Tidewater Beach Resort is a great family resort with lots for kids and adults to do on property and nearby. Great Amenities! 3 pools 1 is indoor. There is a Movie Theater on site, Tiki Bar by east pool, Bar and Restaurant on first floor best work out area anywhere on the beach, Free WI-FI in unit, grilling areas on site. Located a short walk, 1/3 of a mile west, of Pier Park Mall and entertainment center.

Master Suite King bed, flat screen cable HDTV and a private ensuite bathroom Tub and Shower combination. This bedroom has a view of the ocean and the sand dunes from a large window.

We enjoyed our stay. Elevator wait times were not bad at all for us. Room could’ve been cleaner. Furniture is dirty and everything is a little run down. I received a call before check in on Saturday that someone would be there to clean the couches on Tuesday but no one ever showed up. Overall we had no major issues and had a great time.

The space was nice but really needs a deep clean. The icemaker dumps ice all over the freezer and the bottom drawer is broken. The cabinets are peeling. The overall condition is good but could use some TLC. Caulking is missing and there is no shade for the top bunk so the outside light shines inside while sleeping.

The condo was very convenient. Very easy check in. It was spacious. I had to place sheets over the furniture in the living room. It’s very old and just nasty. Very much needs updated couches and chairs. Other than that, our stay was good!

How do I even rate this

When we got there we checked in at the desk, I asked the lady if we could go to the room she said “I don’t know,” so I had to call the number on the text message and ask I was then told “If housekeeping has finished you can check in at 3:30.” We get up to the room housekeeping was coming out along with their two younger children who were eating chips. We walk in and there were Doritos on the kitchen floor. The couches were stained, two bar chairs were broken, the air wasn’t working which my husband called twice about, no one ever came to fix that. We found some fans two small white ones and a tall black fan which did NOT work. Our teens went to go to bed on the bunks and the top bunk was wet and had a yellow stain. The mattresses to the pullout couches were also stained. The refrigerator was not getting very cold until our last day there. The keurig stopped working so we had to buy a new one at Walmart for 58.00 which we left behind to help out the next group of renters. I text to let them know it had quit working and their response was “Well there is a 10 cup coffee pot you can use instead, sorry.” When I told the property management that our room was still dirty by the Doritos that were in our kitchen floor she said it was because we had checked in early and final inspection wasn’t able to be completed. Seems to us there should have been better communication with them and the check in desk. In all stay at your own risk!!

The furniture in the pics doesn’t exist. The couch was so nasty that they had to send someone to shampoo it during our stay. The floors were so dirty that they left my grand daughter’s feet black. Waiting on elevators was insane, 30-40 minute wait times. Security didn’t make people remove towels to “save” chairs at the pool, but definitely made sure to speak to us because we had an umbrella set up BEHIND their lounge chairs. People were running through breezeways and jumping in the elevator. This was far from a nice family oriented vacation spot.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The only good thing about our stay here was the view from the balcony. The room was not very clean, the air would not cool, so we had to call maintenance on Monday and they had to come fix it, after dealing with it for 2 days. The refrigerator has no shelves on the door bc they are all broken. The beds are so uncomfortable, springs will hurt your ribs. The knob on the stove was broken to the big eye and unable to use until maintenance came on Monday also. The showers have no pressure and the washer has a soured smell. The elevators are absolutely ridiculous. We waited at least 30 minutes each time to get on an elevator to get to the beach and go back up and to go out to eat at night. Another lady owns the beach chair rentals on the beach and is separate from Tidewater. They have sued Tidewater and won, therefore anyone not renting their chairs has to sit in the water (wet sand) where your children can’t even play with sand toys because they wash away or you have to sit on all the way past the entire condo (they out up red markers) and drag all of your things past there to sit. There are only water hose wash offs on the ramp and you cannot fit with your beach cart with another person walking on the ramp. They need to fix their ramps where 2 people can fit going up and down together. I do not recommend staying here. We have been coming to PCB for 30 years and this is by far the worst.

Stuck on Vacation: A Resort Stay That Took Waiting to New Height

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We will never stay at Tidewater Resort again. The worst part of the stay was the elevators. From check-in to check-out the elevators were an issue. There is only 1 working elevator in the parking garage for everyone staying at the resort to use to move their luggage. In addition we waiting up to 45 minutes to get an elevator to get our beach stuff down to the beach. Every time we had a long wait for an elevator, even taking our beach stuff out at 6 am. The condo has issues as well. The stove was missing a knob for the front large burner, no dust pan to sweep up sand, vacuum didn’t work well, toilet in 1st bathroom was loose and wobbled, fans in 1st bedroom and living room made knocking noise if turned up. The description said recently painted but what was not mentioned was there was no updates or upkeep done just a coat of paint.We made the best of it, we enjoyed the beach and the view from the condo but wasted too much time on elevators. Everyone in the building was complaining about it.

The unit at the condo was dirty

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit was run down it had old furniture, including uncomfortable beds, the dishes were all dirty, the kitchen wasn’t well stocked for cooking, the refrigerator was broken on the inside which made storing food and drinks difficult and there was not enough towels for 10 people. I have been coming to the beach for over 30 years and have also stayed in the Tidewater before so this unit was very disappointing.

Nice vacation home

Property was large enough for our family with room to spare, beautiful views. The pantry was dirty as were inside of most of the cabinetry throughout. Very few cooking utensils available. Add lots of cooking utensils and give the pantry and drawers a good scrub and it would be perfect!

Overall a good stay - but don’t recommend this unit.

This property served it purpose but don’t expect anything else. The furniture is stained and gross. The floors will leave the bottom of your feet black all week. Very limited kitchen utensils so don’t expect to fix meals in. The skillet needs thrown away. The third master is dark & feels like a dungeon. The bathroom in the third is super small and the shower water shoots through the shower door, so when you step out of the shower the floor has a puddle of water which has also caused black mold in that bathroom.

Cleanliness

This is a very nice condo but the owners need to fire the cleaning crew. Molded shower curtains, front of oven door filthy, cabinets and baseboards in bathrooms brown with dust. The main living area was clean. Broken dryer plug in one bathroom. Otherwise, I’d stay there again. Great outdoor furniture.

Family Get Together

We love staying at Tide Water. Have stayed there a few times for our yearly family get together. The Condo was great. Only problem I saw was there need to be a little year end Maintenance need to be done. Some of the lights were Flickering. And the floors were nasty. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. Weather was terrible

Every thing was fine , there was a water leak in the front bedroom! Seemed to be coming from the washer! Weather was so bad that week! The apartment was very roomy and comfortable!

Beautiful place to stay!

This condo was a lot bigger than I expected and the balcony was HUGE! We had the perfect view of the Ferris wheel and the pier on our balcony! I love that there are two huge pools. I will definitely be booking again.

Wouldn’t recommend staying at this condominium

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I wouldn’t recommend staying at Tidewater due to the extremely long waits for the elevators, it is awful. Also if you bring chairs and umbrellas they have to be placed in wet sand or a lady will take your picture and have a Tidewater employee come tell you to move them. The unit we stayed in was nice also the complex is nice just wouldn’t recommend due to the elevators wait time and being told where to put your umbrella.

July 6 thru 13, 2024

Property was Ok at best, floors were not clean, reported many items broken or not working the first day and they came to somewhat repair them on our last day there, furniture outdated with many stains, beds were good. Still had a good time but will not stay in this room again. Not the room’s fault but will not stay at Tidewater anymore, second time staying here but the elevators are a complete nightmare. 30 minute wait between elevators if your lucky. Actually my family was stuck in elevator 7 for 30 minutes before management got them out!
