puerto Vallarta are accessible from the pool area. the water is clean and wonderful for swimming and snorkeling. From the balcony you have a great view of the crystal clear water on the beach..

This place and its gracious hosts are as advertised, we loved our stay in this cozy suite!! The view is unmatched and the property is just what you need to for a quieter stay on the outskirts of PV. Great restaurant and bar and the beach is out of this world!!

Beautiful views and ice cold AC. Mason was kind enough to shift our stay by one week when we had a medical emergency that forced us to delay our arrival by one week. Thank you Mason.

Whales, whales, whales!

The property had an amazing view of the ocean. We watched whales cruising back and forth everyday. We couldn’t have asked for a better place. The condo was beautiful, well stocked, and in a perfect location.

Best area and beach in Puerto Vallarta

Value for the stay. You need a cooktop badly!!! Update on useful quick needs for kitchen. Deck overlooks back of kitchen staff and early works to their day! Stay gone and enjoy the amazing beaches. Good enough for the dollar. Nice owners and will reply quickly.

Yep, it’s a good one!

From our initial conversation with Mason and Ann Marie we knew we were in good hands. We stayed in their comfy unit for six weeks and loved our time there. The beaches are beautiful and the view is outstanding. The unit provided just enough in the way of kitchen accouterments. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The bus stops at the condo and gets you into town in 15 minutes for 10 pesos. We loved our visit and look forward to another visit in the future!

South of Vallarta

From first inquiries to checkout the owners communication was clear, prompt and reliable. The property is aged but well kept. The condo is a studio with all but bathroom in one room. The pool is well maintained and both beaches are just outside locked gates. Bus service is roadside out front door. 10 pesos to the Romantic zone of P.V.

awesome place in paradise !

this condo is exactly what was specified ... nothing more than paradise ! the condo lies between the two most most beautiful tranquil beaches - they are actually called twins in spanish ! condo has everything you need to make your stay comfortable .. greta AC and nice size fridge. also , it has a TV if you just want to relax and catch up on some TV. the balcony is the best seat in the house - BEST VIEWS EVER ! the pool is great and they have a restaurant right in front of the beach that has great food and drinks with fantastic prices all day long . there is a small market on site with all you might need during your stay. mason and anne marie and wonderful hosts , they returned all my messages quickly and were so gracious to recommend areas and see how we were doing ... great friendly and hospital individuals !! downtown is just a short cab ride ! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED , THIS PLACE ROCKS !! BOOK NOW FOR A SLICE OF PARADISE !

Comfort in Paradise

The condo that Mason and Mary Anne was exactly as was described and photographed. The checkin process was hassle free, desk men are wonderful. Restaurant and service on property was impeccably clean and expedient. The owners always replied within minutes with questions that came up during g my stay. I loved my PV vacation and would stay there again in a minute.

Nous ne recommandons pas cette propriété

Malpropre, désuète et défraîchie. Des lits doubles au lieu de Queen comme mentionné dans l'annonce du studio. Tout le mobilier était inconfortable. Cuisinière à 2 petits rond, dont un qui ne fonctionne plus dès le lendemain de notre arrivée. Spatule en plastique fondue qui aurait dû aller à la poubelle pour retourner les aliments qui cuisent. Cheveux dans un coin du plancher de la salle de bain. Manque d'ustensiles adéquats pour faire la cuisine etc. Poussière partout sur le plancher du studio et encore plus sous les 2 lits. Comme si ça faisait des mois que quelqu'un ni était entré. Nous n'avions pas d'eau assez chaude pour laver la vaisselle et Mason nous a écrit comme réponse que c'était comme ça au Mexique Pas comme chez-nous au Canada. Pourtant, cela fait 4 fois que nous allons au Mexique. Nous avons dormi 28 nuits sur un matelas qui ressemblait plus à un sommier et l'autre lit était encore plus dur en plus d'y trouver des cheveux . Pour nous, Homeway représentait mieux que ce que nous avons vécu. Nous avons payé trop cher pour ce que nous avons eu. Nous avons été très déçu mon conjoint et moi en plus des maux de dos causés par les lits. Et, je vais m'arrêter là, parce que j'en aurais encore trop à vous dire. Merci Francine Paré et Alain Ruel

Paradise Indeed !

