Amazing & completely renovated oceanfront condo.

This historic two bedroom, two bath condo is conveniently located right in the “corazon” (heart) of Puerto Vallarta.

The building was once one of the first luxury hotels in Puerto Vallarta. Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor Frequently stayed here when it was the hotel..

The condo is right on the The Malecon making it walking distance from restaurants, bars, art galleries, nightlife and many iconic places in Puerto Vallarta.

Two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, laundry room, large oceanfront terrace and wrap around balcony with panoramic views of the bay, city lights and the Malecon

Furnished and decorated with modern features making this lovely condo one of a kind.

This home is beautifully appointed and has everything that you might need, including wireless internet access, cable TV, and stunning views of the bay, the Malecon, and the city.

Sitting on the terrazza you can look for dolphins and whales breaching in the bay; or treat yourself to a Sunday night dinner there watching families parading by in their 'Sunday best' .

Fishing and diving charters are just up the street. Old town, the mercado, the beach; art galleries, the cathedral; many of the best restaurants in town; are all right outside your door. If you do want to venture out a little further, you'll never wait more than two minutes for a cab here. Feeling adventurous? The bus stops nearby as well.

The condo has spectacular views, looks down on the nightly activity on the Malecon and some nights you can hear the local free musical events taking place in the Ampitheater and 'Lighthouse stage'.
It's a combination of Mexican music, crashing of waves, disco music, crowds applause and general night life activity.
A moonlight cocktail at 11 PM is lively, sunrise mornings on the balcony with a cup of coffee watching the pangas come in with their catch is a treasure.
Rock and roll, country western, mariachis, jazz and salsa is the beat you hear and your ear drums may need ear plugs if you're a light sleeper ...not to miss the sounds and great smells from the nearby fabulous restaurants.....you'll want to be out among them.

Location & Host Can't Be Beat

Judi is the best host I've ever worked with. She helped me be prepared for everything and even checked in on us throughout our week stay. The condo is located on the malecon, so expect noise. A lot of it. We thought we understood noise but we didn't. A salsa band played in the building from about 10:30pm to 1am Friday through Sunday. So be prepared to be up and enjoying it! You are close to everything. The view is unbelievable from the balcony. I would stay here with an adult travel group. Thank you Judi for your excellent care of us!

Location Location Location!

This property has everything you need and the surroundings are incredible. The pirate ship fireworks every night are a free added bonus! Judi was amazing to work with and answered instantly with any questions. She has Angel meet you at the property and the check in and check out are a breeze. One note...pay attention to the reviews about the noise. If you are a light sleeper, you will indeed need earplugs or earphones to drown out the noise. Really the only night it was super loud was on Saturday. The other nights the noise was mild and we slept like babies. We visited on July 2-9th 2024.

Great Property and Host

Overall this property was amazing. The views when you walk out onto the patio is breathtaking. You can walk to just about everything which did the nine days we stayed. If you like to be near the party scene then this is your spot. The host is the best we have ever experienced as she checked in with us often to make sure we have everything we need.

Great gem

We loved this apartment. Photos were very accurate, lots of space, right on the water, near everything. Judy was great, super communicative, very reasonable and flexible and just a very nice person. It’s in a lively night area, so you need to be okay with street noise, but my partner and I loved it and had no issues. Would highly recommend.

Superb view and vacation vibe, clean, inviting

Great view, noisy but fun location on the malecon, nicely decorated, clean, secure. What's not to love? We enjoyed the sunsets, the restaurant selection (don't miss The Burro and Blue Shrimp) also breakfasts on the terrace, and the people-watching at this bustling, tourist-active location. There's an inspirational sculpture just out the terrace door, "In Search of Reason" by Sergio Bustamante--it draws tourists like honey and is so fascinating to watch! And do bring ear plugs! The music is great, but late into the evening you will appreciate the option to wear them or not. Thank you to our gracious host, Judy.

Perfect Stay

I think the title sums it up here. First of all Judi was amazing as she was reaching out when we booked her place and again several days before we arrived just to make sure we knew where we were going and how to get there. Every message we sent to her we got an immediate response. Upon arrival we were immediately blown away by the condo and the view. The location is gold as there is everything within short walking distance. We loved it down there and are already checking our calendar to see when we can go back. When we do we will be staying here again as well as already recommending this place to friends and family.

I have been to Puerto Vallarta 20 or so times. This condo is in the heart of the best of PV with stunning views. When you go in July you know it’s going to be hot, humid and rainy so to have the sweeping ocean views from the indoor comfort of a climate controlled area is awesome when the porch is just too hot. Washer and dryer was amazing to have with the heat and so few clothes. Tons of restaurants and bars next door were handy especially on a night with pouring rain. Yes, the malecon is very loud at night especially on the weekend so that might not be for everyone, but I enjoyed the great music from the balcony and was so tired after a long day that I slept soundly each night. Judi was awesome from a distance in messaging and Angel and the people onsite were also wonderful. Easy check-in and check-out. Felt cared for without feeling like I was being babysat which I appreciated. I will stay here again on future trip!

Great Location

The condo is located on the Malecon and has a wonderful view of the ocean and the sounds of waves crashing. It can be noisy on the weekend with music from a nearby club . The location is great as you can walk to restaurants and downtown and taxis are easy to find. The one thing I would recommend is better lighting in the bathroom off the bedroom and another lamp in the dining area. The owner lives on site and is easily accessible and was very responsive to our requests. I hope to stay there again.

Wonderful condo with a breathtaking view!

