Mountain Farmhouse is located on a gated private 250 acre family estate that is surrounded by Pisgah National Forest. If privacy, convenience, a little slice of heaven is what you are looking for you’ve found it! The home is surrounded by mountains, ponds, pastures & private hiking trails. There is an abundance of wildlife to watch, along with the beauty of horses grazing. You can enjoy one of the covered porches while you rock, swing on the porch swing, lounge on the outdoor sofa, or enjoy an evening meal on the outdoor tables. The outdoor fireplace is a special treat too! Also convenient to Brevard, Asheville, DuPont, Hendersonville, Biltmore, shopping, & restaurants.
The amenities of the home will keep you more than comfortable too! The spacious home is like 2 homes in one, with even 2 kitchens. The main floor is ground level with no stairs to enter the home. On this main floor is a 1/2 bath, master suite w private en suite w tub & walk in shower, large kitchen, living room with real wood burning fireplace, & even a custom made farm table from a maple tree on the property. Also, plenty of pantry storage for your groceries.
The 2nd story hosts a large den with a ping pong table. The second story covered sleeping deck has a twin sized bed swing, a perfect hide out for napping, with an outdoor fan & a view of the pasture. There are large vaulted ceilings in this room & also a full size kitchen. There are 3 spacious bedrooms & 2 full baths on this floor. The den has a tv & beautiful views you can enjoy.

We are unable to accommodate any type of snow plow to the roads or driveway. This means that if there is an inclement storm in our area that could effect your reservation, it could be altered or refunded. Safety is the top priority during winter reservation months.

When the homeowners occupy the home they do have indoor pets staying with them.