My husband and I had a wonderful stay. The room was exactly as stated, had everything we needed. Mason and Ann Marie replied quickly whenever we had questions or concerns. There are many friendly people on the property to give suggestions of places to go and see. Restaurant on the grounds is very good and the tortilla soup is delicious. Happy hour is every day from 6 to 7. Lovely vacation!

Beautiful Location

Pluses: Lovely quiet beach, ocean views and sounds, convenient restaurant, good communication with owners and affordable. Minuses: Unit needs some updating, no washer/dryer in unit and no staples in the unit (no salt, no extra toilet paper, no shower gel, no paper towels, no dish towel, no bath mat etc) and beds are really American fulls so if you are used to sharing a queen it’s a bit tight.

Lovely stay in Mexico at Girasol condo

I had a beautiful experience at the property. The place was clean and the beach right there! Owners were very responsive and checked on me regularly to see if everything was ok. Restaurant on the property is an added bonus.

Fantastic views

The owners were helpful, accessible, accommodating hosts. The view from the condo is gorgeous; we liked the 1st floor because it’s actually more a 2nd floor. We liked the trees being so close; we also loved hearing the surf against the rocks - so loud and close by...The AC worked well as did the appliances. Fantastic TV. Perfectly adequate towels. All as described. Great price. The mattresses were comfortable, but updating the pillows and general bedding would be greatly appreciated (truly the only downside). Amazing find...we’d love to stay here again. 😁

Highly recommend this property. Location is excellent - beachfront. Has a small store, restaurant and bar. Great service at both. The hosts are attentive and respond quickly with any questions - we would stay here again for sure! 😊

Perfect Anniversary Vacation

Such a beautiful spot to spend our 23rd Anniversary. Mason and Anne Marie were so helpful and were always very quick to respond to our questions and even checked in with us to ensure everything was ok. The condo was exactly as described and they actually have upgraded the fridge to a full size one which was a huge bonus. The condo is very roomy and the view is spectacular. You have a beautiful view of 2 beaches on either side of Girasol Sur. Take the bus to town or South to Mismaloya/Boca for only 10 pesos each. We only used Pesos while we were there, we had exchanged money at home before w left and then went to the HSBC ATM in Old Town PV to take some more out. Trip ideas/Tips: -Do the Vallarta Eats tour! We took a walking untouristed taco tour in PV and had an amazing time, got to experience/taste authentic Mexican food at taco stands/restaurants that have been in families for generations. Do not eat before you go, you will not be disappointed! -Go to Mismaloya and look for Samuel and his Dad- rent a Pango (boat) for the day. They took us out for approx. 6.5 hrs...a beautiful way to see the coastline and access places/beaches that are only boat accessible. We went south to Yelapa, snorkeled in a private little bay, and rode around Los Arcos on the way back. We paid $50 US per person, how can you beat that? -PV has Uber! This was so convenient and never had to wait very long for one. This was a nice option when you wanted air conditioning and was a great way to practice some of our Spanish :-). I'd say we averaged paying approx. 120 pesos from the condo to Old Town (approx. $8 US). Otherwise the bus was also a great way to get around. -Yes, vendors will always approach you, even if you're at a restaurant outside...but just be polite and say No Gracias if you're not interested, they would respect that and move on. We will definately be back and look forward to staying at Mason/Anne Marie's beautiful spot, thanks for sharing it with us!!

The location of this condo was wonderful. Lovely beach, roar of the ocean, quiet community, live music three nights each week at the attached restaurant, a convenient store on property, very nice pool and all the workers were friendly and helpful. We found it easy to get into town via the public “autobus” transportation for 10 pesos (less than 60 cents US) and other residents and guests at the condo were ready to give their advice and share experience. Mason was always quick to respond via text for any questions we had. This was extra nice when we had our flight back to the USA cancelled due to weather in Denver. He was able to work out an extra night stay. Thank you, Mason!
