The Estate Belvedere was perfect! Jeri, the host, and Summer, the caretaker, were both so helpful with information and airport assistance. The houses and grounds were stunningly beautiful, clean, and well kept. The ocean views and saltwater pool made very minute there a joy. The place is completely private and quiet, and well appointed with everything you could want.

Estate Belvedere is an amazing unique villa. Its multiple buildings provided enough space and privacy for our multi-family group while offering wonderful space for us to gather together. We spent a lot of time together in the pool, on the large upper patio and around the outside table. The pool is large and fun for all ages with varying depths. The location was central to great restaurants, beaches and activities. Somer, the caretaker, was available for questions and information to make our experience even better.

Somer was fabulous! Estate was clean and beautiful and exactly what we wanted (but there are a lot of stairs). Only negative was all the potholes in the road to get there. Really appreciated the Good Samaritans who marked the holes with fluorescent paint! Highly recommend this experience

Our stay at Estate Belvedere was the perfect family getaway. There was plenty of room for all 10 of us ranging in ages of 3 to 65 years old. The kitchen was fully stocked with any utensils needed. The view from the deck was gorgeous viewing St. Thomas, St. Johns etc.The pool was huge and very clean. The grounds were beautifully maintained with many local plants. The location was convenient to Cane Bay and the North shore area. Our host Somar was a gem helping with any questions we had during our stay and was always available. It was definitely a five star stay!

Everything about Estate Belvedere is amazing. Beautifully maintained property with everything you could ever need and so much more. From the grounds, to the kitchen, and the views in the morning. Amenities to enjoy the estate, head out to the beach or for a day touring. Our group of 11 had space to all be together and room to spread out. Everywhere you turn is another winding path, sweeping vista, or beautiful landscape. The pool is an oasis. If you want to feeling of a resort, but the privacy of a home, this is the place.

Stunning views, beautiful location!

Absolutely blew us away, what a beautiful place, as my granddaughter said, it was a fairy palace! So many amenities, lovingly appointed and perfect for our multi-generational family. From the stone tower overlooking the sunlit sea to the huge and inviting pool to the main house and multiple living units, it was extraordinary at every turn. Our caretaker was a lovely human, very friendly and attentive.

Another great trip

Our group went back recently for our second trip to Estate Belvedere and it was just as great as our last trip. All the things that I commented on in my last review held true this year. The property is wonderful, with a great location. Somar continues to be a wonderful and extremely helpful property manager. We're already looking forward to our next trip.

Beautiful!

Our expectation was much more than what the photos showed online. This was a perfect fit for several of us who came to STX for our son's wedding. Everyone had their own space and restroom which was a plus! Somar, the property manager, was great to work with and very helpful. You do need to expect several stairs in and around the property and is not ADA compliant. The pool was like staying at a resort, it was gorgeous. Definitely recommend Estate Belvedere and will rent again if the need arises.

Wonderful Villa

We had a marvelous trip to Estate Belvedere. There were 12 of us (6 couples) that stayed at the villa. It was perfect for our group. The property is beautiful (the pictures really don't do it justice), the house is immaculate, the views are great, the pool is huge and the outdoor sitting area is wonderful for gathering and relaxing. The location is in my favorite area of St. Croix. It's a 5 minute drive down to Cane Bay and the beach/restaurants there and you're only about 20 minutes from either Christiansted or Frederiksted. Finally, Somar, the property's caretaker, was a joy to work with. Friendly, knowledgeable and always helpful. She was an excellent added bonus to the villa.

Beautiful and peaceful , amazing views and comfort

We have rented homes on St. Croix 6 times, and this was our favorite. The home is beautiful and comfortable and very interesting with the sugar mill entrance and the ruins on the grounds. Somar is the wonderful grounds manager and she showed us around the place and answered our questions as they arose. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the house was set up with provisions so we did not need to grocery shop on our arrival day! They even provided the recipe and ingredients for the house cocktail, the "Beveldere", and we enjoyed them throughout the week (dark rum, banana rum, lime juice, orange juice!) There was plenty of room in the house for our entire group. Oh, and the pool is so large and so clean! There were 3 very friendly, low-key dogs who would walk up to the house once each day, as though they live there (which they do) and we felt like we had very well behaved pets but with none of the responsibility. There are hummingbird that feed on the flowers around the house, and we saw a really cool hermit crab walking along the driveway one night. We hope to return soon.

Amazing home!

First of all the pictures don’t do this house justice! It is just gorgeous! The main house with the beautiful brick, hosts 3 bedrooms- 1 upstairs 2 down all w private baths. The deck? Amazing! 2 apartments both w 2 queen beds just down a path gives guests space to spread out, also the cottage adjacent to apartments. Plenty of space to spread out or hide when you need to sit quietly for a minute. The pool was huge with a nice sit in shelf to cool off if you didn’t want to swim and was a perfect way to end the night after a hot day exploring beautiful STX. Location was perfect! Views were amazing. Landscaping was gorgeous. House had everything we needed and more than any other VRBO we’ve rented in past. Somar the property caretaker was so sweet and so helpful whenever a minor blip came up. My only advice? Follow the pin she sends not the address on the listing if you book, gps didn’t like that one lol I already miss the views and flamboyant trees! Book this house you won’t regret it. We will be back

The Best of Times at Estate Belvedere

When I planned this trip, I hoped for a vacation where everyone (ages 14 months to 76 years) would have opportunities and space to come together in various configurations, enjoy activities together and alone and relax. Estate Belvedere had it all. There were quiet spots to go off and read a book or have one-to-one time, and indoor and outdoor spaces for all eleven of us to gather. The local artwork throughout the estate was lovely. The pool is enormous and pristine with lots of tables and seating around it. The landscaping is exquisite. Beauty all around. The tower top was a favorite for sunsets. Accommodations were everything I could ask for: attractive, spacious, clean, extremely comfortable and well provisioned. There was a nicely stocked library of books and games and a magic closet with everything from sunblock to first aid supplies to snorkeling equipment. Sumar’s warm presence and immediate helpfulness was a joy. At every step, from a pre-shop to stock us with food for our first days, to answering every one of our questions with patience and good humor, she had the gift of being friendly and available without being intrusive. We all appreciated and liked her so very much. Estate Belvedere is a special place. It facilitated a vacation together that brought us even closer and provided us with laughs, deep conversations and playful games. I give it my highest recommendation and hope to return there.

