Very relaxing & quiet spot.

A great spot to explore what the area has to offer including easy trips to cenotes, ruins, snorkeling & more. The beach area always had lounge chairs available & while beach entry was a little rocky, at this end of the bay there was no sargassum.

A beautiful and peaceful slice of heave

Tranquility only starts to describe the feel of this place. Everything was exactly as depicted in the pictures if not better. Akumal is very quiet and easy to get to. The local people are a great mix of local folks and ex-pats. We will 100% be back to this listing.

Another great vacation at La Sirena! The apartment was fantastic. La Sirena is the only place we’ll ever stay in Akumal - great location, beautiful grounds and very nice apartments!

Lovely, comfortable, well equipped property with stunning views of half moon bay. The gardens and swimming pool are perfect for relaxing and there were always sunbeds available on the complex beach. Diana, the owner was friendly and helpful and the site manager was always available for help with any problems.

Thanks for trusting your vacation with us. And yes our views are incredible. I wish though I understood the rating of a 4*, as we would like to know how to improve. You may want to check one of my other condos, such as VRBO 1198763, and 44902, both of which are incredibly outfitted.

Excellent and beautiful location in Akumal

This property was everything we’d hoped for. The private uncrowded beach and gorgeous views were amazing. The unit was comfortable and clean. Perfect for a couple or family of four.

Christmas in paradise

We had a great time with our two adult kids. We stayed in #8 and it was perfect for family time, snorkeling and playing cards in the evening.

A wonderful two weeks in paradise - breath taking views of the ocean, snorkeling in our front yard, beautiful grounds and pool and friendly helpful staff.

La Sirena is a fabulous property situated in the perfect spot for those who love to swim and snorkel. The view to the ocean from our condo was magnificent and we enjoyed the soft breezes and sound of waves day and night! Our condo was roomy and comfortable and the staff on site were friendly and kept things pristine at all times. Francisca was of great help providing information, directions and suggestions regarding day trips and the local area. The pool and grounds are absolutely beautiful - the photos on the website don't lie! We enjoyed finishing each day with a swim before heading out to dinner at one of the local eateries. Thanks for a great vacation and we look forward to returning soon!

Beautiful place

Do not stay anywhere else in Mexico. Akumal is an oasis in what has become a tourist ridden part of the yucatan. There are great restaurants and half moon bay is wonderful. I cant wait to return

A beautiful, comfortable, peaceful stay!

Beautiful, quiet beach and grounds that are impeccably maintained by friendly staff. It was the only beach in the area that was free of sargassum. The condo itself ( #8) was comfortable and clean, and we felt so spoiled by Rosa, who kept it clean each day while we played and relaxed! Perfect location to visit the best cenotes, ruins, and adventure/nature parks without much drive time. If you are going to stay in Akumal, this is the place!

Perfect place to stay in Akumal

Tranquility was the perfect condo for our family of three. There was plenty of room to spread out, the kitchen served us well for a well with everything we needed to prepare simple meals. Exactly as described.

Beautiful inside and out

The condo was perfect for our family of 5. The grounds are beautiful, service was above par, and location was perfect. Snorkeling steps away, fantastic food within a short walk or bike ride, and swimming in the pool made for a memorable vacation. The condo had everything and more we needed and was very comfortable.

A peaceful Paradise

My husband and I and our two kids age 2.5 & 5.5 had such a great experience here. It was beautiful, well taken care of, the staff, owner and other renters were so kind and welcoming to us. The weather was awesome the whole time we were there. The snorkeling was incredible and the surrounding areas were full of welcoming, kind locals and a really great vibe in general. We'll be back!

Last minute booking!

We booked the day before we were to arrive! Diane was great! She made the whole process so simple. The condo was just as it looked in the pictures and was very clean with wonderful staff. Beautiful snorkeling right out the door! This was a great experience for our family!

Lovely condo with stunning view of the Half Moon Bay. Snorkelers will enjoy the opportunity to snorkel in Half Moon Bay in the front yard or walk 5 minutes to Yalku Lagoon if the waves in the bay are high. This is an ideal place to rent a bike to ride into town and enjoy a variety of restaurants or to snorkel with turtles. We also like to drive to Tulum beach (35 minutes) or the turtle preserve (10 minutes).

Clean, safe, quiet and relaxing

La Sirena is in the perfect location. It is a quiet atmosphere-perfect for decompressing! The staff is helpful and polite. The gardens are kept pristine by Juan-who was so kind and gracious. 3 close restaurants that were excellent. We rented bikes for the week at the condominium and rode to Akumal daily. As soon as I get home I am going to start planning my next trip back and I will only be staying at La Sirena!

Exactly as described and more

The location, condo and privacy are excellent. Diana was super helpful and sends tons of detail to review before you get there. She was available for a call prior as well and answered all of our questions. The staff there are all fantastic. Franchesca is amazing and her 2 staff were super friendly and willing to help you. Very safe snorkling with lots of marine life to see.. love it.. Very safe, Very quite, Very private and super beautiful.. highly recommend..

What a fantastic place to stay! Loved every minute!

Quiet, clean, cozy... Very well stocked condo with help available if you need it. This unit is pretty much at the end of a road that gets quieter as it goes. There was never a time when we couldn't get beach chairs and between the beach and the pool, we had the perfect combo of sun and shade. We saw quite a few people who stayed in hotels just off the beach, who had no beach access. Since beaches are private for seating, those people really had nowhere to go. Staying beachside is definitely worth the extra price.

Trudy, Thanks so much for staying with us. We all do love our little place at the end of the road. Even though the entire area, is becoming more popular, we still have the nice and quiet. And plenty of space as we have double the beach front as any other complex in the area! So we are never crowded. It's a nice feeling.
