It's all here in Sand Dollar unit A1; SWIMMING BEACH--SWEEPING OCEAN VIEW--DOCK--DIVE SHOP--SPACIOUS CONDO--POOL--NEARBY AMENITIES. Join our long list of returning guests - some returning every year for more than a decade! Find out why so many Sanddollar Condominium owners and guests agree the setting is irreplaceable.

Enjoy a panoramic beachfront sunset view, steps from the Dive Friends operated dock, and a gentle sandy swimming beach - two easy access points for snorkeling or diving the wonderful Bari Reef! Also on site are the extensive waterfront walkways of the Sanddollar Resort, the longest of any resort on Bonaire.

A kitchen and bathroom renovation was completed in September 2024. In 2023, new interior flooring was installed throughout the condo, and the condo and porch were painted. A 50" smart TV is now wall-mounted in the living room, linked to the free wifi.

Included in your reservation is a free return shuttle service from the airport, approximately 5 miles away. A 35-minute walk from the condo will bring you to the center of Kralendijk. Rates include additional mid-stay cleaning for stays longer than 7 nights.

Dive Friends Bonaire, a PADI 5 Star IDC center, is the Dive Operator of the next-door dive facility, which includes 24/7 gear storage and tank access.

This unit enjoys a unique outside-end location, providing a more panoramic view than other one bdrms in the facility.

With 950 square feet, you will have all the amenities of home and a location second to none; steps from the beautiful turquoise blue Caribbean waters and Bari Reef, ranked number one in the Caribbean for variety of fish species.

Great Place to Stay for Divers!

We had a wonderful stay at A1! The closeness to Dive Friend, and the private dock was the major reason for us to stay here. We really enjoyed staying here, where everything was very clean and comfortable. We would love to stay here again!

The location right next to the dive operation and private pier was perfect. Kitchen was very well equipped. Multiple restaurants within just a short walk. The unit has a lovely screened room where you can sit and enjoy the sunsets.I'd definitely return and recommend to others.

Excellent location near gate/entry to Dive Friends @ Sand Dollar and Pier. Great set-up on screened porch to hang and dry dive equipment. Will definitely book another visit.

Perfect for the two of us.

Great place for couples. Amazing sunsets and the dive shop is next door. Access to restaurants and groceries close by as well.

Great Stay

Great relaxing time. The Sand Dollar was quiet, friendly, and next door (literally) to Dive Friends. Both owner and property manager were helpful, friendly, and responsive. Can’t wait to come back to Bonaire and the Sand Dollar!

A1 is located beautifully next to the dive dock, gear room, Dive Friends dive shop and Breezes and Bites restaurant in Den Laman. This is our favorite property to stay at, for the convenience, cleanliness, and ease of diving. Owner and manager very nice and communicative.

quiet, great location

Nice place. Very low key and comfortable. The location is phenomenal. You can literally walk out your door and swim in a pristine, clear, calm ocean with a sandy bottom. The property manager Pierre was super helpful.

Condo is located very close to water. Easy entry at small sandy beach. There is a nice reef along the property. Great views from screened in porch.

Best location for ease of access to diving, restaurants, etc.

We've stayed in A1 many times. Love the location, view, ease of access to dive gear, dock, etc. Check in was easy. They've done some updates this past year, and the kitchen is well laid out and functional. Bathroom has new sink and cabinetry combo, and shower now has partial glass wall, so no more shower curtain! The property manager communicates promptly and takes care of anything that needs addressed in a very timely manner, and is helpful and personable. WiFi worked great. We rented a truck for the 2 weeks, and can park close to the building.Our granddaughter completed her junior dive certification with Dive Friends, and had a positive experience.

I would stay there again.

The owner and property manager were great to deal with. Very good communication. The property is a great location for snorkeling. I saw an octopus my first day just steps from the front door. The place is close to everything you would need. Bar/restaurants/dive shop all right next door.

Great condo right on the ocean

Very nice unit with large screened in porch and a view of the ocean. Comfortably furnished, and a well-equipped kitchen. Free off street parking. Best of all, there was very nice snorkeling both left and right, right out your door. Greg and the property manager made sure we had an easy check in & out process. Would definitely book this place again.

Great location! But needs a bit of TLC

The location was perfect right next to the dive center and the diving pier. The condo needs renovation and more space for storage. We kept our clothes in our luggage as there was no storage for them. Everything worked properly (air conditioning, fridge and other appliances). The manager answered our text messages very quickly. We would go back anytime

Steps from Bari Reef and great local restaurants.

Quiet, cozy, ground floor. Large screened porch with ocean view. Glass doors that can be opened up from living room and bedroom to porch. Just steps away from dive shop, gear room, air fills. Dive Bari Reef right off the dock! Sand Dollar Resort has the longest stretch of ocean frontage on the island. Breezes & Bites is right next door. Their talented chef offers wonderful food and one of the best rib eye steaks I’ve had annywhere. Walking distance to a number of shops, including drug store, icecream shop, gifts, and several other great restaurants. This condo has been our favorite spot to stay the last several times we’ve been to the island.

A little rundown

We only stayed one night because when we came back from dinner there were two giant cockroaches. Not a great value for the $. No swimming pool, no closet to hang clothes and only a tiny wicker four drawer dresser that would not have held all of our clothes. The location was great, but we just didn’t want to deal with cockroaches

Perfect location for me

The location was perfect for me. Close to the dive shop and very close to the little beach. The property has a screen porch as wide as the condo. We really enjoyed having meals out there and just relaxing. The interior is a little dated (80's?) but it was very clean. I also noticed that the couch has a hide-a-bed that can be pulled out. The only complaint (from my GF) is that the compressor from the dive shop is also very close to the condo. It runs from 9am-5pm. In the mornings, when I was doing boat dives, the compressor noise caused my GF to have to move to the other end of the property. Not a huge deal but worth mentioning.

Great View

We enjoyed the space this condo provides. The furnishings in the bedroom are nice but the mattress is due for replacement. The wall hangings could use improvements like some fish photos, for example. We loved hanging out on the screened porch and watching the sunsets, swimming, diving and snorkeling in front of the Sand Dollar condo grounds. We had an issue with the WiFi when we first arrived and had to reset the router 2 times but after the last reset it worked fine. We have stayed on the second floor of the A building previous to this visit and the compressor from the dive shop was rather loud. My partner and I were quite surprised that it was quieter in A1 than on the second floor. In fact, the week we stayed at Sand Dollar was wonderfully quiet. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Great for serious divers

The location is amazing. Wake up to a beautiful ocean view from bed. Best sunsets right from the unit or just a short walk out to the seating area at the seawall. So convenient to Dive Friends next door for shore dive launching point or boat dives from the dock right there. We spent 2 weeks here and felt very comfortable. The unit itself, yes it is dated. Mostly looks original. Everything worked great though. We had every utensil and item we needed. The bedroom and living room have nice decor. It had had some painting etc done to keep it cozy and tropical feeling. The price is quite nice too! Compared to similar properties/locations- can't really beat it. Pierre was excellent and made check-in/out very easy. Thank you!