8 days in a tropical paradise

We stayed for 8 days in this amazing property with a group of 11. Everyone had their own stunningly beautiful accomodations with the main house being the gathering area. The AMAZING caribbean breeze coming through the house was exactly what the doctor ordered. Walking through the sugar mill and seeing all of the hues of blue on the ocean as you look through the main house...you feel like you need to pinch yourself. Everything we could have possibly needed was supplied. Somar, the caretaker was incredibly warm and gracious. Stocking us with coffee, juice and breakfast items so we didn't have to go straight to the store on our first day there. She is the best!!! The views from every area of the property were breathtaking. The grounds themselves are meticulously maintained by Frank, the groundskeeper, who was charming and friendly. I don't know how he keeps up with it because every inch of the expansive property is absolutely magical. The pictures of the property online are pretty, but seeing it in person will take your breath away. Watching the sun rise over the hills from atop the sugar mill, seeing the morning light stream through the amazing ruins on the grounds, enjoying a dip in the pool during the day and watching the island's humming birds visit soooo many beautiful flowers, dinner in the evening gathered around the large outdoor dining table, watching the sky turn pink and purple while the sun sets, with family from all over the country, seeing a million stars while lounging on the enormous deck listening to music and talking about our adventures that day. What a perfect place for some time away from all of the madness the past year has given us. We are so grateful to the property owners who have decided to share this epic oasis. We cannot wait go to back! Thank you so much Somar for making our stay so amazing. We are absolutely enchanted by Estate Belvedere.

Absolute Perfection!

I cannot say enough about Estate Belvedere. The property is absolutely gorgeous and even more than I expected. The rooms, the gardens, the pool, the view! Our stay was honestly a dream. Somer, the property manager, is so very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed getting to talk to her each day. Do not hesitate to book Estate Belvedere! Amazing weeklong stay

This house is so wonderful that even if you never left it, you’d have an amazing vacation! The grounds are beautiful and the pool is enormous. The kitchen was very well-equipped, we enjoyed hanging out and dining on the back deck (and grilling on the Weber grill). They have everything you need - beach towels, sun hats, beach chairs, pool floats, etc. Its a pretty quick drive to Cane Bay beach and a few restaurants, The Landing and AMA a Cane Bay (we went to the latter twice). The house is about 20 minutes from the airport. There aren’t any grocery stores close by, so you just have to make sure you coordinate your excursions and grocery shopping. The house was fairly centrally located to all the places we wanted to visit: tidal pools, Rainbow Beach, Cane bay beach, bioluminescent kayaking, departure for snorkeling trip to Buck Island, and Domino Club.

Elegance at it’s Best

Starting from the beginning, Jeri was an absolute delight to work with in the process of getting house rented. We changed the number of guest a couple of times and Jeri was very accommodating to our needs, no one could had been better! When we arrived at the estate it was more than we all expected, The home was magnificent, the outdoors, lush and green, well manicured. The pool quite inviting. The accommodations of the home well beyond what anyone could need. The bedrooms and bathrooms perfect,, having multiple washers and dryers great! Loved the home, it was simply breathtaking, prefect for the wedding! Then there was Somar! We all feel like we have a new life time friend. She was extremely helpful to us all. Anything we needed ( which was not much) she was always there! She told us a lot about the area including St. Croix history, the best places to dine, the best things to see and do! Somar made our stay so much better, we enjoyed her so much! Amazing estate with beautiful views and all the amenities

Three families stayed at the estate and absolutely loved it! There was plenty of room to spread out and the home is in excellent shape as well as super clean. The view and pool are wonderful but the caretaker, Somar, is a true gem! Super helpful and friendly. We appreciated the excellent communication and fully stocked kitchen. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Incredible Week!

It is difficult to summarize such an amazing property! The online pictures do not do this home justice. We traveled with 14 family members of all ages and we had AMPLE room to spread out. The main guest home is built off of an old sugar mill and the architecture and history are fascinating! The open air (ridiculously equipped) kitchen and vast decking lent themselves to gorgeous mountain and ocean views. We could have spent all day gazing into the sea, but there was so much more to see! The enormous, pristine pool, the acres of manicured tropical plants and stunning ruins also demanded our attention. The property also boasts a small, guest cottage and a LARGE two story apartment building which happily housed our teenage children. Did I mention the space?!! One of the most wonderful parts of the trip was becoming acquainted with Somar, the property manager. She met us at the beach the very day we arrived to ensure that we wouldn't become lost and answered every question and concern for the entire week. She definitely knows the ins and outs of St. Croix! She could NOT have been more helpful and kind and she and her sweet pups felt like one of the family by the time we left. It was hard to say goodbye! The property fit our needs perfectly and we are all already discussing a booking for next year! It was a magical vacation!

Wedding venue and stay

Property was beautiful and well maintained. Property manager, Somar, was helpful and friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. We held a small wedding ceremony on the property and it was perfect. Would definitely recommend for large family groups that want to be together but also have some privarcy.