The condo was perfect and we were very comfortable during our stay. The views from the patio and roof are amazing, we spent every evening watching the sunset and fireworks from there. The location can't be beat, right in the center of all the activity. Judi was an excellent host, very friendly and responsive. I highly recommend this stay!

Excellent location to restaurants, stores, and beach. Great view! We saw whales from balcony two days in the row! Host told us to bring earplugs, but didn't realize it was unbelievably loud. Don't know how we managed to sleep. Loud music usually goes on till 2 am. Lighting inside the condo is very low we bumped into glass coffee numerous times. We informed history. Host will look into ways to improve the lighting and glass coffee table.

Amazing sunsets!

The property is exactly as described. Tastefully decorated, clean and all the room we needed for the 2 of us. It was great having 2 bathrooms! The large wrap around balcony is fabulous for watching the amazing sunsets! Judi was very responsive and welcoming! Yes, as a previous person mentioned she asked that I either water the outdoor plants or let her come in to do it. I really did not mind watering them, IT WAS NO BIG DEAL! The location on the Malecon is both the condo's best feature and it's worst. On the Malecon, you are right in the middle of everything. What ever you would want is right outside your door. But, yes the noise level at times can be quite loud. If you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs or join the party until it ends :)

Great clean, fun

Everything a out this place is great. Only thing to keep in mind is the music is SUPER loud until pretty late on the weekends wasn't as bad in Monday and not sure about the rest of the week as we were only there 3 nights. Other than that it was wonderful. Angel, the property manager also works downstairs and was awesome.

Great Location

Overall a very positive experience. The location of the property is amazing and right in the middle of everything. The check in process was a little confusing upon arrival but was cleared up in less than five minutes with a text to the owner. I was impressed with how clean the place was. It is also well stocked with anything you would likely need for your stay. The building as well as the apartment itself felt very secure and there were not safety concerns. There is a lot of noise in the evenings, but that was to be expected and was not so bad we could not sleep. The bed was a bit small for a couple but again that was to be expected as it was pictured in the listing. I found it odd that the owner texted and wanted me to either water her outdoor plants or let someone in to do so about half way through the trip. It was not a huge deal but just seemed like a weird request for a five night stay with considerable rainfall the entire time. I watered her plants as requested and moved on, but it did make me feel a bit uneasy if I am being honest. Overall this is a great property if you are looking to enjoy the Malecón area. We explored the area on foot and had no need for a cab or Uber. There is great food all around and plenty of things to do. The views from the balcony are spectacular and very memorable. I highly recommend this place and had a great experience overall.

Amazing location and views!

Loveddd this condo! Decorated so artfully, very spacious, primetime people watching spot with breathtaking sunsets seen from the balcony/giant rooftop, and just steps away from the malecon’s shops, restaurants, and nightlife. What more could you ask for?? Truly perfect if you are wanting to stay in centro. I loved having 2 bathrooms, and both showers had the best water pressure I’ve experienced in PV! There is a locking outside door and a gate before you can enter the building- it took me a second to figure out how all the locks worked and which key belonged to which door, but it wasn’t a problem and made everything feel super secure! It does get loud on the malecon at night with music. You can definitely hear it inside the condo, but that comes with the territory and this was no issue for us. Judi was a great host and always available to answer questions with a very quick response time! All in all, a 10/10 spot, I would book again!! Thank you! :)

Amazing place to stay and the best location on the Malecon. Loved everything including the roof top deck. Everything you need is within walking distance. Judi is a fantastic host and quick to reply with questions or recommendations. Will definitely stay here again!

Absolutely perfect place to stay in PV. Sunsets are devine!

Very nice stay....!! It is where the action and beautiful beaches are! The host is amazing. We had a bit of a weather event on the last couple of days and she was very attentive to our concerns. I would definitely make this property my "go to spot" when I travel to this part of Mexico. Thanks Judi!🙏🏽✌🏾😎

Great Apartment and Owner!

We enjoyed our stay at this unit. The owner could not have been nicer or accommodating. The apartment is spacious, in the middle of the action and a great deck! Only downside is on Fri and Sat night the bands play under the apartment and it is quite loud. You definitely need to bring ear plugs to sleep. Lighting in the bathroom is quite low which can be hard to put makeup on with. But other than those small issues everything else was great!! Would recommend!

It is in a small 11 unit building that was converted to condos from one of the first hotels in PV and has recently been renovated to first class and updated with beautiful new furnishings.
The people that live in the complex are like family, friendly lovely folks who look out for each other !

I live in Boulder, Colorado and have been traveling to Puerto Vallarta for many years to enjoy the warmth of the sun, the ocean and the wonderful local friendly people

Oceana Plata condominiums have once been the famous hotel near the original light house on the malecón. This was a building in the early 1960’s where Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor hung out with famous and non-famous friends in the restaurant and bar.

In-town living in Ocean Plata gives an occupant the ability to view the malecon‘s art galleries, in particular Bustamante’s “In Search of Reason” The bronze pillow -headed mother and her two children symbolize the classic story of children venturing out from the security of their mother’s care, while she is imploring them to “use reason.”

Living in the heart of the city, you experience its pulse. You are a customer of the knife sharpener man, the bread man. You walk to buy tamales for home, also stopping to purchase home-made camote for an evening dessert or tomorrow’s breakfast with cold milk. You experience the art scene, including ever-changing sand sculptures. Fireworks are frequent celebrations of light and color in front of Guadalupe Church and the town plaza.
