There is a $90 pet fee.

Private hill country cabin featuring a king sized bed, a lovely bath with clawfoot tub plus a separate walk in shower and a full kitchen complete with full size appliances to cook the perfect meal. Guests will also enjoy two charming indoor fireplaces along with a big screen TV w/ Blue-Ray player (feel free to bring your favorite movie with you). You will find a TV and blue-ray player but no cable reception...remember, this is why you headed to the country! Outdoors soak away the day and relax in the hot tub, be at one with nature in the outdoor shower or gaze at the beautiful night sky sitting around the outdoor firepit. This beautiful Texas Hill Country cabin is the perfect place to get away from it all, plan your trip to Casa del Sol today!

​​​​​​​Please Note: You are renting a cabin in the Hill Country which means you may encounter wildlife (Snakes, Deer, Racoons, ETC) Please be aware of your surroundings, and take caution while driving at night. You may also encounter the various bugs, spiders, scorpions and mice that live in the country AND sometimes do make their way inside. All properties do utilize pest control services on a regular basis BUT this does not guarantee no pests or bugs will not be visible.

A wonderful place to stay! Quiet, secluded, and exactly what I needed. The cabin had all the amenities, and the hot tub was excellent. For anyone who needs to work while traveling, cell reception was surprisingly good, and I was able to plug in my Verizon Wi-Fi router without any issues. Can’t wait to come back again!

needs a little more detail to cleaning

Our stay was great and we enjoyed ourselves. A few things I would note: - cups, plates, and silverware were not the cleanest. Most had food or something still on them and needed additional cleaning. Its can be understandable with cups if they sit for a while but silverware and plates being dirty I would only think is a lack of cleaning. - The bathroom had two used soap containers. Not sure if this was left by past guest or not but they were sitting on the window seal. - Lastly the whole cabin in my opinion needs a good cleaning from dust and maybe one spider web. Insects were really not bad at all, I just note the spiderweb as it was noticeable from the kitchen to the bathroom area. But the dust, the house had dust piles on the fans, top and back of TV, top of fridge, and more. Like I said before our stay was great and we enjoyed the cabin. None of this effected our stay or would detour us from coming back. honestly was wondering where the cabin was purchased/made, so that we could put one similar at our lake house for friends and family. its a great size. Would come back for sure! Thanks

The stay at the cabin was more than expected we had a wonderful time and it was so close to everything only about 15 min from town and 25 min to enchanted rock. Our dog had a very nice time as well watching the deer.

Wonderful place!

This was a very nice cabin that had everything we needed! We enjoyed the solitude and surrounding nature. We even got to hear some cows, roosters and donkeys in the distance. We went during the Perseid meteor shower and this was an excellent dark sky location - we could even see the Milky Way! Definitely recommend.

We loved our stay!

I just left a Google review. It was everything I was looking for in a romantic getaway. I would make sure the bathroom has air freshener or a fan installed, and some type of Clorox cleanup to clean the toilet during the stay.

Great place

Thank you for a wonderful private place to stay. We enjoyed the hummingbirds and all the other birds out in front. We also enjoyed the fireplace in the main room and the bathroom as well. Really liked the quietness and privacy of the country. We love the hill country. Had a good time hiking on Enchanted Rock 1 day and enjoyed the drive from your directions.

Perfect get away

We both really need this get away. From kids, jobs, animals, and people in general. We loved the secludedness of the cabin. We took advantage of the fire pit both nights and I think that was our favorite part. We never actually got in the hot tub but it looked nice too. Thank you for a perfect weekend.

Perfect Anniversary getaway

This was the perfect honeymoon stay for us! This cabin was peaceful and secluded just far enough away from town. The bed was super comfortable and had all the amenities needed for the weekend. I cannot wait to book this cabin again!

Relaxing and Peaceful

Absolutely amazing and relaxing

We stayed for 6 nights and absolutely adored the cabin, the bed was comfortable, we bought our own movies due to no WiFi but was happy to see there were good options provided, the woodsy area was absolutely beautiful waking up early in the morning watching the sunrise and seeing all the wildlife. 10/10 would definitely recommend this cabin!

Whitetail Oakes

The cabin was is too far from town, we go into Fredericksburg twice daily when we stay in the Fredericksburg area. The gate to the property is a lock and chain and is inconvenient to open and close twice a day. The hot tub was dirty and had not been cleaned since two other couples had stayed at the cabin. We don't know for sure but we suspect that the sheets had not been changed after the previous couple left. The water pressure was low. The outside shower was great, the best part of the cabin. The day before we were leaving the hot tub was serviced, cleaned and drained and refilled with fresh water. We could not use the hot tub until the evening because of the chemicals that had to be added earlier. The last night we were there we were trying to use the hot tub and were overcome by a swarm of mosquitoes. We were bitten 15-20 times. If you stay here make sure and take plenty of repellent. We will not stay here again.

Perfect spot for relaxation

The area was beautiful with all the wild flowers in bloom. The cabin was nice and comfy and had everything. The hot tub was great to sit in during the evening hours. The outside shower was AMAZING!! We never even used the inside shower or tub. We enjoyed watching the birds coming in and out of the birdhouses as we sat in the hot tub. One young buck came in for water during the evening hours. Dont forget to bring cat food to feed the feral black cats who guard the cabin. We really enjoyed the area and hope to be back next year!
